    Man those look so much better.

      Thanks! It feels so much better driving at night when your lights are bright. The light bars are pretty much overkill, but the rear one comes in handy a lot.

      @@GotterAdventure light bars are especially good for spotting deer on the side of the road. I use them for driving at night to spot eyes

    Great video 👍 thanks. I have the same philosophy when it comes to lights on the trail, the brighter the better!

    I like those headlights and wow those fogs really throw the light out to the side really well!
    I bet your neighbors were wondering why it got daylight again all of a sudden when you turned on that rear light bar!😂
    I need to do some lighting upgrades. My headlights are faded out bad, I just keep buffing the lenses.

      That is funny! Having good lights makes a really big difference driving the back country roads.

    On my 07 pilot I have a combination of led’s and halogen. Led’s for daylight, front side maker, high beams, interior but most importantly reverse since my pilot has a factory back up camera and it’s much brighter now.
    I did tried Leds for the low beams for a while but couldn’t adjust them to a satisfying beam pattern, also noticed that with the h11 halogen I could see better farther away. Another observation I experienced is that during snow & ice situations the halogen’s melted the snow, ice and I could see better while driving in bad weather.
    I will definitely install amber leds on the fog lights, thank you for sharing the video and I hope your son is doing better.

      I tried a basic H11 LED for low beam in the projector and it wasn't bright, so I swapped them into the fog lights and bough some "brighter" LED bulbs for the low beam and they are definitely brighter. Better than halogen, but not a whole lot. Previously I had Phillip HIDs (were $400 back in 2007) and they were much brighter than halogen. One thing with LEDs is the 6000K white colour isn't as good on a rainy dark night with black pavement. That's where then more powerful 4300K HIDs shone.

    what kind of headlight housing do you have?

    • @GotterAdventure
      @GotterAdventure  Год назад +1

      I bought "ACANII" clear lens/ black housing assemblies off of Amazon. They are already peeling and cracking. I don't recommend.

    You are using LEDs as high beams? Do you have DRL that use the high beams, and if yes, any issues?

    • @GotterAdventure
      @GotterAdventure  8 месяцев назад

      I am using led high beams. First gen Pilots have daytime running lights that are separate of the high beams

    • @schifoso
      @schifoso 8 месяцев назад

      @@GotterAdventure I have a first gen (2007) Pilot and it uses the high beam for DRL. I tried a 9005 LED bulb and it didn't work for DRL but worked when the light switch was turned on. ☹️
      Which bulb does your Pilot use for DRL?
