I think there's a great video idea that Majorkill hasn't taken advantage of yet. "How were the Psykers of each legion treated?" It's be interesting to see how each legion treated their librarians or what specialized warp spells or powers each legion utilizes.
They're able to make more bodies, just not more engram consciousnesses to go into them. Hence why cryptek constructs are so important, and why each necron from amongst the original created that dies is a significant loss. Unless they were able to store it in the necron equivalent of the cloud, the engram consciousness is lost forever

Non-aligned daemons (and some minor Warp gods) are created all the time from ideas or clumps of specific emotion that gather and ferment in the warp until they hit critical mass and shit out a new daemon whose theme matches the idea or emotion that birthed them. A great example of this is Drach'nyen, who was born from the emotions and screams of the first human murderer and his first victim. Because he was born from an act of ultimate betrayal and murder, he was really fucking good at killing shit, even managing to stab the Big E Himself. In retaliation, the Emperor bound Drach'nyen to the form of a sword, and sent Ra Endymion off to keep him out of Chaos' grubby tentacles. Death Korps of Krieg aren't identical clones. Current lore points towards their Vitae Wombs tech being just that... artificial wombs. In Amongst Dead Men it talks about how rejected Kriegers aren't allowed to offer up their genetic material unlike regular ones. Whatever 'offering' means. Also the newest codex implies Kriegers are both men and women with the line, "...the men and woman of Krieg are a breed apart..."
so basically graduates of the Krieg Speedrun Academy of war got their genetic material collected for the next generation, while the rejects that are kicked out of the gene pool are then relegated to the war forges of Krieg, stuck in their planet doing menial work never to absolve themselves in combat and death.
Also, it was mentioned that the Tau also create fire warriors by using artificial wombs Krieg style however this is probably done only when they need to buster their numbers quickly. They also give birth in litters and a female can give birth up to 6 babies in a short amount of time
I have read most Tau lore out there (they are my primary faction) have never found that the Tau give birth to litters or more than 1 at a time. The closest I've read so far is Farsights vision of Tau dominated by Chaos, in which a mildly graphic sequence of a birth happens, and for all appearances of that scene, the Tau are indeed like cows or horses, being born with their protective sacs. Another lore regarding this is the book Shadowsun: Last of the line of Kyriu. During that entire book, Shadowsun is shown a future where se retires and has a son (singular) it was heavily implied that that child would be her only one ever. The Tau do have a breeding program, primarily for the Fire caste. It states, that Tau females cannot be deployed until they have had at least one child and that male ones similarly aren't deployed until they have fathered at least 1 child, this is to maintain the genetic diversity of the caste alive and maintain a stable population, especially since they are the caste most likely to die.

Speaking of death korps, there's a trilogy about it (may or may not be canon at this point), in book 1, every krieg trooper gets a ration card (food, drink, his wage included on it) and a girl (around same age) for above mentioned purposes, if there's a child, that girl becomes his wife and they are supported thru said ration card once he deploys (our mc does become a father bcs ofc), and he's notified if said thing occurs. Will they ever get back krieg alive to spend time with family is altogether different story (the drill instructor mc and his buddy train under is a veteran so it could be possible). Minor spoiler for mc (jachim) and the buddy, they suffer a fate worse than death (krieg-wise :P) - they get promoted to commisarial aides.
In one of the novels that deal with the Civil War on krieg, it's extremely heavily implied that the Magos Biologis on the loyalist side set up baby factories in which everyone is a clone of the loyalist leader, or maybe he's just the father of everyone on krieg. An inquisitor thinks the kriegers must all be mutants cuz they never take their rebreathers off, but when she looks at their faces, they're all identical blonde teenagers.
Next video idea: If one of the Chaos Gods decides to somehow join forces with the Imperium against the other Chaos Gods, who would it be, why and how would it affect the current setting?
Slaanesh and Tzeentch are the only two capable of moderating themselves enough to be acceptable for the outlying Imperium worlds. These moderate factions would likely go by false identities and provide protection from mutation and Psyker burnout in exchange for enough secret worship to grow their influence and reduce their counterparts.
Consider that the Emperor is essentially a Chaos God, and Living Saints are his Greater Daemons... and this is canon, too. The warp isn't just a place filled with great evil, it just happens that dark / evil emotions happen to be the most prevalent emotions fuelling it as there's an abundance of them in the 40K universe. There are many lesser Gods and daemons that would be benevolent, they're just weak and insignificant in relation to the Big Four. The "God Emperor" never wanted to be styled as such, but in sacrificing himself sealed his fate and has become a lasting, growing presence in the warp. Living Saints manifest in times of great need and are essentially the same thing as a Greater Daemon, but formed from the collective worship, hope and fury of mankind focused on a single point. Whether they're still the individuals they were in life, and require a strong enough gathering of emotions to pull them out of the warp and into realspace, I don't know. I just know they fuck shit up when they appear.
You should have mentioned about Cadia - because of war death toll they have special breeding program in order insure birth rate. This was mentioned in one novel.
MajorKill has been chomping at the bit for years waiting to do this video. It's got WH 40k lore and aliens bonking in their weird little ways. Guys in his element. 👋
Me being like "Good thing that Daemonculaba wasn't mentioned since i watch this video after eating food during a break, yes i am at work while listening to this video but it's break time so no worries.".
The Necrons needs to figure out how to duplicate an engram and download it into a new body. The Overlords probably wouldn't do this (ego being a limiting factor) but taking a warrior-engram and duplicating it seems like a no-brainer, if the Technomancers are so inclined
@@silver1340 Its what mind-uploads are called (the brain translated into a computer program). Tau can also make engrams, and it is what the Necron personalities are. Engram-degradation over time is the Necron's biggest threat in fact.
@@RainbowDevourer In that case, I did find a trace of what you're suggesting in lore, albeit a bit of a stretch. Necrons are a very prideful race, and as you suggested, they wouldn't find duplicating one's mind very favorable. They DID make AI personalities of important Necrontyr - philosophers and such - which inhabit the same bodies, and as far as I know they don't suffer from mental degradation. But that's the catch: they were IMPORTANT people of history, not just your average Joe. So maybe they took the path of "Me and my people will take death before tarnishing our traditions (and strict protocols of AI creation)!" AKA achieve an impressive feat to be immortalized forever more as AI.
Video idea: How would each Primarch react and rule the imperium, if they were the one to return first instead of Guilliman The Crusade Never Ends Brothers!
Guess: Lion-enforce law, order, and purge heretics Sanguinius-Goes to Dante and helps him Vulkan-He'd probably turn the imperium noblebright Corvus Corax-I don't know, I guess he's pretty good at strategising Ferrus Manus-Hed hang around the Mechanicus(and probably Dorn, idk) Clonegrim(That's a Fulgrim clone created by Fabius Bile that's completely uncorrupted)-He'd also make the Imperium a better place Magnus(if he ever decides to become loyalist again)-This is the best choice and the best option. Magnus could sit on the Golden Throne instead of the Emperor, letting the emperor regenerate
Since the Chaos' gods like to mess with each other I see hilariously obvious the "dick" move of Nurgle to just "share the blessings of the great father" with slaneshi cults and watch how they too share the blessings xD
Why do I feel like the reason the Aeldari have such a slow birth rate has something to do with their extreme emotions and that having sex would bring that out, hence calling Slaanesh. Which lead them to have a difficult and prolonged process to make sure an actual new birth can occur.
Are the Kriegsmen identical clones? I was under the impression they handle it similar to the mechanicum. By taht I mean they gather genetical material from healthy men and women and combine them in a testtube and grow that to almost adult size. That still would explain the numbers but avoid the issues of clone armies. That would also mean that everyone on krieg has several hundred children, genetically at least.
Dying between an Eldari woman's legs is a fate befitting of my choice of the Alpha Legion being my fav. Can't predict what I'll do, kill them, negotiate or bed them. It's a dangerous game
Whilst reading a short story, it is implied that not all of the Krieg are clones. During the story, you follow the view of a Kriegsman who didn't qualify to be a guardsmen and ends up being the cannon fodder fighting the graduating regiments' for their final test. At one point, he dwells on the reason as to why he wasn't able to serve. During this internal monolog, he goes over the reasons that could've contributed to his current role. One such being that even though he wasn't able to serve as a guardsmen, he also wasn't deemed capable of being a father. In another he also wonders if any of the troopers he's fighting would be faces he would recognize. So I believe that though cloning is employed, not all of the Kriegsmen are clones, or 100% identical. Quotes from "Down Amongst The Dead Men: by Steve Lyons "What had been lost, anyway? Just the lives of a few men who could never have been Korpsmen or fathers." "Did he wonder at all about the face behind those dark lenses? Did the young trooper ask himself if it might be a face he recognised?" Just my theory anyway lol
I had heard the reason for the gas masks was to hide the fact that the majority of the krieg are extremely young, like, late teens, maybe early twenties at most. And that makes sense to me, I wouldn't feel very scared being charged by a wave of zoomers when I can just woop out my 1990s politically incorrect slurs and watch them turn and run to find a safe space.
I'm not much of a Warhammer guy, played the RTS games back in the day. I was always curious how reproduction worked for some these species. Literally learned about the orkz a few months back. Hope one day majorkill makes a video about it
Honestly such a good suggestion! It's been a burning question on my mind too.
It would probably have to be on a range cause there were some weak ass space Marines and legitimate demi god tier space Marines.
he actually said it in the Shrek vs space marine video
The answer is "whatever the plot requires," lol.
I'm honestly amazed that he hasn't done this important lore video before.
Minor spoiler for mc (jachim) and the buddy, they suffer a fate worse than death (krieg-wise :P) - they get promoted to commisarial aides.
so they dont reproduce naturally?
...Huh, mention of Dark Eldar reproduction, now I have a morbid curiosity about what childhood for a Dark Eldar would be like?
Like the Addams Family, but without the lulz.

He'll take "Sentences that Automatically Get You Put on a Law Enforcement Registry" for $200, Alex
@@RichardX1 Yeah, definitely could have phrases the question better...
@@RCorvinusCan you please explain?
AFAIK, the death korps are more like vat grown humans, more than cloned ones (like how the leagues of votann do it)
In one of the novels that deal with the Civil War on krieg, it's extremely heavily implied that the Magos Biologis on the loyalist side set up baby factories in which everyone is a clone of the loyalist leader, or maybe he's just the father of everyone on krieg. An inquisitor thinks the kriegers must all be mutants cuz they never take their rebreathers off, but when she looks at their faces, they're all identical blonde teenagers.
so krieg dont use intercourse @@AliceBowie

The necrons have been doing no nut november for 60 million years honestly respect to the dedication.
But not because they want to, but because of choice (which they didn't have many) so your comment is invalid.

Don't say it aloud, or you'll be giving Brazzers ideas.
Next video idea:
If one of the Chaos Gods decides to somehow join forces with the Imperium against the other Chaos Gods, who would it be, why and how would it affect the current setting?
Slaanesh and Tzeentch are the only two capable of moderating themselves enough to be acceptable for the outlying Imperium worlds. These moderate factions would likely go by false identities and provide protection from mutation and Psyker burnout in exchange for enough secret worship to grow their influence and reduce their counterparts.
Tzeentch would do it just for the lols
@@jamesbrice3267 Definitely Tzeentch, as "moderating" oneself is as contrary to Slaanesh's teaching as you get. :P

How Eldar reproduce : They don't. They're like pandas. They only reproduce in the wild, and there are almost no pandas in the wild.

That new mini looks incredible! If only I knew about it before, I made an order just last week for kitten
The Necrons needs to figure out how to duplicate an engram and download it into a new body. The Overlords probably wouldn't do this (ego being a limiting factor) but taking a warrior-engram and duplicating it seems like a no-brainer, if the Technomancers are so inclined
What's "engram"? The only thing I found was a Tau brain-chip.
They make dumb ai as warriors not all necrons are sentient

Faith is our shield. For the EMPEROR!!!
Guess:
Lion-enforce law, order, and purge heretics
Sanguinius-Goes to Dante and helps him
Vulkan-He'd probably turn the imperium noblebright
Corvus Corax-I don't know, I guess he's pretty good at strategising
Ferrus Manus-Hed hang around the Mechanicus(and probably Dorn, idk)
Clonegrim(That's a Fulgrim clone created by Fabius Bile that's completely uncorrupted)-He'd also make the Imperium a better place
Magnus(if he ever decides to become loyalist again)-This is the best choice and the best option. Magnus could sit on the Golden Throne instead of the Emperor, letting the emperor regenerate

The Orks of ancient Terra
Now this is the lore im interested in.
Orks: When one Git is bestest enemies with another Git they krump and dakka each until you get more orks
Since the Chaos' gods like to mess with each other I see hilariously obvious the "dick" move of Nurgle to just "share the blessings of the great father" with slaneshi cults and watch how they too share the blessings xD
This must've been the best video to research
Yeah, I can't believe you haven't produced this particular video yet. Incredible really.
Human: "So... What gender are you?"
Ork: "WAAAAGH!"
Human: "No, like, what's in your pants?"
Ork: "DAKKA!"
My man decided that how aliens reproduce is more engaging than all of fantasy lore
Because it is
“How do they “do the deed””, meanwhile orks just die.
Lore says that they are test tube babies, but not necessarily clones
More likely, the average kriegsperson is made of a collection of frozen sperm and ovaries from serving kreigspeople
And sperm is collected from serving kreigsman routinely so they have both genetic diversity and don’t lose their numbers
Krieg was allowed to use massive vat factories to grow men by the Imperium, but they also just produce normally on their planet, so its a mix of both.
@@googleaccount4471 Vat grown dose not have to mean clones
Good to know. Now I know which races are capable of the *fun* kind of reproduction for later use once spacefaring becomes available.

Warhammer fans watching this are taking notes cuz they have no real life experience with it.
Define "real life".
Quotes from "Down Amongst The Dead Men: by Steve Lyons
"What had been lost, anyway? Just the lives of a few men who could never have been Korpsmen or fathers."
"Did he wonder at all about the face behind those dark lenses? Did the young trooper ask himself if it might be a face he recognised?"
Just my theory anyway lol
I had heard the reason for the gas masks was to hide the fact that the majority of the krieg are extremely young, like, late teens, maybe early twenties at most.
And that makes sense to me, I wouldn't feel very scared being charged by a wave of zoomers when I can just woop out my 1990s politically incorrect slurs and watch them turn and run to find a safe space.
I'm not much of a Warhammer guy, played the RTS games back in the day. I was always curious how reproduction worked for some these species. Literally learned about the orkz a few months back. That made me wonder who would win in a war between them and the Xenomorphs. Actually, call that a video suggestion.

LIIVI: thanks through first hand experience, I can say that Aledari are far beyond the teachings of the Kama Sutra of ancient Terra.
Well in Warhammer Fantasy there was a Chaos Champion who was the son of Valkia the Bloody. There was also another guy who was the son of a witch that was raped by a Great Unclean One. Lastly Be'lakor allegedly had tons of kids with mortal women and Archaon is Be'lakor's son because his mother was raped by a Norscan possessed by Be'lakor.
