At my WalMart, a plant doesn't go on clearance until it's already dead. But Lowe's is very good about giving me discounts on rescue plants.

I also just bought that three teared plant stand last week! I really like it, I’m trying to find more shelving or stands for plants in my dining room to get more organized. Oh I’m excited that you are going to have David as a guest on the podcast! I watch a lot of his videos.

I love white planters too! I have the mushroom one and the layered one that one that you said you like. I think I want to buy the one with the bee on it! My cash pots are mainly white, with a few other light neutral colors sprinkled in. I have a couple of light blue, a light pink that is home to my Galaxy Pink Princess, and some cream colored ones. I love colors and some of the blues and greens are so pretty. I like the plants to be the star though, and the white pots let the plant be the star. I also like that white ones are modern looking.

I like the very first plant in this video, the Crown of Thorns! I just got one of those right before the end of 2024.

My favorite plants are the Monsteras and Philodendrons.

Im glad your Lowes is sticked. I went to my local lowes. It was stocked with half dead plants. Nothing interesting found.

Ritchie I enjoy watching your videos and have learned a lot about plants from you. I have gotten a couple of Monstera, Hoya, Pink Princess Philodendron and Aglaonema plants because of your videos. I also went to a local nursery where I work to look for a dwarf jade bonsai and to look at their plants, cacti and succulents. I would like to make a request that in one of your tours, you could focus on cacti and succulents. I noticed at one of the two Home Depot’s I went to yesterday that they had gotten in some new plants that included cacti and succulents. I was surprised that they didn’t have that many bonsai and money trees, considering that the Chinese New Year starts on the 29th. It is the Year of the Snake. Giving and getting them is considered good luck. People could be going on Esty and PalmStreet to get them and other plants. I have gotten plants through these sites and I am pleased with the nurseries and sellers I deal. Seeing the plants in the nurseries shows you how well they are being cared for. With my cacti and succulents I like to know their history, such as whether they were seed grown or from cuttings. I have some cacti that are five to 15 years old. I also have one that was rescued from the Mojave Desert. People are fleeing CA and moving to new developments in AZ. The developers bulldoze the plants down to make way for new housing developments and then burn the plants in piles. You said that you were thinking of getting a puppy. I have two senior dogs that are very demanding. Keep making your videos. I continue to be one of your plant foldees.

I have never heard of snowy morning pothos. I will look that up.

I am not fond of the enjoy pothos. The leaves are much smaller than I like in a pothos. Victoria

I finally found the golden pathos in so cal at a Home Depot near me. I am now looking for the snow queen. The pathos was one of my first house plant when I was a little girl. I still love them today!!!!! I use to plant directly into ceramic pots. Now I put them in plastic pots and put them into ceramic ones. It is easier to get them out of the plastic pots when it comes time to up pot them. Victoria

Peace lillys are a nice plant. The main thing is figuring out their watering schedule. They do prefer rain water or water that has been set out for at least 24 hours. Also,every once in a while they do like liquid seaweed as a fertilizer and it makes the foliage dark green and blooms better.

Syngonium Albo. Years ago there was a young girl RUclipsr that put her syngonium Albo in Leca. It was gorgeous. Richie how do you feel IKEA‘s Leca Compares in price to what you can get from Amazon? I’m gonna need a lot.

@21:34 the variegated peperomia leaves burn easily so keeping it out of direct sunlight or even from under a grow light will prevent the leaves from burning. They also have fine roots so while the leaves are succulent like they actually need the soil to be moist. Things I’m learning growing this plant

RICHIE, HOW do I get my Red Siam's, and my Lady Valentine to colour up? They are under T5 Barrina Grow lights, they are growing, but not colouring up? Any Ideas to help me get some colour? Thank You.
