Me- I wonder if I need to be an LLC to get a business credit card
You- You don’t have to be an LLC to get a business credit card 😂 Lol you read my mind- thanks for the video!
Hahaha I love that. Glad it helped!
@@TaylorPOD which chase card do you use. I see 5 different options.
@xXIISeXyAmAnDaIIXx i use the chase business ink premiere. I have a link to it in the description 😊
@@TaylorPOD Thank You! 😊 also a huge thank you for these videos!
Hi Taylor, thanks for the helpful content you share here. I’ve gotten so much value out of watching your videos. One question I have is, my Etsy shop allows a 2-hour window for customers to cancel an order they have just placed. If I set a specific time in Printify for orders to automatically be sent for production, say at 10am everyday, what happens to an order that’s placed at 9am and is still within the cancellation window? Or does Etsy automatically hold all of my orders for 2 hours before passing them along to Printify? Thanks so much!
Etsy will not automatically hold them - so in that case it’s important to select a time that works best for you. Even if an order does go through - you typically can still cancel it on printify within a few additional hours with no issues. 😊
@@TaylorPOD Thanks so much!Your answer is very clear and helpful. I look forward to our 1:1 coaching session next week.
Thanks for this video. Question - so if one were to enable Order Routing you may not have the 'new' print company listed as a production partner on your Etsy listing. So the routing wouldn't work then or what? Oh Also, the link to the business credit card - the page comes up as not available.
Hey! Yes that's correct - your order may be fulfilled by a completely different print company then what is on your etsy listings. The routing would still work (as that is all just done on Printify's side of things) it would just be coming from a different place. Your customer still would receive tracking information. I just updated the link to the business card :) Should work now.
Thank you so much for the reply!@@TaylorPOD
Thanks Taylor for this great video! I didn't know about the setup part (for enable order routing) - where we can indicate the maximum additional amount we want to spend and checking the box for the exact product matches. I never saw that before until your video and when I went to printify, that piece was hidden, but when I clicked on the down arrow, it appeared. I went ahead and made an update.
Also, I want to point out that in order to implement the express delivery option, you have to have your setting set to enable order routing for it to take effect. Otherwise, it'll default to standard shipping if set to manual.
Thanks for sharing that!
Hi Taylor, so I just started a Printify pop-up shop and I was confused. I thought that I needed to send the customers to my print pop-up shop. Can you help me understand how this process works better please?
Because when my first customer tried to order through Printify… she kept getting an error about her credit card being declined
So does this mean that they should go straight to my Etsy store instead?
Having a printify pop up shop is completely different from Etsy. A pop up shop is your very own standalone website through Printify (sort of comparable to like having your own website in a way). Where you send your customer is completely up to you. They should be able to check out just fine through your pop-up shop though. I’d recommend if you’re running into issues there, contact Printify and they will be extremely helpful!
I am unable to understand why we need business card or personal card to pay front for production? I was thinking a customer places an order like $12 and it all goes to printify, then printify gives share to ETSY and ETSY will share our profit to us by depositing profit into our bank.
That is not correct. You always will pay your print provider separately. You receive the revenue from Etsy for your orders, but it is your responsibility to pay for the production of the product.
@@TaylorPOD so it means if our item price is $12 for example. when order comes we will pay $8 to Printify
because the price for this item from printiy is $8.
Customer will pay $12 to ETSY. Lets suppose ETSY has $2 share, ETSY will cut its share which
is $2 out of $12 (to keep it simple forget about other fee from ETSY). and ETSY will pay us $10 as a seller, So ETSY gives us $10 and we pay printify
$8 then 10 - 8 = $2 os from this tansaction we get $2 profit, am i correct?
do you have to have an account with Etsy to be able to use Printify?
No! Printify integrates with several platforms. Many people start a Shopify store with Printify as well :)
Does printify charge you to ship your items??
Yes there are shipping and production costs with any print partner you work with.
Thank you to share all your experience with us. have a bless day.
Thank you! You too!
