I love how open and honest Sofia is being.
What was she open about? I haven’t finished it yet lol.
@@SupernaturalLove100 Starting late in acting, feeling like she can't do different roles. Working on trying to change her accent.
@@SupernaturalLove100 And her brother being a drug dealer and being killed in Colombia, because she was relating to Griselda
for real i respect it. she put her insecurities on the table and was very transparent
I didn't want to see it when it was recommended by yt.
I started watching because of Sofia. I was surprised by the content. I think it's the best I've seen so far. I really enjoyed it. It was as if I was there with them.
I loved it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Y'all wrong for "and more" ing Jodie Foster. She's the most legendary actress there.
TWO Oscars, longer career than any of them
also brie larson, the other oscar winning actress
They did that to Annette Bening as well on another round table if I recall.
@@ziggystarduskNicole Kidman also has an Oscar.
Yesss Jodi should've been the FIRST name, then Nicole then Naomi...Jennifer is the LEAST dramatic actress up in there
Sofia Vergara said in an interview that she was constantly denied drama roles because of her accent. Now she gets to sit at "drama actress roundtable." So happy for her!
Lovely to see Jodie Foster the eldest one with no plastic surgery, fillers, etc. and looking so lovely. Here's to natural beauty.
Si tiene; uno lo nota de inmediato por su frente además ella se hizo una blefaroplastía hace unos años atrás. Todas estiradas.
And Naomi watts? I prefer the ageing gracefully than the rubber scary mask
Sophia has to lay off botox and fillers. She starts looking like Joker. She is beautiful. Thay all are, just a little bit is fine but not to distortion
And they hardly can speak clearly, the botoxed ones.
Yes! I'm like Jen, Nicole, Naomi and Sofia tone it down!!
When Jodie Foster speaks I listen
I agree
Notice how relatively quiet she is. Then, when she does talk, you hang on her every word!❤
@@AroundTheWorldWithEase Correct. Jodie Foster is a Living Legend!!!
i wished she spoke more :D
Intelligent woman and aging naturally. Aniston has so many fillers and she never says anything of real interest. Sophia is gorgeous and so funny.
Sophia Vergara is a gem and a girl’s girl. Her honesty, candor, and humor is so charming and endearing.
She looked at the Japanese actress like she was fake hehe
@@bperez8656 How can you read from that? I think Sofia was just giving her that supportive smile and look.
It's a shame but she has admitted that she does not have a lot of female friends
It's her Latin soul
I have even more respect for her after seeing this interview.
Jodie Foster is a living legend. She's on another level entirely, so I love that she just listens to everybody intently, takes it all in, and then speaks her wisdom..
That’s what intelligent people do; listen, and observe first.
I thought Jennifer Aniston was the most humble.. constantly listening to and encouraging the others to speak. I don't think she spoke about herself at all, except to say in the end that she was blessed to be there at that table! So genuine and classy. Wow
Terrible actress and trying hard to remain relevant. She shouldn't be there.
Jodie Foster should be the first name listed on this thing. She’s been in the business since she was three.
Agreed.
YES❤❤
It’s probably the other two wanting to be first
Y además con papeles verdaderamente strong
Agreed 👍 Respect seniority ❤
Sofia's "what's the worst that could happen, if they don't like me then they don't like me" approach is so healthy. Gonna channel that in my own life.
I could tell how awkward Sofia felt, during the first part and that changed after she became vulnerable, open and funny, she was all smiles !!! Love her!!
It's probably because she's not in the same league as most of the other actresses here
Jodi Foster is the Queen at that table. What a truly humble human being. Lovely woman inside and out.
Jodie Foster is not in the "more" category guys, she is THE JODIE FOSTER!!! She is a legend, come on!!!
How come Jodie Foster's name is not part of the title and her face not part of the thumbnail?
She's an acting legend right there.
Exactly!!!!
Right! I was intrigued with the video, but when I clicked it and saw her I was like "ok now we're talking, lets gooo"
Yea, she’s probably THE BEST actress at this table….
Maybe because her face looks the most real of that group, just an authentic natural wrinkled face.
Jodies belongs to More and she is the title description.
I love that Jodie brought up the introvert thing because that's exactly how I think it would be on a film set as an introvert. I love an introverted queen!
I loved listening to this. A bunch of confident women praising eachother, listening to eachother without any kind of judgement.
I love how sofia just spills out shocking facts in a span of a minute and everyone is just trying to keep up with it
Jen’s face when Sofia said that her brother was a drug dealer and was murdered…
She is the best
I'm Latina and I tend to Do the Same thing.
@@12567NoYouCannotme too 😂
@@12567NoYouCannot y'all need to stop making being latino an identity
Jodie is by far the most legendary, 2 Oscars, director, producer, working since she was 3.
Agree 💯 Queen
Yes she is so iconic beautiful and amazing 🤩😍❤.
Nah. Jodi Foster and more lol. She's A LEGEND. Been in the business since she was a tiny CHILD.
Aniston is brilliant at comedy and yet no one asked her to speak when they talked about comedy. And she stayed quiet. Wonder why no one asked her to speak up. She’s the best comedic actress
Ugh... what!? She is IN tons of comedies. But that doesnt mean she is funny. Never laughed at her once in 40 years nor thought she was a comedic actress other than the genre she happens to be in. The exotic woman here is far far bwtter at comedy. Barely seen her on modern family or whatever it was called but her comedic ability was as obvious as when the sun turns blood red.
Acting in a comedy show does not automatically make you a comedian. You have to actually be funny to be considered a comedian
@@WheresWaldo05 I personally found her hilarious in "Friends" and other movies. The script is why it's funny but the actor has to put in the work to make it come out funny too. Maybe you just have a different sense of humor and you don't find her funny, but that doesn't make it a fact, nor does my perspective. So it's just a matter of opinion.
I grew up watching Jodie Foster and I feel like people now don't realize what a massive movie star she is/was. She is so confident in herself, her talent and her craft. Just all around amazing person.
Through her roles, Jodie Foster was a companion all through my childhood. She's a year older than I am so I've grown up with her, in a way.
Not to mention the fact that’s she’s been working since the SIXTIES! All hail Jodie tbh she’s the best
Oh I think people know how incredible Jodie is. She’s up there with Meryl Streep for sure.
exactly my thoughts. I also grew up with her and she made my heart sing when she spoke about her confidence as a 60-year-old. What an amazing woman.
Contact...one of my favorite movies
Jodi Foster is a true icon and a living LEGEND! Give Jodi her flowers! 👏🏽
They did.
Jodie
@@sxm76exactly what are they mad about???😭💀
@@sxm76they just saying all this causes her name wasn't in the title like it's really not that serious calm down. They put the celebrities with the most engagement in the title so it gets more views
She has been impeccable in both her personal and professional life.
What do you mean and more - you’ve got Jodie Foster! That woman has been acting since she was a child, just like Nicole Kidman. That’s really insulting to put Jodie Foster as “and more!” Jodie is a Legend!
I’m not saying the others aren’t deserving. I’m an Aussie so I love Nic and Naomi. However, Nicole has had a stellar career and still does. Jennifer Anniston is fabulous. Sofia is funny and very vulnerable. I love the lady from Lessons in Chemistry but I still don’t know her name, nor the Shogun lady. It was great seeing them all have a sit down and talk about their experiences. I loved hearing how Jennifer helped Sofia. You never get to see big names sit down and talk like that so thank you for the video.
Change the thumbnail to show Jodie Foster some respect please. To all the beautiful and talented ladies, thank you for sharing with us. What a great experience. ❤
I appreciate Sofia Vergara so much
Sofia made me cry. As an immigrant working in the film industry, I feel that same way every day, like every opportunity is a gift and that with this accent, it's hard to get far. Thank you for your honesty, Sofia!
Poooor immigrant. I mean she only won the genetic lottery and handed a ton of opportunities and life is on easy mode in general due to that, but poor her.
How about feel sorry for that 4/10 fat Mexican lady who has to work the kitchen 7 days a week plus an extra job on the side.
You guys lack perspective
I loved her authenticity too.
Wow Sofia Vergara doesn't even realize how talented of an actress she is
Cause she’s been pigeon holed into being the ditzy spicy Latina for decades. When someone is suppressed for a long span of time, they start to believe in the suppressing narrative.
The first time I saw Sofia on a talk show, I stopped in my tracks.
But, she isn't, though. We all know why she's there.
@@alexispineda5075 I mean if what you’re trying to get at is because she’s beautiful, you could say that about like 90 percent of the industry. She’s really only had 2 roles, modern family and Griselda, to show off her skills. All these actresses have doubts when playing a new role
Yes agree
Ladies….please chill out on all the external comments about appearance. Goodness. It’s discouraging. Jodie looks this. Jens hair is that. This is a brilliant, beautiful, inspiring group of women. The end. Thank you for this interview. Really loved it!!
I agree. So focused on looks. There's more to a woman than her appearance.
That is so true, comment about appearance would be lot lesser had it been all male star
The way the older actresses are looking at Brie Larson, seeing how she can be herself, and how strong she is at her age(probably they couldn't speak up as much and be that brave when they where her age), just the way they look at her like, wow we put the floor so she could walk, and we are so proud she is enjoying the things we fought for. That is the most precious thing
That's not how I see it. If you notice, the rest of the roundtable sort of jumped in to delicately relay how jumping into something you aren't comfortable with is how you grow. Brie definitely exudes a sort of "holier-than-thou" type of aura. That being said, it is important that individuals such as Brie Larson are paving the way for all performers to feel inspired to say "no" if they were to ever truly face a detrimental choice in their professional lives.
@tonyl5344 I agree, I feel they were more listening to her experience of it. And then saying how it can make you grow as an actress to challenge yourself where it is a bit uncomfortable. They also said they would say no if it was something that was totally out of the question, didn't they? The whole industry has probably changed during the latter years, and the environment and vibe on the sets might be slightly different. Where they ask you what you think, for example. Which is obviously much healthier and better 👏🏻
Naomi Watts has to be the most underrated actor in Hollywood next to Michelle Pfeiffer. She's been criminally snubbed but I'm loving the recognition and opportunities she's getting now!
She's excellent. I loved her in The Impossible.
I love that she does not look so plastic with antiaging, her face movers.
I agree.
@@barbarab8182 "Somebody's got to play the "old lady" parts" is one of the healthiest things I've heard an actress say. Same philosophy as Sally Field!
Have you seen her in the rabbit hole ? It was one of the best shows ever on Netflix. Never understood why Netflix cancelled it.
I love how Anna never interrupts anyone and when she finally got to answer a rather dull question she answers by asking the right question to Jodie that eventually lights up the whole conversation for everyone in the table. Such a class act.
Very respectful❤
Nicole Kidman was talking too much
anna is lucky to have had the opportunity to utter a syllable in the presence of legends. nicole kidman can never talk too much!!! anna can wait her turn…
@@milanr.kundera5515 lucky to utter a syllable..ummm, ok. A bit dramatic.
Sofia is a queen, Jodie is a goddess
Jodie is the oldest but prettiest at this point
Loved to see them all together though
she and nicole are the opposite. nicole face is so frozen that it's like a statue. jodie face looks very natural.
Ladies you’re all so beautifully you…Jen (ever sensing), Nicole (lovingly truthful), Naomi (keeping it real), Brie (clear and confident), Anna (graceful) , Sofia (raw and earthy) , and Jodi (observant and wise) …Thank You for sharing. Truly a very special group of women who have impacted so many lives through their work. 🙏🏼
Great summary!
Amazing comment. Thank you
Great descriptions!
Brie is more obnoxious and insecure than clear
What a creative, thoughtful - and accurate comment!
Jodie Foster is a true treasure in the world of cinema. Her brilliance on screen is astonishing, but what truly sets her apart is her depth as a person. Besides being one of the most talented actresses of our generation, she is also an exemplar of integrity, dedication, and passion for her craft. Her ability to transform into every role she plays is extraordinary, and her commitment to bringing authenticity and truth to every character is evident in each of her performances. But what truly makes Jodie Foster remarkable is her compassionate heart and dedication to social justice. Her commitment to important issues extends beyond the world of entertainment, demonstrating that her inner beauty shines just as brightly as her outer beauty. Jodie Foster is truly an icon, both on screen and in real life.
Amazing comment beautifully put👌👌👌👌
@@sharonhughes1538 THANK YOU❤
I mostly admire how DIGNIFIED, and intelligent she is as a person.
Such an extraordinary actress, and yet, never in the spotlight for any paparazzi caos.
A very grounded person, who actually had all the opportunities to go towards the wrong path, but intelligently chose right.
@@MarCapa-ed5uvAbsolutely - great comment. Jodie Foster IS a legend and at her age, is the "elder statesmen" of the group. She is an actress AND a director, respected for both in her industry but is also well-liked for the reasons you mention. Jodie doesn't need to be "out there" - she has earned her respect in the industry and you reach a certain point in your career that your accomplishments and attitude carry you to make you beloved. That is where Jodie is at. She is not desperate, she has nothing to prove and is enjoying the tail end of her career. That said, they are all great and I don't see a competition, I see a "well-curated" roundtable, enough differences in them to make it interesting but they are all accomplished in different ways.
Sofia Vergara was amazing in Griselda I love her humility and openness in the conversation.
Jody's comment regarding female actors not necessarily fighting with each other is so true. I am reminded of when Cher won her Oscar for Best Actress in Moonstruck. Nobody was happier than Meryl Streep who was up for the same award. Whoopi Goldberg had the same experience.
Meryl Streep pointed that out too that the male actors are the ones with the egos. Actresses are far more supportive of each other
Sofia Vergara has a fascinating mix of vulnerability and strength. It's a riveting combo.
Great way to describe her!! It's what makes me want to keep listening to what she has to say!!
She is a cancer 😎 that’s the mix
Im blown away by Sophia's vulnerability, honesty, and humbleness. What a wonderful human being.
Hollywood Reporter. I know you all see these comments about Jodie Foster and you still not going to correct the title? Her name should have been listed first if not the only name on there. What a way to show respect. Don't small change her like that. You wrong for that and even more wrong because you all haven't even had the decency to correct your mistake.
These are great actors but Jodie's name should be first on the list.
Add Jodie Foster to the thumbnail and you will get 2x more views, I wasn’t going to watch this until I saw she was on here!
Love Jodie's natural face. Beautiful
I think Naomi Watts also has nothing done to here face.
If you call a face and neck lift natural then yes!
Come on
Totally! And when she smiles I still can see that young kid from Bugsy Malone, love her!
*Jodi’s very natural subtle cosmetic surgeries and procedures
Notice how much Jodi just listens, rather than speaks. She recently said it’s one of the things that changed when she hit 60.
Child prodigy, great actor, veteran talent, and amazing woman, not mention a natural beauty, is the woman known as Foster.
True, I just heard it in her conversation with Robert Downey Jr. She's amazing.
What's truly amazing is her name is left off the list of actresses! Her name should be FIRST. She's the mother at this table!

Love her. She looks so relaxed and happy these days.
This is one of those rare one hour videos that I wish would go on and on. Sofia is a revelation, I loved how vulnerable she was. Some passive anecdotes aside, I like how everyone was asked about something, I understand how Brie and Anna were mostly reserved but when it was their turn they were just their authentic selves. I am living for Naomi’s accent changes too! Would it be too much to ask for these ladies collide into each other in a movie soon? I mean the greats with the greats? That would be such a dream. I love them.
The BEST round table i have ever witness right here. watch no more.

Internalized misogyny. 😢
🤔💭,,, I would like to see a movie with Sophia , Nicole and Janet☝️,,, but first they need a talented writer for the script and a super director at making them feel comfortable & accelerate‼️🎬🎥📢📢📢☝️,,, now the question is could it happen in Hollywood can start making the possible possibility the impossible possible possible😅😅🤷☝️‼️📢📢📢↩️
These actresses that can't age gracefully or at least tastefully without looking so altered do not in any way support real women. Kudos to Jodi and Naomi for staying tasteful. Nothing against a bit of help, but too much tweaking just looks frankensteinish. I'd rather look like I need it than look like I've had it. There is a balance. Holllywood is fake as can be and is no friend to women. That's why I prefer European films where people still look like real people and not Barbie cutouts.
This comment was refreshing
I didn't know I needed this. I love when powerful and kind women get together, its pure magic.

This is by far my most favorite round table! I think all of these actresses have shown why they are amazing, aside from their acting. Sofia Vergara started as a host for a show back in the day, and being in my 30s seeing one of my favorite people succeed is so beautiful!
This is so UNBELIEVABLY powerful to watch. As an actress growing up in the 80s and 90s, there was nothing like this video out there. You had no idea what you were doing AND you had to plough through anyway. I would have loved so much to have this kind of access to women who were making it back then to support that it's okay to have nerves, to be an anxious auditioner, to know what was okay to say no to, to know that it's okay to feel like you don't know what you're doing, but for the love of the craft, you're courageous and willing enough to see what happens when the words "ACTION" get everything moving.
