The highlight of today’s adventure is when I stumble upon a lovely Aglaonema 'Pink Siam' that’s marked down on clearance. With its striking pink and green foliage, it's too beautiful to leave behind! I’ll walk you through my thought process as I decide to rescue this plant and take it home.
💧 *Semi-Hydroponics Journey:*
Once at home, I’ll show you how I prepare the Aglaonema for its new life in a semi-hydroponics substrate called LECA (also known as pon). I’ll explain the benefits of this growing method, including how it helps with water retention and aeration for the roots, making it a fantastic choice for houseplants.

I adopted aglaonema red Siam and dracaena dorado into my family. My red Siam already has multiple babies ❤ I noticed brown tips and edges with dracaena dorado and learned that they are sensitive to tap water. So I’ve been leaving my water out for 24hrs to bottom water it, and it’s been doing very well!
That is awesome! Yes draecena can be sensitive to tap water but I’m you got an Aglaonema Red Siam
Good selection at this Lowe’s you visited. We’ve missed seeing your daily videos. But we understand life gets super busy 🪴🪴🪴

Hi Richie, 😊 FYI the croton "mammy" name has a horrible history in how it got its "name" check out Planting Ashley's channel. She gives a little botanical history on how most plants got their common names. It's quite eye opening, I was shocked, but I was not surprised. As always, great video love the detail you put into them.
