- Seanie Dew did a challenge to go from 0xp to lvl 10 (15,000xp) in Stardew skills in a single game day.
He claimed that Fishing was impossible. I proved him wrong.
He also claimed that Combat was impossible and challenged me to do that one too. Shall I prove him wrong again?

A:So I made a boo boo. I thought you could get it from crates in hard mode, looks like you can't. You should be able to get the same result using a Dragontooth Shiv, but I will have to prove this as some point

Can’t you get “special” drops from destroying crates and barrels as a rare drop as well? Therefore, it should still be possible to get an Iridium Needle without killing an enemy.

My favourite part of the totally plausible setup for this run is the sheer audacity of using magic rock candy for healing.

i earned max friendship with binx by telling him he’s the prettiest boy (see pfp for proof) and giving him kisses. it took a week but it was the best strategy i could come up with

BlaDe, you should give this info to Underscore and put this and the fishing to a TAS to see just how fast both can technically be done with the best scenarios!
I don't think they can 100% TAS this challenges. Ennemis position is random. And for the fishing challenge the movement of the fish is also random so you can't catch them using TAS.
@@Metylene I don't know the TAS used in sdw, but technically it should be possible ( you could read these values from RAM, and you may can retry better, maybe while fishing, depending on when the calculation happens)

How does it work? Does chat solve it?
If slime hutch slimes don't give you XP, could you hatch 10 of them, kill them, and then access the adventurers guild that way? Then you could access the galaxy hammer and dagger as well as explosive ammo if that helps anything
Always fun to watch you smash a challenge in one go! I still did the drumroll at the end even though I knew it worked out. Can't wait for the next one!

I just watched the MAX fishing level one today to see what skills I could pick up on that I might have missed and thought it's been a while since he said he'd look at combat. I don't do Twitch or livestreams so this is the first I've seen of your efforts.

I do wonder if it's possible to get all skills to level 10 in a day* in one ongoing save.
To be clear, I mean each skill gets one day each, all in one single day is clearly impossible simply due to time constraints.
That would mean not doing anything that grants XP until your preparation for one of the skills is complete, it would certainly be crazy
I did a bit of light routing. It *should* be possible. I've thought about actually doing the run but I don't understand the RNG manipulation/prediction necessary to do fishing.
Otherwise, the two big issues are keeping your farm clear enough to get around while not being able to use mining or foraging and just how much of a grind it would be.
How many skills could you get to level 10 in one day?
I'm going to guess with explosive ammo mining could very possibly be combined with the above, taking paused pot shots at nodes on SK floor 2.
Somewhat possibly with the booty express technique (combined with animation cancelled harvesting?) the 235 Sweet Gem Berries that Seanie Dew showed in first video could be harvested relatively quickly too, allowing enough time for combat/mining.
If booty express + animation cancelled harvesting / chopping is extremely efficient, it might be possible to stack a great deal of seasonal forage (Seed Maker from bundles assisting) plus single hit tree chopping (iridium axe + powerful enchant). 2143 pickup forage or 1250 trees, it's not impossible but very unlikely. I ran some numbers for doing dangerous mines 41-69 for large stumps but the comparative lack of combat xp makes it seem really bad.
Given the tight schedule in Blade's fishing video, it's just not happening with current techniques.
So I think Blade could probably do 3 with prep, 4 is up in the air.

@@rudulphscott I think farming, foraging and combat are doable idk about mining on top of all that. I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think you’d be able to craft explosive ammo till you sleep and adventurer guild doesn’t open till 2 and there’s a requirement to get in as well

Hi Blade! How do you research specific seeds? I’m looking for a seed that guarantees a snake spine artifact drop, if it exists! Great vid, btw :)
I have scripts that recreate the RNG. For the snake spine, you can force it out of any artifact spot on the island farm. Till the spot, if not the spine reset the day and till a random spot, then the artifact spot. If no spine, repeat tilling more random spots until you get it. This only works for the island bone fossils.

Now it’s time to see how many skills you can max in 1 day. Farming is a gimme, same with foraging, forage seeds and a bunch of sweet gem berries. That could be on the Ginger island farm, then go into the witches hut and kill a bunch of ancient dolls. And then maybe fish ponds and then fishing. (Couldn’t you get Crimsonfish, then warp to Mountain, then get Angler then the Legend?) Either that or maybe mining?
In no scenario you'll get to ginger island without leveling up most if not all of your skills at least once

I could imagine a strategy for getting to level 120 of the Mines without killing anything and I could imagine how painful that would be to get the Skull Caverns Key that way.
cant you just buy a bunch of stone and staircase down to floor 120?

You don't need to kill enemies to get to the bottom of the mines normally. You wouldn't be able to pass infested floors, so you'd need to quit for the day and continue later. But destroying every rock on a floor guarantees a ladder, so doing that while outhealing enemies would let you reach mines floor 120.

The slime hutch actually comes with an incubator and can hold a maximum of 20 slimes… and I’m pretty sure you can build more than one. Tiger slimes give 20XP, and lionfish ponds can give a tiger slime egg?
I don’t know if you could fit 38 slime hutches on a beach farm, but you can get 400 XP per hutch? And then you could probably go to the skull cavern for what XP is still needed?
I think he mentioned right after watching Seanie’s video that homegrown slimes don’t give XP

I think a new strategy of getting a max combat could be making use of the Combat Quarterly books from 1.6 and just buying a bunch from the Traveling Cart because I learned she can sell an infinite number for 8000 g so it’s technically possible just for a bunch of money…
Could you get a slime hutch then kill ten of them then you could enter the adventures guild without having any ep?

I encountered a bug where i don't have any profession selected on my lvl 10 mining skill and i wasn't be able to change it again because there's no mining option in the sewer statue. thanks!

They don't do enough damage for it to be worth it
The thorns ring doesn't count towards monster eradication goals so maybe they don't give xp

@@BlaDeSDV What I meant is that you kill the slime and complete the quest, then go to the skull caverns and craft the monster musk with the slime and bat wings while in there in the same day.

@@howdenking the bomb crafting recipes come from mining levels, right? mega bombs may be out of the running because they require monster drops, but the other two will work just fine.
