I find it very Interesting how the rng in the game works and that the rng is not as random as you would think and that you can build a whole program to predict nearly everyting that is based on rng
I've used this; it's fantastic! But I have found, many times, that when I upload my save, and look for bubbles, the predictor doesn't capture everything. It's not just in the morning; un-predicted bubbles can pop up any time.
@@BlaDeSDV it's been ages since I played with a predictor, and the save file I used has been deleted, but I'll give it a try this weekend, and see what happens. Will using UI Info Suite change anything? I was probably using it, now that i think about it.

Suggestion: wouldn't it be useful to have a giant crop amount overlay as an optional part of the giant crop spawn location display that filters it to the exact spawn locations? I realize that isn't the only use case for the drop amounts but it seems like it would be a common one.

The predictor has helped so much for routing Speedruns and challenge runs , ever since Bla_de created it the complexity of challenges and the consistency or Speedruns have greatly improved, it was a joy to watch the community develop around it
Ooh I loved this predictor back when it was still in beta mode! It's great, Blade! Would you be able to add in a mode that lets you see what items you have and have not turned in to the community centre? Mousey's checker only tells you how many items are left in each room. Mostly just for offline purposes

A quick note, I uploaded my save file and went to an artifact spot that was supposed to be a Lost Book, but I ended up with a Dinosaur Egg. Then I realized I must've finished gathering all the books lol. Is this a bug? Should the artifact spots be re-calculated if the player has all the Lost Books? Huge thanks for what you do!!
Does the tree-seed predictor also overlay with Qi Beans from trees? That has been part of my qi bean strategy, planting lots of trees in the desert for a wood and qi bean boom when the quest is active. Thanks, BlaDe!

Hi, I've got a few thoughts about an interesting challenge and wanted to share. The main idea is to get 100% steam achievements in the shortest period of real time. I've just finished something similar, but I was too lazy to count anything, so I just bruteforced everything. I personally spend 25 hours on achievements, but I am 100% sure it can be much faster with optimisation. Few exact thoughts: you should probably start with a name like [279][163][896] which ID stands for Magic Rock Candy (Ultimate gift+expensive+great food), Legend (5000g) and Galaxy soul (5000g). Maybe there are some better options, but I don't know for sure. So every time you interact with someone who says your name, you will get these items. The next step is to get 4 hearts with Wizard, to get access to his basement to be able to change your name. I personally placed a phone near Shrine of Illusions, so to get items that I need only in one/two copies, I could call Gus, because he pronounces your name every time he answers. In case you need a lot of stuff, you can come to Stardrop Saloon and talk to him, there is a chance that he will say your name every time you click on him. You can cover a lot of achievements using only this glitch: money is not a problem, friendship too (I guess for better optimisation you should start getting hearts at a second year, not to come twice to Judy house to gift Kent; you will need 7 hearts with him to get a recipe anyway). The biggest grind part of the run (except changing your name and Calling Gus of course) would be getting all 10lvl skills, and catching all fishes. Some words about skills, because I spent lots of time on them: the biggest problem was foraging, because I don't know any strategy to farm it efficiently. Every day you can get 150 xp points for destroying Large stumps there, but it would take 100 days to get lvl 10. I haven't tried to plant season seeds, maybe it is faster than chopping trees and stumps. To get lvl 10 fishing + all fishes, I get third level just catching fish (as we know from one of previous videos, it can be fast), then bought 200 crab pots the same day and started grinding them every day. It would take like 4-5 days to get lvl 8/9, where you can buy Iridium Rod and start fishing every fish. Do not forget to get yourself some Seafoam Pudding to spend less time. Mining and Combat are not a problem, but you should remember that you can easily get Infinity Gavel, Iridium Pickaxe, and later you would have to grind all monster slayer goals from the Guild. Farming is not a problem too, because you can get Iridium sprinklers, and buy all the seeds you want. The last thing you should think about is that you cannot complete all achievements in one farm, so I guess you should start with restoring Pelican Town Community Center, as it requires golden quality pumpkins which you cannot get using name glitch. And after completing 39/40 achievements on this farm, you can start the second one and just buy joja membership as fast as you can. Any thoughts on that? I guess it is possible to complete all achievements in one run, so I challenge you to do that)

@18:00 do giant crops only spawn if you *watered* the middle crop the day before it becomes fully grown and surrounded by any stage of the same type? Pretty sure you can leave it un-watered once it becomes fully grown
How does the deprecated luck skill function? I have a mod that implements it. The predictor doesn't have a separate entry for it, so I'd need to know what it's equivalent to, e.g. a food buff or extra daily luck, to use it in my games. I'll admit this isn't an issue for the most common use case for this thing, challenge runs, where naturally no mods are present.
A food buff/lucky rings adds to the Luck Skill. The skill is still present, and things do try to give luck xp, but this is discarded. So in the predictor, just use the LuckLevel box

I LOVE this tool, but is there a reason that not all the fish are able to be checked in the fish pond mode? I'm trying to figure out where to put my spookfish pond but I can't find it in the selection menu. Maybe I downloaded it wrong or something? Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Hi Blade, i recently found your channel and was very interested in your predictor and tried it out, but i couldnt find my save files in my file. They wont show for me if i want to select them.
sadly it imports the daily luck wrong. Like right now I have "a little extra luck" day which means between which means between 0.02 and 0.07 daily luck but your app is showing 0.009 daily luck which is WAY less.
Unless I've missed something here, is there a rng seed finder in your program? I tried coding something together myself and between trying to figure out the algorithm, I struggle hard to find any room for optimization that would allow for searching all the seeds faster.
What do you mean by rng seed finder? Put in rng results and it returns what your seed is? I have theorised making something to work this out based on the travelling cart results, but haven't made anything yet.
@@BlaDeSDV I mean when you have a desired outcome and you want to find the most optimal seed for that result. Like when looking for the spot with the highest yield for a crop like potatoes or for finding the most optimal billboard for your marriage speedrun.
Make sure you are on the correct tile. The autopetter is two tiles high, I can't remember whether to look at the top or bottom. Turn on the view for all items and that will help see which tile to look at
Please BlaDe, make this to work on a web browser. Since 1.5 mobile is out, this predictor is would really open up a new speedrun challenge. Ps. i play on iphone 12 pro
By inputting the seed manually. There is no easy way to find out your seed from an existing farm. You will have to input the seed when starting a new game. Though you could use dynamic seed tech to change your seed to something that you know (enter a new seed on new game, go back to the menu without starting the file, then load an old file. You will be on your old farm with a new seed)
your predictor was and still is an absolute game changer for stardew speedruns and challenges. congrats on nearly 20K downloads 🎆

One of the things that comes to mind is that this tool could even be used to verify speedruns if things seem fishy, so that's really cool.

I thought it could be silly to do a challenge run where you rush ancient fruit but only plant seeds you make yourself rather than from a seed maker.

It doesn't work on phones directly. I have considered making it work online like mouseypounds, but that will be a big project

Switch has different RNG for some reason. This works on mobile and ps4. I have heard limited success from xbox

PS4 seems to be the same. Switch is all different. Have had mixed reports from Xbox

By inputting the seed manually. There is no easy way to find out your seed from an existing farm. You will have to input the seed when starting a new game. Though you could use dynamic seed tech to change your seed to something that you know (enter a new seed on new game, go back to the menu without starting the file, then load an old file. You will be on your old farm with a new seed)
