I really don't know what I should do. I am Windows user many years but i wanted the macbook so badly after I saw how smooth videoediting is on the macbook pro. What do you recommend for a photographer and videographer. Should I stay with windows that I already know or should i give a try with a macbook pro with a m2 pro (max) chip inside?

Give mac a try you might like it. Macbooks are better machines than the widnows equiveland. I like them very bad as well but dont like the mac os. Give them a try though my friend, not liking the mac os is not that usual.
I was a windows user for my entire life, up until I bought an m1 MacBook when it first came out. Fell in love instantly with how clean the Mac experience is. Ended up upgrading to the M1 Max and haven’t looked back. The combination of build quality, battery life and performance is superior to windows laptops. Oh, and by the way, I also use the laptop for photo and video editing.
@Techfluencer the OS is nice but very limited in space. New software and plugins and libraries take up space Not upgradeable RAM OR SDD. IT feels ok. It's very thin. Charges fast even from usb-c. The touch strip isn't standard

MacBook Pro's are amazing for creators like you.
However, it will take time to get used to it as you haven't tried MacOS before.

It completely depends on your preference.
I have both. I just hate windows. It runs like crap. The surface equipment is great. The glass is real premium. It is really heavy. It is brighter.

Agreed.
Battery life matters a lot as most people will be using them while on the go.
And the speed goes way down on the Windows machine, while it doesn't on the McBook. Plus the noise of the fans is insane on Windows laptops.
