- The last few matches before I reached S. I have over 200GB worth of videos recorded from my journey to the S rank using only a single build. I call it a "Hero Build". A type of AC that you might see as a protagonist of a mecha Anime or on the poster of an AC game. Armed with FromSoft's signature weapons, the Moonlight and Karasawa, this AC boasts excellent scores in both Fashion and Function. I've been using a variant of this AC since patch 1.0.
Hope you enjoy this unnecessarily long video! This should have come before the other video but it just took a lot of time and effort to organize and edit all the 200GB worth of videos.

How you get those?
On your third playthrough, you will have access to analysis program arena. Beat Rusty's Steel Haze Ortus there and you will receive the Truenos
Really satisfying to watch. Really inspiring me to stick to my fragile non-meta build in the struggle for the A - S rank ladder. 😂

I respect the Karasawa/moonlight traditional combo. Also props for getting to S-Rank with a build that has to stand still to make almost any attack 😂
Yeah lol, this weapon combo would be a lot better on a quad. But that wouldn't look heroic now would it 😅

Love this build! It's so surreal to see the straight shot plasma shoulder weapons being used so tactically in combination with the Moonlight, which I always thought of as outshone by the Redshift sword
The TRUENO back weapon really tears things up. I have them on a build. I like how accurate you are with them

This is a really a great showing for a mid-weight design. And just a gorgeous use of alba's booster output.
Fantastic looking AC, and well played in the fights. For shame on those losers who disconnected though, for shame.
Karasawa, moonlight, mid-light biped with neutral colors. The only thing thats somewhat atypical about this when compared to the quintessential Hero AC is the identical back weapons, White Glint being an exception.
Noblesse Oblige as well but he was just a Trailer AC lol

the second stage charge of KSRV needs a buff imo. the damage is pitiful for the amount of hoops you have to jump through for it.
To be fair it has the second highest damage of any hang weapon in the game when fully charged. And it moves as fast as a laser, and has pulse aftershocks. I think it's good where it is. If It got buffed the game might have a new best in class 10k weight energy rifle from the bowels of armored core in ages past.
2522 damage and 1930 impact with a lingering splash pool with a blast radius of 30. Pretty massive. You can miss and still stagger. I tried this build. And after the growing pains the Sawa is absolutely still a monster as it always has been.
Within 160~200m you can still get hit and instantly staggered by full charge of karasawa despite avoid the shot, losing almost half of your HP if you play lightweight. What exactly needs to be buffed from karasawa if it's already powerful?

I too am using a type of "hero build" with dual trueno's on back, but zimmerman + pulse blade as my main weapons. I love that I am not the only one doing this! I'm still in D rank but am already in my placement matches for C rank and am trying to climb to S too. I wish you the best in PvP!
This is so satisfying to watch after getting bodied by so many Meta focused builds in Ranked PVP that I've been stuck at B for a good while, I mostly run a full ALBA hit and run melee set.
I feel you man, that ALBA frame is sexy af! Would be nice to take it all the way to S
I really hope with Bandai doing AC6 Kits and Robot Spirits figures we get the ALBA in some sort of physical plastic form really soon

If you pause on the right frame his right pointer finger is actually nicked by the blast. I'd say this is completely deserving of at least 5k damage.
It's one of the coolest looking ac I see. Definitely copy this!

Do not underestimate Biped players.
They are willing to chew gravel and step barefoot into glass shard if it means they get to keep their their fashion.
This ranked season might have rewarded tanks, BVO and Lamm-kites but once next season balance drops these players will be breaking everyones ankles.
Hopefully! I really want Midweights to be buffed or atleast nerf the heavyweights. While they're at it, I would want them to buff the Karasawa too! That thing is asking for way too much to do mediocre damage. It's heavier than Back mounted Laser cannons but only deals like 1.5x the damage of Linear rifles on a staggered opponent, fully charged
For more protagonist feel, you could use that one part where it show your pilot getting into the cockpit. Though it's a myth whether that part exist or not so I'm not very sure...
I hear Nexus soundtrack, I like immediately.
Although of course Inlove the other tracks but Nexus is my fave of the series in terms of soundtrack lol.

I love your build but for me personally I use this but with the hal legs and redshift moonlight
I have one where it's using the HAL legs and changed the KSRV to WLT coral rifle. It's a tad bit too slow, hard to out run a Laser switcher or dual Zimmer
Red is a bad guy color.

I've did this and now no longer want to touch the game 😂 it really put me to a point where I was no longer thinking about the meta or being scared of it. Only thing that would stop me sometimes was the heavyweight zimms. love your combo it got that style to it❤

Hero Build is correct, I can watch this play all day. I play too aggressive for a build like this 😅 but do want to try out things beyond the BVO in light builds.
You can melee dash cancel with the chainsaw, use that 14000k boost the kikakus give to give a mid/heavy weight the speed of BVO

The KSRV seems like it should really do more damage. It’s such a cool and iconic weapon, and I think it deserves more love
If you to look at the karasawa, you can see how transforms to its signature appearance.
Its like seeing all Armored Core versions of it in one weapon...
I wish you could walk around in its 2nd form though. I don't really like the first form, and the 3rd form is just fine if it only shows up during full charge

Damn, that's making me consider going back to my own loadout. I normally was a missile + cannon backpack kind of guy but it felt limiting at times. Apparently I just need to git gud :P

@@jyxtheberzerking4824well, you could probably tell what the frame parts are, so I'll just tell you what the inners are. Generator is NGI, FCS is SLT, and the booster is Alula :)

The only thing I say about opponents that use the meta or a cheesy build is I hope they are having fun playing. If you have to dc, i think that pretty much satiates my curiosity.

I'm terrible at this games multiplayer but I want to love it because of its potential. I hope if there is a AC7 game it has a larger story mode and co-op multiplayer.

there are three types of tank players that I hate. tank with LCB, tank with nebula, and tank with coral shield. but anyway, great video!

The frame parts are Shade-eye, 46S, Alba and 422 Legs. Inner parts Alula boosters, NGI 000 gen and the SLT FCS. You could probably tell the weapons by now, but I'll list them anyway: KRSV, Moonlight and dual Trueno

Yoooo, i like how the Pretender (is that its name??) Looks, ironically for me it uses the same arms, legs and Core as my Barbatos Lupus build. I even use the moonlight with lupus, well the coral version anyway because oh my lord the red glowing effect and the blade in general is just So Coool!!!
Yes! The I/M-26C Pretender is a successor to my previous hero build, the I-126 Pretentious. It's called that because you can pretend to be the main character of the story when you're using it lol

It's mostly for the Truenos. The Karasawa wont need it if it's used primarily for stagger punishes :)
I've been rank locked by the same two or three players for about a month now...almost made it out of D rank only to get shutdown using this exact build.

Yeah Noblesse was a major inspiration. This is a more functional Noblesse. The original Noblesse in its generation wasn't very strong, had weapon choice that don't compliment each other
Say what you will about Nexus, but it has the best opening, killer soundtracks. Plus, Evangel couldn't be cooler than that
