Since they been open, I been there 5 times, the spicy fried chicken with the gravy is something special.
I tried Jolly Bee , about 3 years ago on a trip to LA. Heard a lot of hype about the place. It was ok had many items on menu. Chicken was kind of on small side. I like Popeyes better.

I think Jollibee is better than Popeyes, it's juicy but not oily. He missed out on getting the peach mango pie.. slammin'

growing up in the Philippines for 10 years, Jollibee for me is everything. Having my grandma and parents to have Jollibee mascot come to my birthdays was the best. And now being here in the states for almost 13 years, its so nice to see other people outside Philippines to love Jollibee is so nice.
Love Jollibee chicken, especially the spicy. Love their customers service. Full of Filipinos. Shout out to my Filipino bros and sis, not Filipino but ya still consider my Asian family. Their gravy is good too.
When JL dipped the chicken into the gravy & melted back from the goodness. I felt that 100 lmfao. My same reaction 😂

My fiancée is Pinay & I love Jolibee. I love the spicy chicken thigh & pinoy spaghetti combination. So cool Jolibee is in Philadelphia now.
I learn so much from this channel! I was born and raised and Philly, moved south in the late 90's. Still visit home few times a year and J.L. keeps us updated on the latest, greatest and hidden gems. I truly appreciate you Family! Much respect!
The crunch and flavor of the chicken is unmatched

I’ve lived in San diego ALL of my life I have worked with filipinos ALL of my life, my sister in law, Aunt by marriage and niece and nephew are filipino. I just had jollie bee for the first time EVER last month and was shooketh at the cheeseburger and banana pie. I text my sister in law and my aunt to let them know how pissed I was at them for not introducing it to me sooner and not to expect anything from me for Christmas 😤

Glad you have it. It was a big deal when they opened in Toronto and now there's a bunch in the area. It stands out amongst the others, which is a good thing.
Aloha! I live on Maui and Jolibee's is the only fried chicken place on the island! It's very good. I don't care for the sweet Spaghetti, but the adobo fried rice is excellent! Thanks for your honest reviews.

You MUST go back for the pies. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING especially with the chicken. Reminds me of peach cobbler and they always come hot and fresh. One of my favorite places to eat.

My kids keep asking me to get JB man need to drive 4 hrs for this and had to say it change my perspective of fast food quality of food is great delicious pies and spicy chicken love to go back

I love that you mixed your spaghetti first before digging in! Most mukbangers would just start digging in and it drives me nuts when I see them eating disproportionately spreaded sauce with noodles! 😂

Loved this video! My sister in law is Filipino and she will DRIVE hours to a Jolliebee in the USA. I can't stress enough how serious this place is for her & how often it is mentioned. I got to try it twice. The chicken was good, but it is not anything I would drive 2 or more hours to eat ... I mean you have to be a horrible cook to mess up #1 breakfast & #2 fried chicken so there has to be a local chicken spot that can hold you down until you stumble upon a Jollibee. All their other stuff is good (sides, desserts, sandwiches, etc) but again I'm not going to pass 50 chicken spots to go on a mission to a Jollibee (BUT I felt Harold & Kumar when they went on their mission to White Castle so i definitely understand what a craving is). Now, I cracked up when you said "they treat this spaghetti like yams." I myself couldn't handle the sweetness 🤣 & I wanted it to workout so badly because I thought it was cool that they served spaghetti. I couldn't explain it to people other than it is different than what you are most likely accustomed to here in the USA (some jar sauces are really sweet so it depends) but it is edible (which doesn't make it sound appealing at all 😆). My husband hates yams so I can't use that line on him but to someone else I'm going to tell them "if you like yams you'll love Jollibee's spaghetti."

Idk if it’s worth driving for HOURS but I can sort of get where she’s coming from. Based on my personal experience here in Philippines, each chicken chains have their different flair so there’s an identity attached to these joints. If we’re talking about KFC they had blended spice profile with soft skin and thick spiced gravy while our McDonald’s (We have chicken on our Maccas) had peppery flavor and crispy skin paired with soup-y peppery gravy so if you are really craving for a juicy and crispy chicken with thick but subtle flavored gravy, Jollibee’s the only way to go.
Luckily for us, these places often open up near each other so you’re not gonna drive for much farther if you’re craving for something else.
@@nameless4222 yes! 100% agree. All fried chicken places have distinct flavors that make it easy to tell them apart. Its the same thing with burger joints and colas... people have their preferences for certain recipes. I enjoyed Jolliebee and will go when they complete the one near me especially since my SIL loves it so much 😊. She just can't get me to drive 2hrs to eat it 😆
@@ejg2967 Forget the chicken or the burger I insist you give the pies (specifically the peach mango) a try. They come scorching hot so take extra care if you do try them!

Can't go wrong with my Jollibee's Fab Five. The amazing Chickenjoy with unique gravy🍗. Tasty spicy Chicken Sandwich 🍔. Filipino style sweet spaghetti 🍝. Phenomenal Peach Mango Pie 🫓 all washed with fresh Pineapple Juice/Quencher 🍍. Life's good 👌🌞🇵🇭. SF CA🇺🇲👍

One of my wife's friends who Filipina put her up on game about Jolliebee and we been going ever since. Damn I'm kinda bummed out for you in regards to the pies them pies are FIRE! We stay in L.A. and they have a handful of them out here.

Dude; I was just at Ma Lessie's on Sunday before the Birds game and I am on a fried chicken kick. I hit LIKE on this video before it even started; this looks good. Sweet spaghetti seems nuts but I can't knock it since I have never had it; kept my eye on this chain for a while. Hope they expand. And a notch on Popeyes is saying something!

Good to know Phili finally got a Jollibee for the folks there to enjoy. I remember living in Cali I had to drive 1 hour to get to one but since I moved back to Manila 3 months ago its in every corner and I can just walk to get me some Chicken Joy! For life!
The Chicken is decent. With that Amazing Gravy??? its a whole other level.
This review makes me want to go to Jollibee. JL knows how to make a bite of food look REALLY yummy. It's a talent I seen before. Mark Wiens, the food vlogger and this guy, are in a world of their own, enjoying food. But. This dude has a beard that doesn't get messy from a pretty potentially 'messy' fast food experience. You have to be a really good eater to do a good review. I like the spaghetti idea. I knew I was weird, ordering spaghetti from Pizza Hut, a while back. I don't always like things al dente. Anyway. Nice to be invaded by the Filipinos. I hope they do very well and consider opening franchises in the northeast.

been to a joleebees 1 time years ago like early 2000 bushwick in Brooklyn the chicken was juicy the skin was crunchy and the flavor was giving.

Jollibee is super legit. I tried it down in St Pete when I was at my moms early in the year and even my 82 year old Serbian mom was like "That's some good fried chicken" and she doesn't have much good to say about fried chicken that's not her onw. lol The grave on the chicken is def the play for sure! Happy to see Jollibee nearby, hope they get a spot in SJ now. You're doing good work JL!

You can’t go 5 blocks in Manila in the Philippines without seeing one of these Jollibee restaurants. I was totally shocked! I counted 23 Jollibees from the airport to my hotel in Manila. Freaking amazing. Had to go in and see what the hype was about. After waiting for a half an hour, the chicken didn’t move me like I thought it would. Kentucky fried Chicken in Thailand was much better.
Sad to say but Chickenjoy made in the Philippines is inferior compared to non Philippine Jollibee... Quality takes a dip here in the Philippines to cater to the masses. They can't sell 500 peso (8-9 usd) Chicken meal where that amount is close to a day's miminum wage.
Try KFC Philippines... You get a shittier food. Trust me.

I went to JOLLIBEE in Wheaton MD 2 hours after seeing this video. The chicken & gravy was off the chain just like dude said. And I also got the JolliSpaghetti but it didn’t look anything like on the video. It wasn’t bad, could’ve used more sauce & meat.

I've heard nothing but good things about Jollibee! I'd probably want some hot sauce for the spaghetti to make it sweet n spicy. Can't wait till they come to Michigan. 👍👍
@lisa anderson big yes! I always asks spicy sauce in a sachet whenever they have it, drop in my spaghetti or even when I cooked homemade spaghetti I make sure I had my Tabasco... sooo goood sweet and spicy!!!
@@samueldaffon7927 not Tabasco! Worst sauce ever. Just too vinegary. Red pepper flakes in the sauce that simmers for hours is the way to go.
