    Why do they have the thumb on the right side of the rifle during shooting? Thank You.

    • @Marksman5147
      @Marksman5147 4 месяца назад

      Less chance of your wrist influencing trigger pull, you should always be shooting thumb right side of safety when firing at small targets esp from a supported position.
      Only time I have my thumb on the left side would be running and gunning, moving and shooting, room clearing etc where it doesn’t have much of an affect and I need to put the safety on faster

    Can someone wrap this up for me. Is there a maximum time for the stage? Is there a maximum number of rifle/pistol rounds to be fired? Hom many targets are fired at? How do you win the stage?

    • @TheTacticalGames
      @TheTacticalGames  Год назад +3

      There are a few different ways stages are scores, some are time based, where every shot you miss adds :10 to your time and there are stages you accumulate points for hits and fitness. There is always a time cap to complete the work. You win the stage by having the lowest time or most points. The others are scored based off of the top performance in their division.

    are they not allowed to use electronic hearing protection?

    • @TheTacticalGames
      @TheTacticalGames  Год назад

      We don’t have an restrictions for hearing protection. Most prefer in ear while shooting rifle because over ear can interfere with a cheek weld.

      @@TheTacticalGames “rifle to 700yds” and “action style shooting”
      No pistol distance info and no range of engagement distance’s, just “rifle to 700yds” thanks I guess
      Suggestion:
      Intermediate rifle engagement distances:
      Most targets will fall in the 25-200yd range with a few shots reaching out to 700yds
      Intermediate pistol engagement distances:
      Most targets will fall in the 7-50yd range with a few shots at further ranges up to 100yds.
      Real simple shit.
      The way your website is currently set up it looks like it’s 75% focused on CrossFit dorks and 25% focused on shooters.

    Anyone know what targets they are using?

    • @killaambusher
      @killaambusher 2 года назад +1

      It looks like 4" circles at 10m and 50m for pistol and rifle respectively . I am not sure though. You can catch a glimpse of them throughout this video.

    • @LordGrayActual
      @LordGrayActual 2 года назад +2

      Each backer has multiple reduced sized targets. You shoot at a separate reduced sized target for every iteration. Targets are various shapes (diamond, circle, triangle, etc) and generally have a scoring area of 6-10 square inches within the given shape.

    • @jamesthornton3389
      @jamesthornton3389 2 года назад +2

      Both are right.. some targets are small 4" circles; others were shapes (pending the battle).
