The glass bed and the bracket the bed sits on are so heavy. I drilled mine out and cut a lot of weight. I don't have a scale lol so I can't tell you the exact amount, but it's a lot. I replaced the glass for a magnetic spring steel sheet which significantly cut the weight and replaced the bed wheels for M4 nuts. I would suggest an Orbiter 2.0 direct drive & motor upgrade over the stock Nema 17 to cut your weight right down on the gantry.
So you got up to 150mm/s using direct drive, upgraded cooling, and Skr board. As well as the upgraded springs of course. But stock hotend it looks like? I’d imagine I don’t need to upgrade the belt tensioner either.
For some reason my volcano nozzle is higher than the 3d printed satsana mod. Could I unscrew the volcano nozzle a bit so it goes lower? If I install a k1 nozzle, I think it would also work because the head is taller. I am almost done your whole mod! Thanks for your help!
Hello! I printed your version of the motor mount in ABS. It fits fine behind the bearing and the tube connector is aligned nicely with the hotend but now the extruder screws don't fit anymore, since the material is way thicker than the metal sheet it's supposed to be mounted originally. Did you use longer screws?
Great video! I have been waiting for a while, and will the filament making machine ever come back in a full tutorial? I once tried to make a PET one, and it didn't work because the pet wouldn't extrude properly. This is why I wanted to see your proper PLA filament making one, as I could've used lots of the parts from the broken machine, as they are obviously quite similar. Is the project scrapped? Or should I still wait for an in-depth / finalised tutorial on how to make it? Thanks!
Hey there, I'm sorry to inform you friend that I scrapped that project. When I considered the output versus the time required, it wasn't really feasible for me. It makes more sense for me to spend a bit more money and buy filament rather than dealing with pellets and the extrusion process. But if you need any help with this, you can contact me or share the image or video of the problem directly at creative3dp0@gmail.com. I'd be happy to help you out. Thanks for understanding.
Very nice video. Would be nice if you could include prices of products you used. I want to rebuild my printer also to be a "little" faster, would be very interesting to see how much you spent.
Hm direct drive but attached old heavy motor on x qxis 🤔. It supposed to be as light as possible not as heavy as possible 😂, the old original is better in your case because it's not so heavy
i was thinking maybe it would be a better option to get a e3d volcano hotend clone primarily to get a all metal setup so you can easily go beyond the 240°c limitation to print petg and also so you can increase the flowrate of pla

Ohhh I see, you used the stock hotend heat sink,
But have the longer heating zone below.

Thanks .
Which printer would you purchase now if you were new to the game?
Update: I found your video regarding my question .. thanks great content
Excellent! Thank you
at what point is this no longer an ender 3?
the printer is sooooo dirty clean it!!!
lol so is mine, these things are dust magnets
I want next part 2 😢, i am very excited to see
very soon...

Yes, I used longer screw

Thank you. I think i missed that in the video.
I made a modification to yor design on Cults under Profile "FlueRian" It works with the Original screws and isn't too wobbly.
that's awesome.

Can you share your upgrading print files

Ok will do it in next part
Links to products used?
Agreed. It’s nice information but would be great to know where to get the parts.
its good that you take the microphone only for image when you are on camera 😀
Smal improvement on looks, you could 3d print white V covers so it looks more uniform 🥰
Thanks for the tip!
Where can I get the Stl for your refined version of the satsana??
You can now check the description. I have updated the link there.
Where do you order the parts from?
The only upgrades u did was
1- motherboard
2- Direct drive
very nice my friend, your video help me, thanks for video, you are hero!
Thanks a lot mate, no I'm not a hero 😁. I'm just a normal person who has interest in 3D Printing

nice!.. I want to do something like that on my v2
I believe the Ender V2 Plate is different from the Ender 3. If that's the case, it would not be compatible.
Hey you look Indian, any chance you could drop the link as to where you got the volcano heaterblock from?

Printing petg wouldn't be a problem with the clone
who the fuck starts a conversation like that, then asks a completely unrelated question?
