You talk as if people didn't already know that lol! You're talking as if Anna is the first person in the world to figure out that money and looks influence people. Anna is a scam artist and if anyone was exposed in this whole debacle, its Anna. She lied, she manipulated people that called her "Friends".. wrote fake checks, stayed endless nights at hotels without paying, pretending to be her father through a voice changing app, lying to banks to get loans. perfect definition of a scammer. There are 3 kinds of people I REALLY don't like in this world, Rapists, child molesters and scammers so please next time don't start a sentence with "what I like about Anna" then proceed to mention something everyone is aware of.

What she went through, if the account of how things unfolded is accurate, must have been extremely stressful both on the day the hotel incident happened and afterwards when her life was falling apart. Just because she eventually managed to turn things around, doesn't mean that what she went through wasn't terrible. And when you go through such a traumatic experience, that can have a serious impact on you for the rest of your life (lack of trust in people, etc.).

Ok, so a friend invites you to dinner at a fancy restaurant and you say, gee, "I'd love to go but I can't afford that place. So she says "I'll treat - I make four times what you make, you deserve a treat. I'm having lobster - what will you have?" Your friend orders a bottle of wine for the table. Then she says "We should get dessert!" Then when the bill comes, your friend slips out the back the back door and stiffs you with the bill. A bill she knew damn well you couldn't afford in the first place. As you're explaining your situation to the server, you over hear a couple at the next table snicker and say "I guess it's karma for taking advantage of her friend." You're quite confused by this as you're the one stuck with the bill and your so called friend snuck out on you. If you have no sympathy for Rachel, then you are in Anna's camp. Anna has never apologized nor showed any remorse for what she has done. In the end Anna was the only one who lied about her money, her intent to pay and even her identity. What did Rachel lie about?

I caught that she mentioned “being white” as a reason it was really easy for this girl to get away with so much. This coming from another white woman. She understands she won’t be questioned. She knows that no one would truly suspect it because it was believable. Her personality and persuasiveness got her in the door, but her being white is key.
Glad American Express helped this girl.
To the ones that feel Rachel was “ using” Anna, consider that you would let your rich friend pay for things if they insisted and you knew they could . It’s like Anna was sort of grooming Rachel to later on violate her….to trust her, feel comfortable with her, her love bombing was her buying her an all expense paid vacations and spa dates.

Let's not forget Anna had 10 counts against her she was found guilty on seven of the three she was found not guilty on one was defrauding Rachel so a jury says Rachel's not a victim and she wasn't defrauded.

I don't see Rachel as a victim at all I see her as a huge opportunist. That's what's with the fake smile the whole painful interview.
She was an opportunist and letting Anna pay for tens and tens and tens of thousands worth of stuff over a two year period.
She tried to be an opportunist by going on this lavish all expense a vacation.
Her credit card debt had already been wiped and she was in no danger of having to repay it when she set up the sting to get Anna to leave rehab so she could be arrested in extradited.
Then she was an opportunist after that by selling her story all over the place and writing articles for vanity Fair.
Interesting how she worked for vanity Fair then cooperated in a sting even though she wasn't in financial debt and she was in no danger of losing her job or having to repay the credit card and should have been in no financial problems and then cooperates and get a sting that gets an arrested and extra guided and an article with Rachel's pictures the author in it appears in vanity Fair.
I know we all like the good guy bad guy scenario but there's a lot of Anna in a lot of people and I don't really see Rachel or Anna as any different.
Bottom line the jury had no problem convicting Anna on a lot of charges and they found her not guilty of the charge regarding Rachel. I think the only reason Rachel was mad about that outcome is because it does bring into question the legitimacy of her actions and her story.

It depends on the price to but nothing wrong with that you’re making a statement like this on the wrong with. No it’s not actually sometimes you can pay it And be equal thing or San Jose pays enough to pay they could be that too if he has her only idea friendship sure but it could be both. You don’t have to be half all the time. Yes it can be sometimes but yeah because of your friendship, but I don’t need it as a bad thing I was with Pain and if somebody office a piece of her things oh yeah, don’t make it bad Specially if they’re all fine, I’m a do you have to take it now like again like I said, depends on what it is but you have till the same things from Walmart and mostly which is offered but I don’t like to because for most part that’s why she says I have a family I’m a want you do it for because I don’t ask for anything I don’t really ask for anything I don’t want anything and she has a hard time convincing me sometimes you do certain things or letting her buy for certain things because I keep saying no but and then I always feel bad about it but she knows I’ll do it for her to listen if she need help that’s why she does it. She knows I’ll help her, but she needs help, but again it’s not bad to have you to sometimes you’re friendly face and I wish you could pay. There’s nothing wrong with that you don’t have to always pay half now if it’s a hotel stay then yeah I should be happy to pay your share and they should pay their share. I believe that’s what I believe for a hotel stay well if you want to eat or hang out with Page that has a bang you know again like I said some hasn’t been, my cousin goes out there and you know like last time my cousin paid you know for us, because we always take turns.

Plus you see Rachel copy Anna multiple times like Rachel wants to be Anna. I do generally think neff knew what Anna was doing but didn’t bust her because in Neff’s mind everyone hustles somebody. Then she devalued and discarded them when they were of no use to her. Not really because she never had to be in that situation in the first place of giving her credit card.
She's a complete opportunist. She's really not that much different than Anna I think she just played a better game.
Anna paid for tens and tens and tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff for her over 2 years and never took a thing and Rachel never offered her anything never bought her a gift never wrote her a thank you card and she was all set to take a lavish $60,000 vacation on someone else's dime.
She had the debt forgiven by Amex before she cooperated in the sting and I think it's kind of ironic that she worked for vanity Fair was in no danger of losing her job and in no financial debt yet cooperated in a sting that got Anna to leave rehab so she could be extradited and suddenly an article that she authored which never authored anything prior in her life appeared in vanity Fair and she slapped her picture in there as the writer not at all trying to keep a low profile and then was an opportunist by selling her story over and over and over again.
Let's not forget the jury found Anna guilty on a lot of serious crimes that had the potential to have her incarcerated for 12 years of her life and they found her not guilty of defrauding Rachel. So this little interview is spin because she needs her book to continue to do well and the movie option continue to do well and all of that money coming in.
Seems to me Rachel made out like a bandit she got tens and tens of thousands worth of dollars worth of free stuff from Anna got her vacation bill wiped clean and made about a million after.
My point is is that Rachel would have never been Anna's friend for so long putting up with her attitude or whatever if Anna hadn't been paying for everything all the time and so Rachel was a participant because she wanted the free stuff and the free training sessions and the free nights out more than she wanted to take care of her own personal health and that is completely on her and now she's crying victim she didn't even have to pay it did she voluntarily pay the money after she made the $600,000 to Amex and say look I end up making money on this I know you wiped it but how about I go ahead and pay that bill no.

What shocks me is the fact that major hotels check them inn without payment, in Brazil hotels never let you in without pre payment.

I don’t understand how people don’t feel bad for her. Like yeah maybe she just shouldn’t have given her card in the first place but she and everybody else believed that she had money so I understand how that happened. And I’m pretty sure the odds of her getting so much money out of the situation was super low, it just so happened that people got really interested in this story and monetizing it was actually possible. Getting scammed out of a whole $60k must have been scary af but I’m glad it all turned out well in the end

I felt bad about the situation being out of the country because if it was in the US, the situation would be different. But you don't go to these countries and play these games. Anna obviously didn't care because as a narcissist you have to hit rock bottom but will still get up and pretend nothing happened. Those men meant business. Imagine going to a foreign prison over this bill. And you know Anna would turn on her and leave her to rot in prison if it's to her advantage.

So I’ve got to admit- I dont actually feel sorry for any of these people. When this case was first presented, they said it like- she broke out onto the social scene, and hung out with New York’s socialites and “high society”. But she’s not as rich as she says she is. She’s a fraud. Like- who really is who they say they are? Rich people were swindled because they spent time with someone who isn’t rich. Poor them.
Also, the friend who thought she was getting a free $60,000 stay? Get real. She was the one who was using the Ana, and then she ended up having to pay. It’s kinda interesting- it’s an interesting glimpse into the minds of people who believe money is everything.

Here's the other thing she would throw lavish dinners pay the bill & then ask for people who enjoyed her expensive hospitality for a place to stay for the night & everybody would say no and she slept in her car. This was before everything broke. I can't help but feel like I understand how she came to be so hard. Did anybody ever think that maybe she really did just want to be cared about and liked and she spent years trying to buy people who then continued to be leeches. So, she got hard & cold & felt they got what they deserved. Obviously, it's not healthy to try and buy people's love and affection, but, as someone who lost their parents at a young age and then have no living relatives by the time I was 20 and to have some inheritance money I went through a phase where I did that because I was so alone in the world and scared didn't feel like people would love me if I couldn't do for them. A person who's in that space tends to attract really horrible, cold-hearted, lecherous people.
