Thank you so much!! I can’t tell you how full my cup feels meeting these amazing people and sharing their story with you all. Thank you for being here and watching. 🥰💗
I was going to abandon my dahlia growing for next year but since I started watching your videos I am now back on board. I love the flowers and just need to be more patient with them.
Walk was the biggest sweetheart, and her boys definitely share her love for animals. You can tell they all love and care for their animals with so much care and love. 💗🥰
oooooooooooooooooooo THANK YOU Claudia!!!! O dear one - this is why you came - you are right on path. Well done!!! And Sergey - thank you - I looked forward to seeing your work today and you are growing in skill and capturing beauty. Both of you thank you - you are blessings and bring joy to our path.
Ohh Pam, sending you big hugs!! You’ve made my day. Thank you for your kind words. I finally feel like I’m on the right path, I can just feel it. It’s means the world to me to have you and everyone else’s support, thank you, truly. 🥰🤗
Thank you, Claudia, for another great farmer video. It's really interesting to hear and learn how folks get started. Kelsey's farm and her growing principles are similar to mine! I'm not a fan of all of that netting when it comes to dahlias. I get it, but I'm too lazy to do that! Her daffodahlia is so beautiful. Maybe she'll sell the seeds in the future? She's amazingly talented.
I completely agree with you. She is so real and down to earth, I loved learning from her. She is actually having a seed sale this weekend and will have more later down the line too. 🥰💗
Isn’t that so fun Lisa!! I know it’s the end of season and the frost is coming, but her dahlias still looked so beautiful. And the daffodahlia, so so excited for her discovery. 🥰💗
Hi Claudia 👋 Actually you are the one that makes me want to try Dahlias 😊 This is a wonderful story and beautiful flower gardens. Thank you for taking us along. 😊
Wow Jennifer, you made my day m, thank you so much for the sweet words. That has always been my goal, if I can just encourage or motivate one person to get excited about flowers… well that’s what makes me the happiest. 💗🥰
Thank you Deb!! I’m so happy to get this feedback. I try my best to get to know their stories through my questions, and honestly the questions just come as we walk the farm. 🥰💗
I just came across your channel and subscribed. Wow! I love the new discovery and I hope you'll be able to grow it o er and over! I love flower's but watching you and listening to your knowledge I feel I don't know anything compared to you.
Aww thanks Karen!! I have tons of videos on Dahlias and will continue sharing all of my knowledge and what these incredible farmers share too! I also her dahlias comes back, it would be amazing to see it again. 😍
Michigan gal here. I would love to be able to leave them in the ground. I hope to find bags for them for next season. Hopefully I can over winter in bags for an early spring start. I find mine don’t start to flower until the end of summer. I’d love to have them flower longer.
Aww hi from Oregon! What zone are you in? If you have a changes to start them indoors you can that too. If you have a lot of space I would even consider caterpillar tunnels. 🥰
You don't have to, it depends on your zone. I have several videos on digging and wintering in ground. It all depends what zone you live in, and if you plan on dividing your dahlias. 🥰
Good question, I recommend you watching my dahlias seed saving video if you want to learn more. In short tubers come back true to the mother plant, while seeds are genetically different and is how we discover new varieties. 🥰
Yeah, if you click into the ‘shop’ tab and click on seeds there’s details. The sale starts October 13, 9am pst. Her site also mentions the following: “All items will show as out of stock for preview of what will be available until 10/12/24 at 7PM. The page will then be hidden to load inventory.” Hope this helps. 💗🥰
I hear yeah Lorraine! It can be super overwhelming so I just don’t stress about it anymore. I hope more and more people start enjoying the process of buying and not panic buy. 😆
No they actually wouldn’t cross. Dahlias are very genetically diverse so these things can happen, but are very rare and hard to pin point why they do these things. It’s very interesting that several of her plants did this. 🥰
Here's what I don't get about the Wedding Tunnel she has. She sells a seed from that Tunnel she says is kept from cross pollination and guaranteed to be true to type but you both are in that tunnel with the doors wide open and she mentioned that the bees are in the tunnel. Wouldn't that be cross pollination if the bees have access to the tunnel?
Wow another beautiful dahlia garden thank you for sharing Claudia👍❤️
Of course! I had a great time meeting Kelsey and sharing her discovery. 🤩
Claudia, you've been knocking it outta the park with your farm tour content! Really enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much!! I can’t tell you how full my cup feels meeting these amazing people and sharing their story with you all. Thank you for being here and watching. 🥰💗

Yes!! You have no idea how happy this makes me! I will always be in your corner helping you along. Let me know if you ever have any questions. 💗🤗
That daffodil dahlia was so unique! I hope it comes back so you can create stock. Another great interview Claudia! ❤😊😍
Thank you Cheri!! I am rooting for her too! It would be very fun to grow that variety. 💗
What a beautiful garden, and the cows are so cute! I love everything about DAHLIAS! 😍
Thank you for sharing, Claudia.💕
Thanks Isabel!! I had the best time. Dahlias and cows, what’s not to love. 🥰💗
Beautiful Kelsey! Thank you for sharing your gardens with us. 😊
She’s incredible. I cannot wait to see more of her farm. 💗
Wow❤ I love new flower ❤I hope it comes back!!

Walt is lovely. Donkeys are so smart. Your son is very lucky to grow with this beautiful creature.
Walk was the biggest sweetheart, and her boys definitely share her love for animals. You can tell they all love and care for their animals with so much care and love. 💗🥰

You do some of the best interviews. Her farm is fabulous
Ahh this makes me so happy to read! Thank you so much for watching and being so supportive. 🥰🤗
Great interview! Enjoyed all of the dahlias, as well as the excitement of the daffodahlia!
Isn’t that so fun Lisa!! I know it’s the end of season and the frost is coming, but her dahlias still looked so beautiful. And the daffodahlia, so so excited for her discovery. 🥰💗
Kelsey is awesome and I love everything she said and I too believe overhead watering has soooo many benefits ❤
I totally agree! I’ve seen other farms doing overhead watering and honestly on those super hot days, it’s what really cools them off. 🥰
Hi Claudia 👋 Actually you are the one that makes me want to try Dahlias 😊 This is a wonderful story and beautiful flower gardens. Thank you for taking us along. 😊
Same. I found her video (swan Island dahlias ) she’s the reason why I ended with 200 dahlias. 😅
Wow Jennifer, you made my day m, thank you so much for the sweet words. That has always been my goal, if I can just encourage or motivate one person to get excited about flowers… well that’s what makes me the happiest. 💗🥰
Thanks you friend. 🤗💗
❤ you are a naturally excellent interviewer! You asked great questions in a rapid fire way! Extremely enjoyable!❤❤❤
Thank you Deb!! I’m so happy to get this feedback. I try my best to get to know their stories through my questions, and honestly the questions just come as we walk the farm. 🥰💗
Another great tour. I really enjoyed this one!
Aww thanks Tammie!! I did too! Kelsey is the sweetest. I loved learning more about her story. 🥰💗

Beautiful video! Thanks so much for sharing your story! 😊
I agree Victoria, she is amazing, I loved every minute with Kelsey. 🥰💗
So beautiful...
Thank you Susan! 💗🤗
Hi Claudia! I love❤your videos. I have some dahlias but if I was younger I would love flower farming thanks to you!
Aww thanks Linda!! I am so excited to have more land to grow on someday. I think and pray about it daily. 💗🥰
Love it! I've been waiting for "permission" to use tpost sprinklers!
lol yessss!!! I also support that decision. On hot days I only overhead water ours to cool them down. She’s got s great system. 🥰💗
WOW! Just WOW! 🤩 and I want a Walter 🤍
Right!!! Walter was like a big puppy!!! I want one so bad now! 🥰
Que hermoso jardin saludos desde la Ciudad Inca Cusco Perú
si es muy bonito!! 😍

This was another great video!! 😊
Thank you so much Karen!! I can’t wait to share more. 💗
New to this channel. I love dahlias, but need to learn more. Must watch her more.
Aww welcome! I have a lot of dahlia content you can watch and learn from. 💗🥰
Hola Claudia ,otro excelente video 😃💐💐
Thanks Mabel!!! 🥰💗🤗 I had so much fun with this one.
Ready for frostmas by this time! Lol
Right!! I’m just praying we continue with this warm weather for just a couple more weeks. 🥰💗
Thank you Claudia. 🎃🍁💚🙃
Of course Judy. 🥰 I feel blessed sharing these spaces with you all. 💗
Michigan gal here. I would love to be able to leave them in the ground. I hope to find bags for them for next season. Hopefully I can over winter in bags for an early spring start. I find mine don’t start to flower until the end of summer. I’d love to have them flower longer.

What were the flowers right before the yarrow at the end of the video? LOVED this video! That farm is so magical 💕
Aww thank you!! I’m pretty sure it’s clary sage! It was beautiful. 🥰💗
@@InTheGardenWithClaudia thank you so much!🌸
It is salvia!
So you have to dig up the tubers at the end of each season ?
You don't have to, it depends on your zone. I have several videos on digging and wintering in ground. It all depends what zone you live in, and if you plan on dividing your dahlias. 🥰
What’s the difference between growing dahlias from seed vs tuber?
Good question, I recommend you watching my dahlias seed saving video if you want to learn more. In short tubers come back true to the mother plant, while seeds are genetically different and is how we discover new varieties. 🥰
Interesting.
Yes! I was very fascinated by it. 🤩
I check out her website but there wasn't a time for the seed sale. Can you please let know.
Yeah, if you click into the ‘shop’ tab and click on seeds there’s details. The sale starts October 13, 9am pst. Her site also mentions the following:
“All items will show as out of stock for preview of what will be available until 10/12/24 at 7PM. The page will then be hidden to load inventory.”
Hope this helps. 💗🥰
do you sell the bulb of the Daffodahli
She doesn't yet, but she does sell seeds and will sell other tubers. 🥰
I cannot believe how stressful it is to buy dahlias and sweet peas. I have given up trying to buy the seeds I want. So I just go with the flow….
I hear yeah Lorraine! It can be super overwhelming so I just don’t stress about it anymore. I hope more and more people start enjoying the process of buying and not panic buy. 😆
Do you think the bees or some type of pollinators could have cross the dahlia bringing over pollen from a white daffodil.
No they actually wouldn’t cross. Dahlias are very genetically diverse so these things can happen, but are very rare and hard to pin point why they do these things. It’s very interesting that several of her plants did this. 🥰
