Last time we checked in with Age of Sigmar lore it was very mid - does it continue to be unimpressive or have things changed?

Definition of a dead channel (cause a lot of people don't seem to understand) : A channel which has seen a massive reduction (90%+) of views and new subscribers since their peak with no genuine chance of recovery.
A dead channel isn't a bad channel, it just means the audience is no longer interested in their content.
the drop in views also has to do with making less content, because of real life issues and general burnout, so it’s a bit disingenuous to say it’s because of disinterest. you should know RUclips algorithm is hard, and moreso people forget quickly. So when they aren’t given the content as often as he was putting it out years prior, viewership will drop off naturally, as well as its display to other viewers outside subs
If this video gets 50k likes, majorkill has to call his first son Sigvald!
Stop standing upsidedown. Get on the right side. -O
Ayn suggestion on which books to start with ???
Hey Majorkill. Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, The Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Thank you.
If it's any consolation if you started making AoS lore videos you would instantly become the largest AoS RUclipsr
and the only
@@polmMM-uk1rz +2 Tough does a pretty good job but I think Majorkill would overtake him.
Majorkill would shit talk a brick wall to death
That's not saying much tho no offense to 2+ tough
Hahaha
Throwing your hammer at a guy only for Tzeentch to open a portal and you lose it does sound pretty hilarious yes
Tzeentch be doing a little Trolling
Wulfgar in Forgotten Realms would just Laugh and recall his Hammer. Aegis Fang would come back, eventually...likely after he ripped his enemies apart limb by limb.
Sounds very much like a cartoon scene. Bonus points if another portal opened, the hammer flies out, and hits the person who threw it in the head.
Man, don't mess with 2+Tough Doug, he's been spreading AOS lore on his own with hard work and love for the game, he's a cool dude.
A dead channel doesn’t mean they make poor content or aren’t involved in the community, it just means they have seen a massive reduction in views and new subscribers from their peak. The point wasn’t that Doug makes poor content but that community interest in Age of Sigmar lore isn’t there
@@SG-pp7kq It IS a reply that explains it all.

I like that the AoS lore evolves and changes the setting (e.g. blowing up one of the 9 towers of Tzeench, the Necroquake, Teclis beating Nagash...) while the 40K lore kind of stagnates after the fall of Cadia. The Nachmund gauntlet is constantly in peril, but nothing changes. The Silent King returns, but nothing really changes galaxy-wide. Guilliman returns and brings the primaris....but nothing major changes.
My favorite bit about Slaanesh breaking out was how it was canonically easily avoidable, but all of the gods couldn’t agree to get their shit together and fix Slaanesh’s cosmic jail, so here we are. Reminds me of 40K a bit, honestly, where everything would be so much better if only people were sensible.
", where everything would be so much better if only people were sensible."
Fiction has a way of mimicking real life.
How? They don't even know its a problem. Slaanesh hides any damage to the prison through literally god tier level illusions to disguise her efforts to escape. As far as everyone can tell, the prison is functioning perfectly.
i dont want this though. i dont want AOS to turn into 40k but smaller scale. i liked fantasy where yes the gods fought but there was still general agreement on fighting certain people.
what i dislike about 40k is almost no one likes to team up or make agreements. there are exceptions, but thats the thing: exceptions. in fantasy pretty much every group outside chaos and the skaven/beastmen (and even then a few instances of agreements did exist). even the literal undead mummy faction was still sentient and could be reasoned with, even if settra was arrogant. it was much more like real life, in how while elves, dwarves, humans and their sub factions competed with eachother but still could agree on certain things. 40k just has everyone hate eachother
Thats the problem with AOS, everything looks like 40k
“All Stormcast Eternals strike quickly, but none more so than the Knights of the Aurora.” - Sigmar
As much as I hate that Fantasy had to die for this, I’d be willing to give Age of Sigmar a chance. I also hope it doesn’t repeat the mistakes of 40k
what mistakes are we talking here? Is it about the table top
@@nandotnt5678 also not everything being about spesssss marines
@@nandotnt5678 Let's see, where do you want me to begin? How about I go over how in 40K the supposed 'BIG BADGUY WHO LEADS CHAOS' is regularly hyped up as a massive threat despite failing all the time, there's a nonstop fixation on space marines to the point where you might as well ask why the other factions even exist at this point (seriously, just when the fuck did 40K go from trying to be the grimmest and darkest of all grimdark to acting like it was Space Marine 40K!?), or the Imperium not starting to break in spite of its RIDICULOUSLY massive list of problems and all the enemies it made, OR the fact that the gods that aren't Chaos-aligned do practically nothing helpful by default!?
Contrast this to Age of Sigmar, where the following happens: its posterboy faction actually loses as much as it wins (40K Space Marines win all the time by default unless they're with Chaos), the other factions besides Chaos DO SOMETHING beyond being stuck as glorified punching bags, the gods opposed to Chaos in this setting actually DO SOMETHING beyond being either a shattered mess whose avatars get killed all the time or a test subject for Nurgle's latest plague or an oversized clown OR the operator of the setting's largest lighthouse, need I say more?
2+Tough Channel is not dead at all. He continues to cover AoS lore constantly in a very enjoyable way and even branched out into other games like Conquest. Not sure what gave you your impression of him Majorkill.
Because he doesn't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers, like this was the only thing that mattered
It’s not dead, but he only gets around 5k views per vid, which isn’t really high for RUclips, it’s a great channel but unfortunately to the algorithm, it’s “dead”, years of warhammer recommendations on RUclips and never have I gotten his vids, sad really
A dead channel doesn’t mean they make poor content or aren’t involved in the community, it just means they have seen a massive reduction in views and new subscribers from their peak. The point wasn’t that Doug makes poor content but that community interest in Age of Sigmar lore isn’t there
@@majorkill Got it, that makes sense. It's true that AoS lore is very niche, but at least the people that care about it, like Doug, are very passionate and positive about it, which is how I got into it:)
Really nice of you to have such a nuanced view of it. I've really been enjoying this setting recently, especially the small stories provided in every battletome!
Especially the Age of Chaos lore can be incredibly interesting and dark
Lore has been good for a few years now and honestly it's better then 40k at this point. Many of the characters are as good and we actually get to see most of the different races and factions. 40k by this point is the imperium screaming "For the Emperor" for the millionth time while all none imperim races are either an after thought or forgotten completely .
You should totally start doing AoS videos again, I’d love to learn more about the setting.
I hated the end times. Honestly. But overall the realms of Nagash and the factions of Chaos made a lot of sense.
And the Stormcast Eternals being functionally Immortal makes for some interesting storytelling.
Now its more an interesting storyline.
Age of Sigmar gave me more Be'Lakor, therefore it has improved infinitely.
The new lore for Chaos and the Varanguard beginning to question Archaon after his meltdown is cool.
Basically I'm keeping up with AoS as long as Belakor and Teclic remain. So far I've not had many new characters actually catch my interest
Would love to see more aos videos from you! Check the new lore for goblins and the aos exclusive slaanesh demons.
For the umpteenth time that Laird scheme is exactly that. It is a token, you don’t own the land it’s just a novelty. A single acre in Scotland can go for 5000 pound this is a cute little gift but it’s not real
2+tough is ace!
AOS is good warcry is my favourite GW game highly recommended
I’ve been waiting for a new video!
Majorkill could I suggest you do a whole series where you go as far back into fantasy lore and gradually work your way through the timeline
Majorkill is like gw, started off with fantasy but now focuses on 40k
Give it 30 ish years and we should be fine
Bro not my boy Doug!!! great guy making super fun content. his lore breakdowns are better than most. AOS is a solid game way better place than 40k give it a try playing AOS makes you love AOS.
AoS is interesting, but my least favourite change is all Destruction gods are just GorkaMorka, Orges deserved better. Lore that I want to know more of is Lizardmen no basically being Order Demons and TheGreatHornedRat I’d now a full Chaos god.
Oh they sorta changed how Lizardmen are. There's two different kinds of Lizardmen.
The Starborne who are basically Lizardmen supercharged on Azyrite Magic and the Coalesced who are the more classic Lizardmen who've colonized Temple Cities in the Mortal Realms and created mini Lustrias.
I recently got into AoS and it’s been pretty fun
I would personally love some aos lore explained by an ozzy
I be honest I been watching some RUclips gamers playing AOS and I been enjoying. Would you consider a lore serious for aos
AOS has sick ass models and the new lore is really nice. Also, the game feels less bloated and all factions really play different compared to 40k.
Love it honestly. Been playing for two years and was a 15 years 40k vet prior and It's by far my favourite now.

Hey Majorkill. Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, The Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Thank you.
2+ is fantastic and got me onto the AoS scene loving this game and lore.
Comparing AoS to 40k is like comparing Allblacks to Aussie Union rugby there is no comp one is a titan being built and perfected for years the other is a fresh project because the last team was fucking shit
My first aos lore! Almost clicked the old video!!
My friends dont play or know fuck all about 40k, let alone the fantasy version. They think vermintide is in the new setting and having to explain how its diffrent isnt something i am willing to do tbh...
Ngl I actually really like 2+ tough's channel
G'day back to ya from the gal who watches your channel.
I think Age of Sigmar Chaos is way better than 40k Chaos cause 40k Chaos can take a few planets or systems but it just ends up being irrelevant. Age of Sigmar Chaos can win a few battles and have the Chaos Wastes advance ever closer and is an actual existential threat.

Same title. New three second video idea. Just the word “no”

The problem is it doesn't hold a candle to the setting it tried to replace: Fantasy.

Do you think I could get them to punch me in the face? I'm kinda into that.
2+ Tough I’d say has one very important contribution to the AoS community: He was there when there was very few to truly appreciate the potential of the setting in those early days. Like a lonely gardener tending to an under-appreciated and barely living seedling, hoping it would one day bear fruit. His style and presentation radiated both a sense of patience and enthusiasm that I hadn’t really encountered in a lore channel, knowing the setting’s limitations but still giving it a chance. Without his videos, I probably wouldn’t have been interested at all.
Agree. It's actually really fun to play as well. Wish it was bigger
@shlomogoldstein3373 its right behind 40k. Meaning its the second largest wargaming community which is massive.
40k just gets more fandom because its waaay older. It also has heaps of neckbeards and losers who only play pc games and wanna pretend they are part of the wargaming or hobby.
So you get a huge inflation of fans who are secondary fans who read free pdf, play cheap games and listen to free audio on RUclips.
Anyways the aos community is amazing, im glad its not mainstream like 40k, fastest way to ruin something is inviting losers to the table.
Doug is the shit man always needs yo have a place in this tabletop community.
2+tough is not a dead channel. The guy is really chill and branches out on other wargames like Conquest (must recommend). He is a cool guy!

Big missed opportunity for AoS lore: Sigmar should’ve sent 40,000 of his Stormcast after his hammer. That way they really could be the Warhammer 40k.
How many did he sent?
My favorite lore moment is when the Skaven accidentally drained an ocean into their capital city/home dimension and ended up killing half their race in a single day. Not just for the sheer craziness of that sentence, but the fact that its not even noteworthy by AoS standards. In WFB, it took the literal end of the world to get anything like that happening. In AoS, something like that is just a foot note in another army's lore section. Absolutely hilarious!🤣🤣🤣
That sounds bad... some things are just not reasonable
@@ExceedProduction Meaning what?
Oh, it gets even better; the water was full of feral zombies and attacked the Skaven, Thanquol was involved, _and_ it alerted Nagash to the existence of the Idoneth Deepkin, royally screwing them over to.

I love how they evolved the stormcast, from boring AF to deep and multi faceted, like their models it only got better and better.
The fact that anyone with a pure heart and courage can become a storm cast no matter their occupation is what made them become better (to me) than the space marines, they're not just legendary warriors, they're the best of humanity in general, a baker who kept making food for the soldiers and the people to the very end and died after the defenses fell could become a storm cast, a noble lady who offered sanctuary to civilians can also become a storm cast, you don't have to be a great fighter or a fighter at all to become a storm cast, you just have to be a genuinely good person with the courage to do the right thing, i love it.
Still going to avoid it, it’s still a cluster f+uck. We are also missing factions from the old world which is stupid.
@@arcahmwinters70 that adds to the depth honestly, it keeps the grimdark atmosphere, it's a sad tragedy in it's own right, which makes them even more heroic while they're keeping their humanity.
I hope they add some storm cast that have the force of will to keep hanging on despite dying many times, like in dark souls.
@@Alex-pj8nz give them time, at the very beginning 40k lore was hilariously bad, it got good with decades of novels, editions and retcons, the necron are the most recent example.
Expecting aos to be anything other than a cluster fuck now is just unfair.
@@Alex-pj8nz get over it, they will come, you didn't have squat on 40k for years and I see no bitching.
If you are doing to continue the AOS content please do a "age of sigmar grand alliances explained by an Australian" they are quite fantamental to the core beliefs of the factions that make them up and would be both easy and necessary to analyze for people to understand some things that happen in the lore
Indeed. It’s important for newcomers to realize that each grand alliance isn’t a cohesive or unified front, but rather loose coalitions that occasionally work together. Order might seem like obvious good guys, but each faction often butts heads with supposed Allies over fundamental disagreements. Chaos is always fighting amongst themselves as the Dark Gods play their Great Game. Destruction has constant battles of supremacy of who’s the biggest and baddest. Death might seem the most cohesive, where all answer to the will of Nagash, but even they are fractured by their differences
Careful establishedtitles is total scam
PancreasNoWork does occasionally cover AoS factions with his do or don't series and honestly the lore for them now seems sick. Makes me kinda interested in trying it out
I think AoS lore is really good at the moment
Dynasty of Monsters for an example is an excellent book even if you are not into warhammer so for a warhammer book it is pretty fucking good
Also i love morathi even tho she a bitch

and as to why AoS has a lot of Fantasy Characters well it's WFB fan service, tho in my opinion it does work well
I’d be interested in more AOS videos, cause I’m a huge WFB fan and I struggle getting into AOS cause I just don’t get it. What are the realms? Where are the factions? Why do they fight?
The realms are like the worlds of ygdrassil and for the other questions look at a faction aestetic and then delve deeper to their lore
They don’t explain where the Mortal Realms came from, but the factions fight for the same reasons as other Warhammer titles: conquest, survival, or because they want to fight.
Thank you all for the replies, though now I have more questions. Does a realm have defined borders? Like planets? Or are they just warp spaghetti geographically? Can people travel from realm to realm easily or is it a hassle? Also can a normal human live in the metal or fire realm? They sound inhospitable. This is the issue I have cause it’s fairly easy to grasp 40K or WFB. AOS less so
ruclips.net/video/zJLMRNg_NpY/видео.html This guy is good for that, but really inconsistent with posting on YT.
@@Evan-qn2cj aos is for certain a much more alien setting than wfb and 40k.
The realms can be of varoius shapes(spherical, flat, ecc)however those aligned with the winds of magic are usually flat. They also are 5x the size of whb, most of them are unexplored exept some continents. There are edges to them that goes into seemengly infinite energies of that realm(which are deadly for all mundane creatures.
Normally speaking the only way to leave a realm is to use a planar portal, really big portals linked to another realm , or to use a lizardman pyramid ship/tzeencian silver tower/any other veicles who can traverse the magic energies at the edges. After that there is a void like space made of pure and undefined magic, like space, to travel before reaching another destination , like the eigth points( the spherical remains of wfb under the control of chaos) or a chaos realm.
Established titles is a scam.

Stormcast reforge was flawed since the start, there were many ways for them lose their soul and dont come back to Azyr. That only got worse
Morathi herself ascended to Morathi-Khaine
Warhammer Fantasy was grimdark? why? AoS can be grimdark if you want to. In any case, grimdark doesnt mean good.
I recommend the following novels to getting started in AoS:
Dominion, Gloomspite, All the Aos Gotrek novels, Hallowed Knights,
I've personally really enjoyed AoS. Especially how the split up the Chaos factions and literally everything they have done with Death. Every Death faction has baller fucking models and cool lore to them.
I like Age of Sigmars story now. I think its world building still needs some work to make the realms feel as cool as their concept, but the cities of Sigmar are pretty interesting so far. Just need more set places in the world with fleshed out lore.
Some Good places to start on AOS lore are obviously the Core Rulebook 3rd and the Soulbound RPG or online AOS lexicanum. My favorite novels I think are great starting places include:
Spear of Shadows: Great entry point into the world (my first novel :)
City of Secrets: First Witch hunter story of the setting. Its sequal is "The Silver Shard"
Gloomspite: You'll never laugh at a Grot ever again, or you might but you'll definitely respect them more
Soulwars: Ground level at the beginning of the Soul Wars
Nagash the Undying King: Backstory on chaos conquering the underworlds, fun.
Plague Garden and its Sequal Black Pyramid: Will likely make you like Stormcast.
Covens of Blood: Anthology book on Daughters of Khaine, some very good stuff in there.
Court of the Blind King: Idoneth Deepkin novel, basically a political thriller. And shows off Deepkin, there kinda like Dark Eldar, but not as big of assholes.
There are tons more novels these are just my personal favourites so far.
p.s. Yeah Majorkill I think you would kill it with AOS lore videos, I feel the setting has expanded enough to warrant regular videos. And as for 2+tough I wouldn't consider him dead yet, but I do agree his format is growing a little stale, other lore videos ( like HeyWoah for instance) can definitely make AOS lore videos with better success shows that just repeating basic information like out of a Textbook isn't really needed as much with so many more options on AOS lore now. However I still think 2+Tough can turn it around eventually but I think a change up to video style is needed.

yeah your old vids were kinda cringe, although i miss timmy hopefully Sigma respawns him.
Honestly though, AOS models and the 3rd edition game play are really good. I'd rather play 3rd AOS over 9th 40k.
I personally love Age of Sigmar.
Its frankly got better and more interesting lore than 40K these days. I feel that the reboot has done the setting so much good, as GW can focus on better story telling. for example, because there is so much lore for 40K these days, storylines get put forward and then totally forgotten about. Ynnari and Aeldari anyone?
Sure, was the start to AOS terrible? definitely, however since 2nd ed its had the time to breathe and actually establish the setting going forward. And I think this is only going to get better with the introduction of Malarion and other factions.
For me at lleast, 40K has become stagnent and the Imperium never really seem to take any massive hits, they only seem to be bable to come back with more powerful retalitory moves that improves their "power" Primaris for example.
in conlclusion I would say you should definitely read as much lore of AOS as you can, good sources include the Soulbound RPG from Cubicle 7. i'd love it if you could post more of it on the channal. :)
I love 2+ tough, he's been a steadfast pillar in AoS and helped me fall in love with the world and start my army. I love his commentary on the stories and how he expands on what they showcase and the genuine appreciation he has for it. I'd love to see you work with him and help pump up his channel. The more enriched and cooperative the WH creators are the better, and AoS could definitely use more brotherhood with it's sibling settings haha. Please don't give 2+ the OneMind treatment haha hes a great dude.
Ya I watch him all the time
Age of Sigmar being really good can only benefit the Warhammer franchise so I hope it grow even more.
Day 30 of asking for a video on Perpetuals in Warhammer 40k and their current locations and status.
@Joe Bennett Stop doing the "stop doing" thing nobody cares that you're not loved
I miss ye olde days of 40K 2nd edition when Sigmar was pretty clearly Primarch #2.
I will say this Majorkill. AOS is better then 40k in lore simply it's more clearer and understanding. You got actual good guys while you have other questionable allies of Order.
I like the Idoneth deepkin simply of their Tragic story that their faction is Godless. They worship the Sea God before Slaneesh killed him ( permanently)
Why would you say that 2+tought channel is dead?
He made 3 lore videos this month and all were around 3k views.
AOS is just smaller, but bigger than the lore videos about blood bowl.
Would be great to see some AOS vids about some general faction lore in here from time to time. AOs is really doing well lateley with the lore, it is moving forward and is much more cohesive than it once was that is for sure. And the game itself is neat Af!
Tbh, wouldn't mind hearing about less sci-fi topics on your channel. This doesn't mean I don't watch every video you make these days, but it would be nice to have more varried topic.
The biggest turn off for me, its boring, I prefer normal everyday dues fighting massive monsters then Gods vs Gods. That isn't interesting to me as mortal men fighting tooth and nail just to survive.
Age of Sigmar has been about more than gods vs gods since the launch of 2nd edition, the Cities of Sigmar, where the average human, dwarf and elf live has been the focal point of pretty much every major story since 2018, I mean the average joes are literally about to get a full on model overhaul in the coming months with the dawn-bringer crusades.
I live the AoS models, the lore is as you said, foundational... I think it's got good potential for stories if they just fleshed the world a little more... I just like how there's seemingly less unity between the order factions in this setting, as they rip eachother apart as Chaos actually feels more powerful than in 40k... but thats all opinion😅
For me, the age of sigmar game is super fun I just don't really like the setting because it feels like there's no space for actual people to live there. Like I can't really imagine the story of a random person in age of sigmar compared to warhammer fantasy or 40k. It feels, more than the other GW settings, like it's just a big excuse for a tabletop game as opposed to a world I'm interested in seeing the stories of
@@thel33tpenguinftw40 yeah, I get that, I think GW ought to put some work in world building, which they've begun to go about slowly with the introduction of the Kruleboys. It's a relatively new world, I'd hope it would be a matter of time before we reach a point where details on anything and everything matches the other settings standard
Please make more AoS stuff, I really love it now but the lack of RUclips content for it is annoying. Maybe I should make some AoS RUclips stuff myself lol
Damn you didn‘t have to do 2+ tough like that
He is boring to listen and even less entertaining to watch.
@@MarkoFTW idk he got me into it. He for sure is no major kill entertainment but at least informative
@@arcahmwinters70 I am not a lore youtube. And I have every right to dislike the entertainer. For me, he fails in both educating and entertaining. Reading a 4chan thread is more fun than him. But that is just my perception.
@@axcel9128 To each his own.
A dead channel doesn’t mean they make poor content or aren’t involved in the community, it just means they have seen a massive reduction in views and new subscribers from their peak. The point wasn’t that Doug makes poor content but that community interest in Age of Sigmar lore isn’t there
Honestly everything started getting better at the start of the soul wars, also slaanesh unfortunately didn't break free but had enough wiggle room to spit a literal child of itself across the realms essentially creating 2 (for some reason it became 2) demi chaos gods in the mortal realms (real space for 40k people).
No
I don't care what anyone says I love where AoS is at I hope it continues to grow
The models are good though
AoS is in an amazing state, and I would like it to stay as such or keep getting better.
@Joe Bennett Stay bitter, no one cares about your increasingly shrinking echo chamber.
@Joe Bennett Nothing like a good bit of pig ignorance
@PhoenixLord777 it's good man give it a chance!
I absolutely adore the Kharadron Overlords! Also the Books are amazing adventure tales, may it be with Drekki Flynt or Brokrin Ullisson, they are in my opinion a really good read. Also they use „Gatling Guns“ and Bombs in a fantasy setting d(^_^)
2+Tough is a great channel, sir 🎩 It is not dead.

@@majorkill sick copypasta but AoS lorechannels aren't dead by any means, the aos community doesn't have as many drama whales like you and gamza though.
@@majorkill so many copy and paste responses..
I hope this video makes people give AOS a chance.
Can't do it
Sigmar Marines are just too much.
The setting is just far too watered down
@Joe Bennett Then how come you're here?
@@adrienwatson2179 the sigmarines looking like they belong on a power metal album is ‘too watered down’ for you?
@@anironfarm6056 Dont get me wrong
The models are absolutely gorgeous.
Im contemplating picking some up.. just to paint and display, no arguments from me there.
Im talking about a lore perspective only, sorry, should have clarified that.
@@adrienwatson2179 when you compare a game that's only been around for half a decade to two sibling/predecessors that have been around longer than a good chunk of their fans have been alive, the lore feeling watered down is inevitable. Give it time, they've cast a wide net for narrative representation and now just need time for it to sink deep. Most AOS factions have or are close to having as many novels as some of 40ks underrepresented xenos, which is wild to think about but does show a commitment to wanting to flesh out the world relatively evenly instead of going hard on the poster boys like they did on release.
I’d enjoy seeing the Majorkill take on an overview of each of the AoS factions. Would be a refreshing reprieve from a lot of speculatory 40K content we get right now (don’t get me wrong I enjoy that too).

Majorkill: " I will LOOK for you. I will FIND you....and I will PAINT you."
I"m a fan of 2+ Tough...I guess I'm the one keeping it on life support. I also like his videos on Necromunda
AoS still has gotrek that is enough for me to like it
What i like is the depth extends to other factions, not just the order "protagoninsts". I mean, chaos is in the midst of a civil war between archaon and belakor, the destuction factions and kragnos are being tricked by gobsprakk to further his own goals, and death, while basically united behind nagash, has proven to be a downright nightmarish opponent when they decide to fight.
The thing AoS has over fantasy in my opinion is that I feel fantasy never had any real stakes, major cities never really got touched or taken over and all the named characters stay the same, in broken realms two major cities got destroyed or completely changed civilizations and one of the major characters of the story actually ascended to godhood
