Seeing dooby's signature vlog style back in the u.s. is a trip! Still just as interesting as when she's in Korea. Shows she really is the best travel host on yt rn.
As a person who has lived here (Philly) 9 years and worked in the restaurant industry here going on 6 years, great job. Definitely showed off the smaller businesses that are hidden gems in the 6th largest city in the U.S.. When you come back definitely hit up the restaurant scene here too. It’s very competitive between some small restaurant groups and so the food is spectacular. Let me know if you need some insider knowledge of the food scene here.

I am glad you enjoyed Philly and as someone who has been living in that area for a long time now it truly is one of my favorite cities; it is up there w/ San Diego for me. It just has a big city vibe but, also a small city vibe mixed w/ some open space areas and lots of music, art, history, science and some of the best food in U.S.A. As a foodie you can just get lost and next time you visit try the greek restaraunt on South St. they do AMAZING kebabs on a stick and gyro's like it is so good and not expensive and you can just be on south st. then walk up to the window order / wait 5 mins and get hot fresh food then go one block down and get a margarita slushie LOL. Minus the potholes and some bad blocks it really is a overall safe and friendly city.
Watching you eat that Philly steak made my heart beat fast I literally want one because here in Florida they don’t make it like that, hands down you had the real deal Philly 😊
I'm a native South Philadelphian. To see you go to John's Water Ice, where we used to go when I was a kid (60s and 70s), walking there with my cousins after dinner was so nostalgia-evoking! I've been living in Texas for 25+ years and I miss Philly! My grandparents had an Italian corner grocery store about 4 blocks from the Italian Market. I remember the smell of cheeses and salami, the wooden pickle barrel. I have very Proustian memories of the Italian Market, too! I love this video. Also, all the natives know that Geno's is a tourist trap. The best cheesesteaks and sandwiches are always in the little mom & pop places, in Philly & the burbs, and in South Jersey. I'm moving back to the east coast soon, and really can't wait to go around Philly. It always was a great melting pot as far as food goes, but it's increased it so much! I can't wait to try it.
I currently live in Maryland and Rockville is an amazing place for Asian food for sure!! If you’re in the area between Baltimore and DC the best Mexican food is Taqueria Los Primos!!! I grew up in Southern AZ with amazing Mexican food and this place does not disappoint!
I was one of the persons who spoke to you before you had pho! I hope that you get to visit this really small spot called Cafe Walnut next time around they are a breakfast/lunch spot with great drinks

I’m so happy you came to Philly!!! Excellent video full of great food. Thanks Dooby.
Watching your video makes me feel like to contemplate and better about all the bad things. And they turned into just an okay feeling. I can see them differently. Thank you for always showing off nothing but only the genuine part of you.
I’m in Philly this is so fun to see you here!!!
Watching you eat that Philly steak made my heart beat fast I literally want one because here in Florida they don’t make it like that, hands down you had the real deal Philly 😊
Thanks for giving this great city respect.
You’re such an inspiration to me as a chef Dooby much love from Egypt

You are making me homesick. No place on earth has the great food of Philly. 4th Street Market was/is incredible..

I currently live in Maryland and Rockville is an amazing place for Asian food for sure!! If you’re in the area between Baltimore and DC the best Mexican food is Taqueria Los Primos!!! I grew up in Southern AZ with amazing Mexican food and this place does not disappoint!
yesss!! los primos is the best around the area
Rockville MD is like Little Taipei...
I was one of the persons who spoke to you before you had pho!
I hope that you get to visit this really small spot called Cafe Walnut next time around
they are a breakfast/lunch spot with great drinks
Close to 4M subs. Unreal. Been here since 100k 🎉
Philly native here, born and raised. You did our city justice! Id love to treat you to some Morrocan food next time you’re in town. Cute little hole in the wall called Marrakesh on South street ☺️
Dana’s dad taught me during my endo residency at penn back in the day. He’s a beast!
