Everyone is getting upset that dodge is going electric but dodge really killed it by making these top of the line SRT the V8 will be missed thank you Dodge.
In most stories the hero cruises off quietly into the sunset. In this story, the unforgettable Challenger is not going quietly. To the Challenger, and to the last remaining gasoline fanatics at Dodge…thank you! (Yeah I’ll say it again!)

Doesn’t matter. Even if dodge said has to be sold at MSRP the dealers would just drive them for 500 miles then sell them used for double MSRP. Ford dealerships were doing this with F250s when they were really hard to find and it’s pretty common with tundra and Tacoma TRD pros and Ford Raptors and Ram TRX. Manufacturers can’t tell a dealership what they can do with a used vehicle.
They are selling it for 180k and that’s not including the add ons
Sad this era is ending, but grateful for what Dodge has offered. It’s been a hella of a ride.
This can’t be the end of great cars from this brand. They have to have other stuff in the works. I just have that feeling that they do. Only time will tell.

I have a special connection with the challenger. The first time I ever went over 100mph was when my Great Aunt Christine took me out and let me do it in her Challenger; that was the greatest memory I have that’s car related. I know y’all are busy and can’t read everyone’s comments but I love your company and hope that one day, I can come work for y’all as an Automotive Engineer. My Great Aunt used to work for Chrysler. She worked on the floor assembly on electrical stuff for y’all back in the day. She has inspired me in so many ways and has rubbed off her love for Chrysler to me. It is her dream to have a white challenger like off the movie “Vanishing Point” she sadly didn’t get one but she got a black challenger that she loves so very much. Something I learned about in the Automotive World is that it’s not so much the car; it’s the story. without a story, a car would just be a form of transportation.
I want one if only the dealers wouldn’t price gouge me out of affording one. Great job everybody at Dodge and the SRT team another one out of the park yet again.
Even without the price gouging, these cars are unaffordable to 95% of Americans.
I’m a one arm hellcat driver that reviewed it. I must say, it’s a beast, especially controlling it with my one hand. No doubt in my mind that’s a space ship for sure!

so glad i get to be apart of this generation of cars, mid 90s i was born so cars werent that interesting till i started seeing horsepower that was rare in cars back in the day, growing up if you had 400hp you were king, an thought u were fast now that i have trucks an cars 700hp to 1100hp i only wish i could show few of the old guys what these new cars are like

Hey Dodge. Just sell the rolling chassis, and engines with different VIN numbers. Have the customers tighten one bolt on the vehicle at time of pick up. That way you can bypass emissions standards and continue selling V8s as Kit Cars or customer built custom cars. :)

@@nerychristian True. However, it depends on how much muscle you want. You can still buy a lot of used muscle cars from the late 70's to early 2000's for an affordable price. If you want something new or crazy fast or rare, that's where it starts to get expensive. The charger and challenger are a really good value for what they are but not very affordable. But we also live in a world where an economy car cost around 40 grand now. I would love to see cars made more simple for a lower price. I can't afford any new muscle cars right now.

if they didnt want to stop they should have lobbied for less regulations. BUT, like all other manufacturers, they dont use their power for anything good. They bend over and take it from the EPA and we suffer as a result.

Dodge, I understand the aftermarket deals and all, but you definitely should have made this car stock with the exhaust I hear all these guys with that ACTUALLY sounds like a Demon. Scat Packs and Hellcats sound amazing with whatever exhaust they be getting.
