That's just how netcode is in any fromsoftware game. I'm sorry you don't like the lance. The design is incredible, the performance not so much for both attacker and defender side.

@@seankennethleblanc6235 my best advice is don't make an obvious attack and pray. Very inconsistent weapon due to thrusting hitbox that barely sticks to target. Also kick-quick boost-into charged lance gives more consistent results from my experience

I was trying more melee dash cancel setups yesterday and landed like 4/15 lances on a full basho frame kite. Love the weapon since day one but it's just not great

Just basic melee dash cancel, you tap melee attack then quick boost before the attack goes off and repeat. Works best with boosters that have high melee attack thrust. But the unique thing with lance is that it has its own boosters but uses them only on a charged attack, and you can melee cancel with light attack using your booster like Kikkaku for example. I hope that helps

I wouldn't say it's hard to use but it is very cool.

@@VoyagerCC344 I've had a few opponents catch me with it. But typically it's just very easy to avoid. With practice though i think the lance is a very powerful weapon.
