  • In an exclusive interview with Forbes, the fake German heiress known as Anna Delvey discusses her lucrative art career and her new reality series.
Anna Sorokin, the fake German heiress known as Anna Delvey who was convicted of fraud and was accused of scamming her way through elite New York City circles, will be the subject of a new reality show, which will be filmed while she’s on house arrest as her immigration case plays out.
Called Delvey’s Dinner Club, the series will film inside Sorokin’s East Village apartment-where she has been living since October, when she was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody in New York- according to a press release.
Sorokin will host dinner parties at her home, where “actors, musicians, founders, socialites, journalists and other esteemed guests” will eat around “a private-chef catered table” for “candid conversations where no topic is off-limits,” and will also feature interviews with Sorokin and her guests.

For most normal people our sense of worth and fullfilment is based in having family and friends while money is secondary but for these people its like they would rather die than to not have the sootlight on them. The level of narciscims its just crazy. Now its gonna be interesting to hear what the decision of the inmigration court of appeals is. I know how the law is for for non citizens when they commit crimes and deportation is inevitable. There you have the case of theresa giudice s husband who went to jail for defrauding the IRS and was deported and no legal battle saved him. Of course he wasent young and as famous as anna. If she doesnt end up getting deported from the united states i would start to have serious questions about the justice system in the united states. She'd make an interesting study for a psychologist. She's not at all ashamed or regretful. She talks of making a "mistake" as though it were a genuine mistake like forgetting to pay. She mentions "bad things" happening to someone as though her situation was a blow of misfortune. Her situation is entirely of her own making. She stole what she couldn't afford, lied and cheated. The worst was how she used her best friend and almost ruined that friend's life. Certainly morally wrong. Anna D/S doesn't even come across as a particularly interesting person. I admit though that her story and audacity is astounding and therefore fascinating. The question I would like to ask her is how could she continue to enjoy her stolen lifestyle when people were already pressuring her for payment that she didn't have. E.g in hotels or on holiday. Did she really block this problem out until the point of no return? Or did she actually spend a lot of time contemplating how to wriggle out of the situation?
