- Stage 2: “The Narrows” (100 points)
-Loadout: 4 x 15 rifle 4 x 12 pistol (max rounds per shape 15 for rifle // 12 for pistol)
-Time Cap: 15:00 min
-Firing Sequence: Rifle will be shot from the pvc inside the barricade, handguard must be in contact with the PVC and may not be touching anything else. Pistol will be shot from the marked ports.
Stage description:
Athletes will begin on the S/F line one set of magazines retained, all others staged on the S/F line. On the call of “go” athletes will grab their handled bags and move toward the rig. Athletes will perform a forward facing bear crawl with their bags under the rig. Once navigated they will retain their bags and move towards the firing line. Once reached, athletes will begin F/S1. Once complete athletes will weave their bags back through the rig and return it to the S/F line to grab the second set of mags. This process will be repeated for rounds 2-4. Time stops when the athlete and bag cross the S/F line.

This is tough..simple movements with heavy weights then shooting accurately is no easy task

Is this scored on time in addition to accuracy? It seems like most were pacing to get through the 4 mags but maybe there wasn’t incentive to push faster than that.

80 and 60lbs in the men’s elite division.

Why they wearing carriers if there’s no armor in them? They’re not even using them to carry mags or anything. What’s the purpose?
The plate carriers are weighted with steel or soft training plates. 15lbs for men and 12lbs for women.
