Having made the masala before, I can attest that it is outstanding. Better than restaurant quality and everyone will want to know just how you pulled it off. It goes great with any protein and vegetable combination, though I found the coriander to be somewhat overly dominant, and recommend reducing by half.
For the first one I substituted coconut milk with fresh cream and paparika and cayenne pepper with Kashmiri chilli powder and spicy Indian chilli powder. Turned out to be great! Relished it with Malabar parata and it was tooo awesome. Thanks for the recipe ❤

Thanks to you, Wil, I'm now 90% vegan with a bit of veggie/dairy/eggs and the occasional seafood. Sometimes I'll have some chicken wings if I'm out and had a few beers. But not very much these days. Love your tofu recipes - that tofu masala is one of my main stays - thank you!!

Those recipes look great, just remember to remove the stems, the seeds and veins before you tost them (all of that stuf, majes them a bit bitter), you can also pass them through hot oil, just a couple of seconds, trust me i know what im talking about, but everything else looks soo good! Thank you for sharing!

My favorite way of cooking which I have been making since 12 yrs or so for Tofu is Tofu Burji! Recipe: Follow the recipe of Paneer Burji, just substitute it with crumbled extra firm Tofu 😋

OMG !!! The chili did it for me. I went crazy ! You actually made "chili with beans" (the lentils). Just a side of rice or a piece of baguette and have at it !!!
One can sauté with water & aqua faba (the liquid in a can of chickpeas…strain the liquid from the can into a jar with a little water & use in lieu of oil.
Ha!! Ha!!! Masala Tofu is one of my favourites. But I didn't know the right way of cooking. Definitely this will be on my dinner table today. Thanks Wil 👍 😊

Love it. I've made it with Lao Gan Ma and it works. For extra protein add tofu to the chickpeas and mushrooms mix (or chicken for omnivores).

What brand is the extra firm tofu that you use? I usually use Mori-Nu, but it's not anywhere as dry as what you have.
