Well there's that. After +30 years of Ford, I purchased a 392 in 2016. Haven't looked back.
Oh boy this is going to be a lot of fun with the ease of a push button and install. 797 to 885 is a nice bump!
I hope you realize you can get the car to 1000+ or even more already, this is a waste of time for little to nothing.
@@meankronen8217 you’re missing the point. Yes you can get 1000 plus horsepower, but you’re going to void your warranty in the process. This is basically the same, but doesn’t mess with the warranty. It may not be as much as 1000 hp, but really…to complain about 885 hp is asinine.

@@meankronen8217 depending of the price of the upgrades it would seem convenient, of course you aren’t getting over 1000HP but a 100HP jump isn’t as bad either, with warranty included if anything apparently breaks, you are covered. That’s basically the point of including the warranty in this video, but everyone has different opinions about it.

Ford apparently had something similar with the Fiesta ST and mountune 215 upgrade kits (had to also be installed by a dealer). Only it didn’t go as far as Dodge is going here.

Oh boy, Dodge Brothers doing it again! 885 horsepower from Stage 2 kit on Redeye with factory warranty still intact. Too bad, nothing for Scat Packs owners which other than RT owners is the bread and butter. I would love to be in 550ish range in the Scat!
This is why I boosted my Scat. There's no real performance upgrade options for the Scats.

Exciting! I had a 68 Dodge as my first car & installed DC performance parts on it. I even had a purple cam. Glad to see Dodge go back to where they started with their performance line.
Big Win for 2019+ Challenger Hellcat & Redeye owners. Looking forward to the release of the Stage Kits for the Charger Hellcat/Redeye & Durango Hellcat.
Those are dream numbers. That red eye is gonna be mine some day. Only 18 and got the slowest dodge but I’m working to those amazing high numbers just can’t imagine what that kind of power feels like

@@jesselent7894 I disagree. If Dodge offered SRT Parts for the lower trims (Cam, Headers, Gears etc) in a trickle down kind of way and put a fair price tag on those Stage Kits to get said parts, they’d make a lot of money from the lower trim guys trying to beef up their cars

To much job for ignoticiable power gain, sorry bro but it is the true, for hellcats gain power is to easy just change air filter, pulley and some touch at the tune and gain easily +100 hp, for a 392s get +80 hp you need PCM ,air filter, throttle body, headers and exhaust, cams, switch to E85 with new fuel injectors and pump , and tune

@@noname-md6pw What kind of comparison is this? The Venom F5 isn't capable of carrying 5 people and all of the cargo needed to go on vacation at the same time while making 800+ horsepower. To be honest, I think this is as American as American gets. You can haul your kids, daily drive, and be comfortable in your car and still go to the strip and race fantastic numbers at the same time. All while holding onto your factory warranty and without having to deal with the EPA. The F5 is impressive, but isn't half as practical or usable for most people. I would rather buy a Viper and make over double the Venom F5's power and still save hundreds of thousands of dollars in comparison to Hennessey's astronomical price tags.

Wouldnt make a difference. The factory warranty only lasts 3 years so its gone anyways. Might as well take it to an experienced mopar tuner and get pully work done.

The mods will work on any hellcat likely. Whats stopping them. I think stage 2 redeye is obviously for 19+ because thats when redeye was introduced and it has slightly more goodies under hood

Dodge not supporting the 392 is a joke lets only sell parts only a small fraction of our customer base can actually get this brand will be dead come 2023
They aren't supporting it because the true SRT 392 no longer exists thanks to the Scat Pack. Except on the Grand Cherokee and Durango. I know it is still an SRT engine, but when it comes to the Charger and Challenger, the car itself no longer falls under the SRT nameplate.

Of course they are jailbreaks are redeyes not a whole new model
@@diavontepele-clark8181 correct but has a different tune that may not be compatible with all the additions. I’m sure they can tune it to whatever it needs but there are things different with the jailbreak from a redeye similar but different plus it may be a 1 year car so warranty may not last 3-4 years on it.

The 3.6 has a few parts in the catalog such as a Mopar intake, lowering springs, etc that can be installed by a power brokers dealer.

From 717 to 757 with a stage 2 kit for the hellcat........40hp ......... a little disappointed honestly. Now I'm sure this will cost upwards of 3k+ and all to maintain your warranty.
It’s a tuner, pulley, air filter and thermostat. How much power do you think that should make? You can only go so far before you need bigger injectors, fuel pumps, etc.

Especially since dodge is claiming it's unlocking horsepower that technically the car is already producing since dodge underrates the power output of the hellcat. If I understood the the redeyes are basically the only ones to get the crazy numbers?
This can be debatable depending on what you do, but keep in mind the Redeye engine is much stronger. It has a different bottom end, different heads, most strengthening parts of which come from the Demon. That being said it also has the larger 2.7 liter supercharger which is where the extra 90 horsepower comes from over the "standard" Hellcat. They push more power out of the Redeye because of the nature of the engine's construction. It is much safer to push bigger power out of a Redeye engine without having to do significant engine changes.
@@02hockeystick19 I get the the redeye engine is better, but that's literally no justification for this 😂
I think the biggest difference is the redeye engine has better lubrication, the blower might be bigger but it can't be spun as fast as the hellcat blower therefore it will fail sooner.
Besides were not talking about "max builds" here were talking about a street able 1000whp which is more then possible on a hellcat stock block and internals
