That was an interesting set of matches! I have to give mad props to the jammer player. I could tell he was pulling out all the stops to try and land a win. The jammer is a pretty good counter to missile builds, but it's much harder to get value out of going against dual grenades. He's also using an ultra light weight build. Given that there's no turning speed in AC6, and how the ACS overload system works, light weight builds are significantly weaker than heavier ones in pretty much all respects haha. Even backpedaling and spacing isn't a strong option as Assault Boost is such an insanely good movement option.
Good thought mate but you might be wrong about backpedals. Good lw kiter is unreachable even with melee cancels 700 dash speed, had do learn that the hard way
@@vinnykawai2 Only certain dedicated lightweight kiter builds can escape from someone using AB against them. The jamming bomb is so cool, but I just can't see it working. It takes a weapon slot and breaks both AC's lock. For the level of skill it requires I'd rather run a shield. Or better yet, a weapon. Now, if the DLC adds a jamming expansion slot....
Nah.... you're sacrificing durability for mobility. You're just going to have to have more skills to succeed , which is why the lightweight won a few rounds. There is a VERY noticeable difference in speed and mobility. It's a question of skill gap between using lightweights, mediums and heavies. Yooo awesome fight, insane reaction time, quick question: how do u boost so quickly after certain attacks? (Especially after the energy lance you boost like 2 extra times or something)
Charged Laser lance does 2 thrusting attacks automatically, other than that just quick boost after certain actions- it cuts recovery animations. Dunno what else there is to it man

I haven't played AC6 yet, but it seems the jammer can un-lock your aiming towards him and interrupt your attacks 😯 Was the Jammer the _"easy to use, hard to master"_ type weapon?
Jammer bombs work both ways. It can force both to get out of concealment to regain lock, or either knows how to take advantage of that con to go manual ham on them as they try to move. Old gen AC veterans who are used to manual aiming weapon types can, and will, nail you without a lock if you are careless. Bear in mind that manual aim does not pause missile lock ons. Gen 3 and older ACs allow you to only use one weapon at a time, but Gen 4 and later? Beware the pilot who understands their weapons and utilize them in fractions of seconds.
