Am I the only one that feels kind of underwhelmed and disappointed to how they decided to end it? Along with the episode before this the moment Vi was having a breakdown in the cell she should've ripped Cait a new one and Cait then tells her how she feels and both have MAJOR development in that moment am I crazy !?!?😅😅 and to add a cherry on top literally nobody else had any resolution at all and because of this and how disappointed I AM I had to watch The Wild Robot TWICE along with BUMBLEBEE !!!!!!!!!
Yes and no. That universe belonged to a different person. An Ekko who hadn't spent more than a decade watching Powder murder his friends. That's why he led with "Can we pretend" before the kiss. He has those feelings for her, but this is not his world. He isn't this person, too much has happened.
In the very first episode of the show, Powder saw a blimp and said "One day, I'm gonna ride one of those things." I strongly believe she's still alive. That last shot is there for a reason.
What if it a symbolism of her passing? Like she dreamed to ride one of those things when she was little and she passed and her soul is passing on that ship
@@ΘΘΝΘ-β5ξ All the proof so far: Silcos speach about walking away to break a cycle - jinx says shes gonna do that / A litlle red line animation right before Vander explodes, for a second, why animate that single 1 line escaping the explosion? Its bcs its jinx escaping / Last 2-3 mins of the ep are about Caitlyn looking at the ventilation system exactly where Jinx fell, why waste last minutes of the show on Cait randomly looking at the vent ducts? / Jinx or "powder" in episode 1 saying one day shes gonna ride one of the blimps - showing a blimp at the end of the episode.
If you slow down the explosion, right at the start you can se a single streak of purple shimmer. Suspiciously looking like it is going towards the air vents that Caitlyn is looking into. (This is also why people suspect Caitlyn smirks as she looks at the blueprints and the bomb. She thinks she figured it out.)There is a genuine possibility, she survived and with the explosion. She faked her death, she outran it before the explosion went off.
What kills me is that If you think about it, you literally can t think of a timeline where Jayce and Viktor live happily. Viktor always dies of illness without meeting Jayce and inventing hextech, and Jayce always commits s*icide without meeting Viktor and inventing hextech (hence why they aint in the alternate universe without hextech)... In a way we saw their "happiest" timeline, which is a tragedy in itself, coz if they dont meet they die, if they meet they cause death.
@@requiemlul3140 i believe that its not 100% victors decision to do that, he might be corrupted by the void or the hex core itself to do the things he does
The actual quote is "There is no prize to perfection. Only an end to pursuit." He's basically saying that in eliminating all suffering he eliminated the need for existence. Everything was just peaceful solitude, and that's not living.
@@Pandamonium626Not just peaceful, but empty. Viktor admitted that he ripped out the meaning from peoples lives, and just left them as soulless husk. They had no "dreams," and ambitions. They were all under the thrall of Viktor's mind, so they didn't even have any true agency or consciousness. He bassically subjected them to a fate worse than death.
Just to be clear, Jinx is alive. When Cait was looking at the hexgate design and the piece of Jinx bomb, she smiled because she figured out that Jinx escaped through the air conducts that they showed us. The explosion was right below the tunnels. Jinx found the way to walk away from everyone like Silco said, because she believed that everyone would be better without her. In the last scene we can see the shot of an airship with Jinx signature after. Powder said ,, One day i'm gonna ride one of those things'' in S1 E1
Also if we pay attention we see that right before the explosion there was a split-second purple streak that went in the direction of the tunnel, which should indicate that Jinx escaped.
Yeah, and it's why I feel like they really messed up with the ending. Basically the entire show is introducing these awesome things, and then the entire point is how those things are actually terrible and we need to get rid of them. There was nothing satisfying or fun in this ending.
@@AzulApe It felt like it but acctualy done right. Like Infinity war. It was the classic heros work togheter to defeat the big bad but characters acctualy died and it had risk to it so it was good for me. edit: also the fact that singed basically the worst guy and true main villian gets the happiest ending is also bizzare, good way not "MCU heroes win" way
Jinx definitely lived. This show doesn't treat their audience as idiots so they didn't show it outright but left enough clues to pick up on it, which is awesome. When the explosion goes off, you can see the line of shimmer going out of the explosion, then later Caitlyn is looking at the blueprints of the shaft that Jinx fell into, showing you there's a vent in the same direction of where the line of shimmer went towards earlier, then the final shot is an unknown blip flying off away from Piltover, which in Season 1 Powder said she'd love to one day do, and then you get the Jinx-like "THE END" flash on the screen before the credits. Jinx is on the blip, leaving Piltover behind and both Vi & Cait are probably aware she's alive, but giving her time & space, just like Jinx said earlier "Always with you, even when we're worlds apart.".
Yeah, I definitely agree. Like, maybe I could buy the blueprints and the airship as coping/a nice theory - but there is no way in hell Fortiche put in that shimmer trail there for no reason. The trail is what takes it from probable to certain for me.
I agree that Jinx is most likely alive, but I don't think Cait and Vi know. Vi, just like Ekko, believes completely that she sacrificed herself in the explosion. Cait wonders why the remains other than the top piece of the monkey bomb cannot be found and investigates the airduct system of the hextower in the Kirraman computer, but soon gets interrupted by Vi's humming.
@@JustCauseFan it does for Jinx's arc. In the cell, Jinx finally reach the conclusion that the only end to the cycle is to walk away. At first she sees this as dying, but Ekko puts her on another path. So she walked away from everything to maybe build something better somewhere else.
@@Yanukun1 Swain on power levels could have stop viktor in a fight, remember how little power was shown in this show, the stories that are to come are going to be more epic, maybe nowhere near as touching but will be a spectacle for sure.
@@vidiveniviciDCLXVI I remember Darius having a rather emotional comic years back. he and Draven grew up as orphans as well. then we know nothing of Swain's childhood and earlier days. considering we're gonna get Ionia's invasion for sure, they can include Riven as well. these are all fertile ground for emotional stories. there's nothing stopping Riot from making Noxian storyline as emotional as P&Z one.
@@mformotivation9152 Yeah, you make a good point, I only said this because Jinx and Vi was such a powerful emotional story I am finding it hard to top it in my mind. The Riven story could well be an epic tale for sure.

To think that, when Jayce said to the figure "I won't fail, I swear it", he was actually promising it to the SAME person he was going to kill. That's why he was so obsessed with seeing it through and so sure of what he was doing, because he promised it to Viktor.
the animation with viktor is the most beautiful things visually and emotionally in the whole season for me !! 💜 viktor was my favorite character and i never lost hope in his goodness. im glad 💜
I didn't even hate him lol I was mostly in shock and confused that he was so cold and killed Salo in "cold blood" as soon as he came back. His actions and behavior definitely made sense after this though...
"We'll show them...We will show them all..." and that you did, Riot...I applauded everyone who worked on this. It has officially gone down as a staple of animated history, and will be remembered for many decades to come, if not longer. You can sure as Hell bet that I'll be there for the next series, however long that'll take, and every series after. 💜
If Powder didnt help they both would do s..t since the device would not have been built and no one would stop Victor. So in the end Powder stopped the end times with helping Ekko and chaning his mind. Ekko failed to save Powder in s1 and kinda help her in s2 but still failed to save her.
@@staLkerhuYe i agree Jayce was really good, but you gotta understand Ekko could have stay with Powder, but instead he tried to save everyone with Jinx and lost everything. But Jayce was absolutely great
I just want to say thank you guys for the jorney, and Denise, your the MVP for pumping this vids so damn fast!!! Tgis show will forever be one of the greatest!
Thank you for tagging along man, it means so much to us. Denise absolutely killed it. Not only was she fast with the edits but it takes a different kind of editing beast to get these done with one hand while sobbing and sipping your tears with the other haha ❤️
To whoever was responsible for the grinding that is putting the 3 reactions the next day after its premiere, my most sincere admiration for your hard work.
That would be our amazing in-house editor Denise. She’s been hard at work all day, now she’s crying in a corner because Arcane is over. Bought her pizza to make up for it ❤️😂
I hate that this masterpiece is over, but this is as close to the best outcome we could get. Hex tech is gone, Ambessa and the Black Rose are gone, Jinx and Vander are at peace, Piltover and Zaun are finally united and at peace, and Vi and Cait are not only together and got a true happy ending.
Given what we know Black Rose aren't gone but I can't see them messing around with Mel since Ambessa is dead. If we follow the crow at the end into the next show he'll probably have some dealings with them if it's his rise to power.
Kinda jarring that a warrior as strong as Ambessa dies from something as simple as thorns. Unlike the other victims, she wasn’t crushed by the thorns either as Mel was there to save her. She kinda deserved to die after what she had done but we do understand why she did those acts. Besides, she is the newly released champion lol. It’s wild that they killed her off. I don’t know which is canon anymore because Riot once said that Arcane universe is now canon.
Can we just say Ekko was the MVP at the end 😭 Jayce certainly helped guide Viktor back to sanity. But maaaaan if Ekko hadn't had the will to go the distance, the world would be doomes. That boi saved the world. What a fuhkin' hero 🔥🔥🔥
I bet whoever wrote this episode was like, “Let’s add a little montage to break the audiences hearts.” Still kinda wish this series was longer but damn probably one of the most beautiful and heartwarming animated shows I had ever seen my whole life. 🥺💗👏
Omg the montages man, those damn montages!!! They keep killing us with those 😭 This show is honestly unforgettable and we really don't know how we're gonna move on from this!
@@marcoslugo6132 As a LeBlanc Main and from what we have seen in Arcane my guess would be that she can break hard CC (seen with breaking LBs chains), reflect projectiles (skill shots) and something else. Reflecting skill shots was something I wrote years ago in some forum (new champion idea) and I would love to see it with her. Her ult is probably just a nuke made out of light.
I suspected her as a upcoming character ever since season 1. She had the aesthetics of a character but I always thought if she were a character, she had to be a AP caster just by her design. Looks more and more likely now.
@@sciencehistoryandentertain734 Cool theory but those people are very wrong. I won't go into lore too much just in case it spoils the next project but Leblanc is older than Noxus itself, she has been around a VERY long time compared to Mel
The only champion from lol we see dying is Ambessa. Heimer,Jayce,Vik,Jinx,WW, we do not see any of their bodies. If the writters want them to be back, they can
I don't think Mel save Ambessa just to left her die, her soul might get imprisoned by Leblanc because if she wants to kill her she would be able to do so earlier. Heim just get back to bundle city because they are immortal.
heimer is a yordle, they can pretty much just say "he respawned back at bandle city because yordles cant die!" and it would be correct since yordles are extremely magical and weird lore wise xD they did show heimerdinger exploding while testing the z drive but maybe his body dies but then his magic essence goes back to bandle,, or it doesnt, riot can do anything with yordles but, its nice to think he is still alive same goes with jayce and viktor, u can just think they went to another dimension or ended up existing somewhere else far far away of reality but still together as friends, ambessa can comeback as a leblanc puppet, its not happy but it can make sense as to how she can be alive in the canon ww can just get experimented on again back to life by singed or someone for,, "a reason" but i doubt they would, his ending and story should be done. and jinx can be theorized that she survived and escaped the explosion by leaping into the air vents that caitlyn was looking at at the end, for a few frames there was a pink line flash right before the explosion,, said pink dash was something always attributed to jinx's shimmer speed,,,
I think Ambessa is the champion of the “Wolf” or something along those lines in her lore, she has a connection with Kindred so if the Grim Reaper from the League universe is in her side then she definitely has a chance of coming back
People (including me) theorize that Jinx is alive, they gave us a lot of hints pointing to her survival. I can explain them if anyone is curious. Also it’s a good way to cope.
Even if Arcane doesn’t directly follow LoL lore, its incredibly unlikely Viktor, Jayce, Jinx, Warwick, and Ambessa are all dead for good considering they are still champions.
@@robertgandy9792 There's a shimmer trail running away right before the explosion + Cait looking at the vents right under where they fell + the sky ship Powder said she'd ride someday at the end
They never found Jinx's body. Note that Cate is looking at the air ducts of the tower while looking at the remains of the munky bomb. There was also a very short flash of pink just before the explosion. Next is the ending sean, which is in Jinx's style floating away on an air ship. So She may have gotten the chance to just walk away from it all.
I'm not ready to say goodbye...goodbye goodbye...goodbye goodbye...ohhh. I absolutely applaud you Riot, Fortiche, Christian Linke, the entire crew. You people have made cinematic history that will be remembered until the end of time. I will wait anxiously for the next piece of art these guys come out with...however long that takes...I'll be there...for every...single...one, and I'll remember to bring tissues. 💜
@@OfficialMediaKnights On the bright side, we all know it's a "see you later" rather than goodbye. We'll all be back here in 3-4 years for the Noxus show, I'm sure! No way are they leaving us with that open Black Rose+Mel+Raven ending and not continuing the journey there next.
That crow teases the Noxus Storyline after Arcane. It's either the beginning of Swain or the birth of Fiddlesticks. Noxus probably the next story since Black Rose appearance and I feel like that was LeBlanc.
It's definitely Swain rather than Fiddlesticks; six eyes, it was looking to see if the Jayce/Viktor implosion left any artefacts and it flies with the Noxus fleet. It does grieve me that they left that character shadowed rather than just pulling the trigger for it to be Leblanc, it's not like non-league audience would be confused cause you're just introducing another character like they've already done previously..
It was definetly Leblanc because of the "power" we see in the show (chains and cloning and perhaps the teleportation Amara used is another hint) and also the marks/makeup under the eyes on Black rose antagonist its exactly like Leblanc chracter. And imo its 99% Swain his rise in Noxus.
@@mindslaver8658 let me give you another bullet for your gun: Mel called her "the Deceiver". that's Leblanc's title. literally. I really hope we get proper background for Darius as well. he's more than a simple brute with an axe. Swain will be great for sure. not as emotional as Vi & Jinx, but clearly as entertaining.
Don't think anyone has mentioned it here, and it took me a second watch to realise. The reason the bomb didn't go off, is because Maddie sabotaged it with the nail. She was carrying it the whole time. Should have been a clue on the first watch really.
When Maddie first showed up she recognized drunk Vi and claimed it was from her face tattoo, but she couldn't have seen the tattoo because it was on the other side facing away from her.
Ohhh those bunny ears 😭 Also definitely did not notice the shimmer dash, Jinx being alive would absolutely save my (Denise) day because I have been a wreck!
Man, this series was EPIC! Well, I'm happy that the two sides of the Utopia are together in peace, Vi and Caitlyn are together. Jinx is alive if you don't know, she is able to move quick with the Shimmer ability, so you can see when she bombs Warwick she escapes just before the explosion, and Caitlyn saw that Jinx is alive by looking at the escape routes she took. Apart from that, I think Riot games should make more LoL shows, cos this one was actually AMAZING!
I have to say that you two were my safe place after each act, seeing that you reacted with the same emotion, with the same suffering, with the same laughter, with the same excitement, simply made me feel accompanied. It was a pleasure to be on this journey with you guys. My favs always
And with that the emotional rollercoaster that is Arcane comes to an end... I haven't ugly cried so much as I have in the past 3 weeks. Thank you Riot, Fortiche and all the amazing VA's ...and thank you guys for always being one of the best reactors to Arcane!!
Okay, I've watch season 2 and collected a lot of thoughts behind it. I'll try and do this justice. I think Season 2 did fit in well with the season 1 beginning, thought I do not think it was as high a masterpiece as season 1. Season one what very well developed with its character development, story development and its pacing. You knew the characters, their motivations and their capacities, and could see the stakes as each episode unfolded. You had the two magic maguffins of shimmer and hextech and although their limits weren't too well developed they did at least seem to balance each other out. Although the black rose magic appeared it didn't drastically change the stakes too much and you were left a little confused on how it played out. In season 2 however, I thought the timeline of events was a little more chaotic, and since they developed the black rose maguffin and the glorious evolution cosmic maguffin of Viktors it was a lot harder to understand limits and thus the stakes, for a lot of it I didn't understand the stakes from the undefined capacities. This being said, lets look at some of the various aspects of the season. 1) Character development this was still really good in some parts (Isha, Vander/Warwick, Ekko, Vi, Jinx, Sevika, and to a lesser degree Caitlynn) and sadly not so much in some respects (Maddie, Loris, Heimerdinger, Riktus). Isha was critical to the development of Jinx, Powder was critical to the development of Ekko, JIinx was critical to the development of Vi, Sevika, Caitlynn, Ambessa, Jayce and Viktor were critical to the development of the story. Maddie was all over the place, first she was sweet, then she was out of her depth in battle, then she was in the sheets with Caitlynn (totally jarring as we've seen how regimented Caitlynn is and even with Vi where there is a connection takes a long time to progress any kind of relationship), and then to turning against Caitlynn to side with Ambessa someone not even from Piltover. Loris was introduced by he didn't really do much to impact the development or story he was just kind of there, and had some lines. A glorified version of the green alien looking enforcer, the one that tried setting the charge on the sphere when Noxus forces arrived. Heimerdinger was pretty underwhelming, sure he was critical to moving the story forwards, but he was there, and then suddenly he wasn't, somewhat odd for such a major character. 2) The script was mostly really good save for the fact I thought the audience wasn't clearly able to understand the stakes as well as in season 1. Vi and Jinx's development was amazing, Ekko's was strong and much better than in season 1. The season started off hot with following up right after season 1, followed by the event at the memorial, the stakes up to that part were as great as in season 1. Developing Ekko was crucial to the script, at first i thought it was a lot of wasted time for no stakes but the in follow up reviews saw how important it was to the character and story development. Isha was vital to developing not just the story but also Jinx, and I liked a lot of the details like the parallels surrounding Isha, and even details like the helmet Isha wore (when the helmet was on she felt/was safe, when it came off she felt/was vulnerable). What the did with both Isha and Warwick/Vander were pretty gut wrenching but at this point do we expect less? Jayce's script helps us understand the stakes a little better, but he did spend a good portion of it trapped in a hole with it only seeming to serve to help explain Jayce's desperation. the rest of it though in his dialogue with Viktor helps ties up loose ends to wrap up the storyline. Ekko's storyline gives us a peak into Echo's character development and really flushes out and resolves for the audience what could have been with Powder if the tragedies didn't unfold showing us the spark of hope we all had clung to in Jinx. Saying this and unpopular opinion: Every tragedy that unfolded in this story can be linked all back to Ekko for failing to listen to Vander twice. first by following Jayce back to find the location of his lab (stay out of Piltover's business), and second by passing on the tip to Vi about the lab (stay out of Piltover's business). If he hadn't done both of these mistakes in succession, there would have been no explosion at the lab, no enforcers sent to the undercity perceiving the lanes as a threat, and so the councilors likely wouldn't have okayed the development of hextech from that perceived threat, Vander would not have given himself up and made himself vulnerable, and thus would have with Benzo managed control of the lanes longer. Grayson wouldn't have died and thus managed to keep the peace with the Lanes, Viktor wouldn't have partnered up with Jayce to develop hextech fast enough before Viktor's time was up. The alternate reality even suggests there may have been no hextech at all, and thus no glorious evolution threat. This whole chain of events can stem all the way back to Ekko screwing up not just once, but twice. exactly the same way in succession. The black rose magic maguffin was more fleshed out but still wasn't very well developed in the sense of you never really understood it's limitations or capacities, same with Viktor's cosmic maguffin. we never really got a sense of its capacity and limitations so it was very hard to follow the stakes, you more or less had to hold on and see what happened. They developed Ambessa very well to move the story along and she grew into the villain we always suspected, though i always did wonder how she managed to survived the train arriving scene when clearly everything else in Warwick's path didn't. They did include several gut wrenching scenes, first when Vi, Jinx, Vander/warwick, Isha had their reunion, When Isha sacrificed herself for Jinx, and when Jinx in turn sacrifices herself for Vi. (Side note, upon review it appears strongly that Jinx is alive, the animators clearly drew in a pink streak speeding away at last second, Caitlynn uses her detective skills to peruse the air ducts while holding part of one of Jinx's monkeys, and the ending scene of a blimp flying off into the distance to callback Powder's dialogue of 'one day I'm going to ride in one of those things'. Also it wouldn't be the first time Jinx survives one of her explosions as she did on the bridge with her fight with Ekko in season 1. Ultimately you knew from the onset, there was never going to be any fairytale ending, Jinx had done too much and as the script writes to move forwards you have to sacrifice a little. Isha teaches Jinx about having something to move forwards and sacrifice for, and Jinx finally accepts Vi as always her sister by the end. something the audience needed to have at very least. 3) The dialogue still just as good with several impactful lines ' what are you waiting for, he's your dad too', when Vander is in the bar and says something to the effect of making sure to at some point spend some of your time for yourself. The dialogue with Ekko learning to move forwards you have to sacrifice a little and leave it behind, and of course Jinx's 'Always with you sis, even when we're world's apart' 4) The scores were alot more impactful i thought in season two, sure you had some great ones in season 1, but in season two they seemed to hit harder, it may be because of all the development up to this point they hit harder. 5) The voice actors again were nailing every line and you really felt like you were there with them every step of the way for the most part. They with the script really made you feel like when the story ended you were saying goodbye to friends. Absolutely required to live up to the first one. 6) The animation was again top notch, from the different styles of animation to sell the mood and deliver the story Such as when Jinx and Isha are playing, to the slow motion battle sequences, to when the scene the scenes of Vi, Powder and Vander in a scrap book drawing format burning away to mirror/imply Vander's memories being burned away from Warwick entirely, to even all the small subtle details like Isha's helmet, the score tallies on the wall in the Last Drop bar during the alternate time line, to the fact that in the alternate reality when Vander raises Powder she has a hairstyle more like Vanders, rather than during the storyline's reality her hairstyle as Jinx is more like Silco's. So many intricate details like this in every scene, again the animators really flexed their skills with this in season 2 as well. I agree with you that some of it perhaps feel like a few more scenes could have been more fleshed out to smooth it over (rushed/chaotic) such as Maddie's arc was pretty jarring, Jayce being stuck in a hole for so long.. and me personally i did think the scene in the jail cell when Jinx locked Vi up went on longer than actually needed, it was more gratuitous and fan service. where as almost nothing is shown with Caitlynn and Maddie, and the only reason Mel and Jayve had theirs is because the scene was mixed with over laps and cuts to mirror other story development happening in the lab. All in all it does fit together well with season one, but i wouldn't give it as much of a masterpiece designation as I did with season 1. it wrapped up the story, and maybe you didn't get everything you wanted, but you did get everything you needed out of it. I think this series will be highly analyzed and discussed for many years to come, and really sets the bar as to what an animation series can do. I really enjoyed watching it from start to finish, and it's a testament to the entire production when you miss the series when it is over, and it really leaves you wanting more. We have been spoiled as an audience with a production this well written and produced.
After we had time to process we realized Caitlyn was also looking at plans of where the explosion went down…why? One can assume she was looking for a body. Jinx is out there.
@@OfficialMediaKnights before explosion u can see purple/pink flash and its jinx, she escaped right before explosion and final scene shows boat heading somewhere and its jinx inside cuz she wanted to leave this place, and let vi enjoy her life with cait
If you slow down the video and look carefully you’ll see pink shimmer streak flying away from the explosion, it’s Jinx using her shimmer superspeed. It’s confirmed at the end when Caitlin looks through schematics of the building and sees those ventilation shafts
Jinx Alive : Caitlyn smiling when she sees in kiramman archives that there are ventilation shafts where Jinx could have escaped because her body wasn't found, the explosion scene shows a trail of shimmer running away, and in the first episode of the first season powder says that one day she will fly in an airship, which is how the second season ends.
For those who don't know, the raven that arrived at the end is one of Swain's ravens that probably took the Hextech sphere and went with Mel to Noxus, he is another member of the Black Rose. In the end it turns out that the mage they called the deceiver is LeBlanc, leader of the Black Rose. I guess the Black Rose won in the end.
Incorrect, Swain is one of the three grand leaders of Noxus, infact he was the one that overthrow the last emperor of Noxus (Who was being used by Le blanc), and the one that the Black Rose wants death the most, as his cunningness and intelligence constantily puts him two or three steps ahead of Le blanc, so the next stage of Arcane is probably going to be a spin off about Swain raise in power, Ionia and the Black Rose plans.
Hello League of Legends/Runeterra lore master and lore lover is back to work. And I must say that even with my knowledge of Runeterra lore. I'm just overwhelmed by a big mental blow. I'm also glad that Riot Games bought out Fortiche studios because it was confirmed that they are already working on something else and apparently it won't just be cinematics, series but probably also movies. Well, I'll probably have to wait for some explanation from Necrit because this finale was simply heartbreaking. When Necrit returns from America A.L. Arcane dernieru what he received as an invitation. So I'm sure when he returns he will release Arcane season 2 explaination and hidden details he will definitely release at least 2 videos. _________ . . . . . . It was great that they showed us hints of Leblack, Swain, Oriana, the potential that Mel could become a new champion, parallel worlds and Silco in every scene he appeared he stole the spotlight. -------------------------- And the way Riot Games ended the stories by killing 6 champions is just wow. --‐‐‐----------------------- The new champion Ambesa Metard got extra love from Riot Games and the official IP team. Cinematic Blood sweat and tears, a story on the League website and after Arcane came out the Novel book Arcane Ambesa Chosen of the Wolf. And its ending is great. Heimerdinger finally got a good story, not just some character description on the League website, a preview in the Jinx comic and the lore game Hextech Mayhem. And even though he is a Yordle, so he should return/reborn in Bandle City = Spirit Realm but I don't think that will happen. Jace and Viktor are a big question, because I can't say for sure if they died or if they are ending the "timeloop" paradox of parallel universes (#blue stone with always a different Rune). Warwick is still questionable, because he could possibly return in his more werewolf form from the Cinematics and games. And Jinx = Powder her sacrificial death hit me the deepest in the heart. Her beginning with the Get Jinx Cinematic and her ending in Arcana created by the same French studio Fortiche, it's the greatest love story for art.
The last moment of explode, if u watch slowly ( 0.5 ) ,you can see the telltale pink line of jinx moving at shimmer speed as the explosion happens. we also see ww is also crying, i think he let her go and she was able to escape the explosion
for the ones reading that want a bit more optimistic look over the champion character deaths: Heimer is a yordle, they can pretty much just say "he respawned back at bandle city because yordles cant die!" and it would be correct since yordles are extremely magical and weird lore wise xD They did show Heimerdinger exploding while testing the z drive but maybe his body dies but then his magic essence goes back to bandle,, or it doesnt, riot can do anything with yordles but, its nice to think he is still alive same goes with Jayce and Viktor, u can just think they went to another dimension or ended up existing somewhere else far far away of reality but still together as friends, and Jinx can be theorized that she survived and escaped the explosion by leaping into the air vents that caitlyn was looking at at the end, for a few frames there was a pink line flash right before the explosion,, said pink dash was something always attributed to jinx's shimmer speed,,, These 2 arent optimistic but it can explain them coming back to life: Ambessa can comeback as a leblanc puppet, its not happy but it can make sense as to how she can be alive in the canon WW(vander) can just get experimented on again back to life by singed or someone for,, "a reason" but i doubt they would, his ending and story should be done.
I’m not gonna lie what they did to vander aka Warwick pretty horrifying and sad. Imagine seeing you dad already a monster and now driven more as a monster but his design was pretty dope
Also as one side note about Vi.. Vi I think is the true hero of it all, despite all of her flaws she spends almost all of the entire series season 1 and season 2 spending her time for the benefit of other people. Despite that being one of her flaws that she does eventually acknowledge and address, it's also one of the things that makes her in my eyes the biggest hero.
Jinx did not die in the explosion. Instead, after burying Vander with her own hands, she faked her own death and completely entrusted Vi to Caitlyn. In the dungeon, hearing Silco's whispers once again, she resolved to break free from the cycle of her fate in the twin cities. No matter her identity or original intentions, her actions only brought pain to herself and those around her. Ironically, she is the type who cares most deeply about her family. Fortunately, Ekko stopped Jinx from following through with her thoughts of suicide. His emotional arc in another timeline wasn’t superfluous. His experience inventing the Z-Drive with Jinx helped him realize that her madness didn’t stem solely from familial tragedies or the twisted nature of the undercity. Instead, it came from the struggles she would face even in a relatively peaceful environment-balancing her pursuit of self-worth with her inability to let go of familial bonds. “Some birds are not meant to be caged; their feathers shine with the light of freedom.” Or, in other words, Jinx is simply Jinx. Across all timelines, no matter what she endures-be it the warmth of a harmonious family or the agonizing distortions of causing loved ones’ deaths-her soul cannot be confined. She is destined to be a solitary figure. After saving Vi, the one person she truly cared about, Jinx finally boarded the airship she always dreamed of flying, free to chase her true self without the weight of pain. I think I fully understand Silco now-Jinx is perfect.
it got me in tears as i read your explanation. "After saving Vi, the one person she truly cared about, Jinx finally boarded the airship she always dreamed of flying, free to chase her true self without the weight of pain." - absolute tragedy, she cared about Vi the most, yet she needs to leave. Man, arcane season 2 destroyed me
This is why it's so frustrating whenever I see people blame Vi... even hating her to the point saying that she shouldn't have existed in the first place. Jinx/Powder will always need her sister, always love her sister. In every time line their bond as sisters remained true. Jinx would never truly hate Vi, and neither would Vi.
Fun fact I didn't catch until second watching: The small airship/balloon that Jinx, Ekko, and the firelights show up on? It's Jinx's home/lab/hideout, Normally we just see her walking on the propeller blades, but yeah she apparently fixed it up and got it airborne somehow. It's literally been right there in front of us the entire time XD
Jinx is alive, she goes away in that blimp just like she wanted to fly one of those in s1e1. When we see Vander blowing up the candle, before the explosion there is that pink shimmer line from the explosion towards top-right. Cate looked at the left overs of the bomb. The pieces remained yet not a piece of body, Cate looked into the tower schematics and saw ventilation pipes leading out. Meaning Jinx faked her death and left, Vi thinking Jinx is dead can move on with her life without constant worry or guilt, so now Vi will not rush to find her. Jinx left everyone behind so she can move forward.
Just finished watching the finale. i cried like a baby. listened to some arcane songs and tried to calm down. watched your reaction. crying like a baby again.
Jinx is alive with the callback to ep 1 with her wanting to ride an airship and her finding the will to simply walk away. It could have been more explicit but I think this quiet and vague ending fits her really well imo
I'm pretty sure out of everyone who... "died" only one of them actually did. I go by the rule if you don't see the body, they're probably still alive. The only one for sure is Ambessa. And this isn't me "coping" I legit went through the episodes over and over again after thinking about them and seeing what other people thought. Jinx, you clearly see a streak of purple/pink moving away just before the explosion. Couple that with Cait looking at the vents where she fell and then a shot of the blimp, the thing that Powder said she wanted to ride at the start of the show. She pulled a Loki and removed herself from the people she cared about. Viktor & Jayce, these guys are literally magic now and probably teleported somewhere else the way there were just sucked into Jayce's gem, the gem that Future Viktor gave him then implanted into his arm. Warwick, motherf*cker survived one explosion, a super charged one at that, and before that his head being split open. Doubt he's dead either. Heimerdinger, again if he died I would have expected a body or dust left in his place. He probably teleported somewhere else after linking the time-machine. Overall, amazing show. I'm expecting either cameos or crossovers to whatever new show takes over. I'm hoping to continue Mel's story and the Black Rose storyline.
We need a continuation…however that may come. They set too many great things with this season. And yes, we agree. If there’s no body there not dead. Thought about it while we were editing. That shot of Caitlyn looking at the plans plus everything else you mentioned makes it clear Jinx is out there. Silco foreshadowed it.
she is alive first when the explosion happens before that u can see a purple line for a single frame ( same as jinx super speed ) second cat see the blueprint there will be lot of ventilation in that chamber where the bomb explode ( jinx escaped through that vent ) plus ekko said before these ventilation spread throughout underground city third the last scene u can see a blimp ( powder said in first episode oneday she want to travel in that blimp ) and we can see jinx scribbles at the end of that scene means she is leaving piltover and zaun fourth i believe jinx is going to noxus ( is a region the next arcane story will be focused i think so) because we saw swain's crow (sixeye) travel along with the jinx's blimp ( maybe to cure warwick/vander i dont know)
Realized the Cait thing as we were editing this! She’s definitely out there. We’re truly hoping the next show will be a continuation of sorts. Even if it’s not in the same region or have the same characters.
It may not be Swain, but Raum (the demon). Don't know if Swain got his new arm or not in this timeline... so it's just waiting until the next piece of media comes
@@USfuldoesn’t the triafex form after the ionian war where swain looses his arm and makes a deal with raum though? (I’m not the best with timeline lore so I could be wrong)
Jinx is alive. Remember 1x1, she always wanted to fly that airship in the last scene. Cait is looking at Jinx's grenade and the schematics of the building where she "exploded" together with Warwick, theres several ducts leading out of the building. If u slow down the scene with the explosion you can see a shimmer trail leading out through those ducts, thats her. Jinx wanted to die, but Silco's "ghost" suggested she should run away and start fresh. After she actually managed to save someone from death for once she felt there were perhaps a place for her in this world afterall.
i cant even begin to express how awesome it is that you guys have consistently gotten these reactions out so fast AND make them such quality videos. Been subbed to the channel for a while now, you guys are among the top in my head when it comes to commentary and the vibe here is always great. Arcane has been a wonderful journey to share with you guys, cant wait till we get our next taste of what riot has to offer!
While the second season may not be as narratively flawless as the first one, this show is one of television's most unforgettable shows. Looking forward to Riot's next projects.
@@brilobox2 Flawless is probably the wrong descriptor but it's leaps and bounds above S2 in terms of everything from character development/plotting, dialogue and overarching narrative. These last two acts were rushed as hell and I'm eagerly awaiting recency bias to fade so we can have a decent conversation about the flaws cause right now every fan just has sparkles in their eyes glazing it to high heaven.
Tiny piece of Lore Deep Dive: The Wolf is also the Noxian embodiment of death. Most Runeterrans cultures see death as a duality, on one side the Lamb and the other the Wolf. Ambessa's Canon prequel music video strongly suggests that she made a literal deal with death while pregnant with Mel. She has always known Mel was special, but constantly challenged her as "not the wolf," and we took that as a metaphor, but Ambessa meant it. She didn't see the promise of the power of Death in her daughter. When she looks at Mel as she's dying, she says "You ARE the Wolf," she's also literally seeing death.
Christian Linke on Necrit's AMA said Riot has acquired part of Fortiche. So yeah... This partnership is in for the long haul ❤ it has been fun reliving Arcane with you guys
It's implied that Jinx is actually alive. After her bomb goes off, you see a quick purple streak moving away from the blast, questionably similar to her purple eye streaks when she uses her shimmer powers. On top of that, Cait is seen looking at the schematics of the tunnel that Vander and Jinx fell into, holding a piece of her bomb and smiling. She knows there were routes for her to get away. And lastly, Powder said she was gonna fly in one of Piltover's balloons in the very first episode. We see one flying away from Piltover in the end.
There's too many hints indicating she very probably survived. The flash of purple light when the blast happened, Cait looking at the scematics where you can see there's air ducts connecting the chamber, having a part of her monkey bomb, which clearly indicates they went there to search for her, but found no body, and the air ship flying away at the end, which is in line with her dream from S1 that she always wanted to fly one of those and also in line with what Silco said to her in her cell: Only way to end the cycle of death is, walk away. So, while it got me in the heart when it happened, after the episode was over, and I found out about these, this feeling immedately faded.
One Helluva ride. Arcane will go down in history as one of the best animated shows of all time. It was a joy watching you two react to both seasons. Now you need to watch "THE PENGUIN."
At least Singed got happy ending. Dont think he deserve it, but im still happy. I feel so sory for Jayce, Ekko and Mel, Jayce especially. The three eye crow is a crow that Swain is controling so Noxus is next. Hope Draven will be the main character or Urgot
Yeah, that just happened.... I give reactors mad credit for trying to process this show and talk about it because I don't know if I'll be able to do that a week from now much less real time. Thank you for having the guts to tackle something like Arcane.
You know at the last moment, when Jinx drew out the monkey bomb, Vander could saw that and regain his mind for a second and shield her from the blast. The monkey bomb was what reminds him of Power when they first encountered, also the flashback of vander seeing the monkey bomb in Powder's room.
It was a wild ride, y'all! I found your channel through Arcane reactions and I had an amazing time joining you on your journey through this amazing story! I'm sure enough comments on here have already pointed out that Jinx is likely alive -- there's a handful of minor hints outside of Caitlyn looking at the blueprint of the hexgate that suggests she survived. I've been reading a lot of discourse online and I've seen a lot of people unhappy with the idea that Jinx departing on her own is an unsatisfactory end for a suicidal, mentally-ill character (which I do understand), but I honestly really appreciated it. Without getting into my own personal struggles, I actually benefitted a lot from embarking on my own solo journey of self-discovery during my darkest days that ended up healing me in the long run. So I personally felt a lot of solidarity with the idea that Jinx is getting the opportunity to go on her own journey to re-discover herself (thereby continuing to justify my Jinx/Powder tattoo!). As a former Caitlyn main in LoL (2011 - 2015), I loved how badass she got to be in Arcane! I'm pissed she lost an eye, but she does look pretty badass with the eyepatch.
Don't worry guys, there are 3 main details that point out to Jinx's survival. The first one is on the explosion itself, there's a frame during it where you can see a long purple flash (shimmer) indicating that jinx avoided the blast last minute, this is further confirmed by Caitlyn afterwards when she's lookin through the Kiramann files and looks at the place where explosion took place and there are bunch of tunnels there, this kinda resembles how Luke avoided his death in "Empire Strikes Back" using the vents as a way to get out. The final detail is on the very last shot of the episode where you can see a scene with a zappelin that mirrors perfectly the scene from episode 1 of season 1 where Powder says " Someday i will ride on one of those" so in the end all is well, Jinx is just taking a deserved vacation for everything that she's been through, also leaving Vi and Caitlyn alone like she said she would back when she talked to Vi in prison.
@@monakasan7486 Couldn't say exactly, champions are not fool proof as we could see with Ambessa, but WW came back after an explosion with 3 hextech balls, this last time he only had to deal with one. If they want to bring him back they could do so, although i'd imagine by then, that we wouldn't be able to see any traces left by Vander, he would just be the WW we know from League.
At the end, Caitlyn is looking at the venting systems of the hexgates. Indicating she knows Jinx escaped through one of them. She is also smiling so I have a strong feeling jinx survived. Also in the first episode, she says “one day I’m gonna fly one of those things” talking about the air ship.
Jinx lived btw she escaped in the air ducts that is what Cait was looking at in the end of the episode and that was her on the blimp at the end. She walked away like Silco told her too.
This show has been one hell of an experience and experiencing it with you guys is a journey I'll hold dear in my heart. Still have many questions after the ending and I hope they gave us like a special mini episodes explaining everything so that I get to watch more of you guys reacting to Arcane and stuff. Anyways, Love you guys and love your reactions💗 MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU
Jinx is in fact alive. The beautiful thing about it though, is that when she's leaving on that blimp (Which is a call back to the very first episode of Arcane), she actively ends the cycle by leaving it all behind. The reason she tells Vi that she'll support her, even if they're worlds apart, is because Jinx in that moment knows that she's going to leave her, and knowing that Vi will never rest comfortably, being torn between Zaun's hero and Piltover's greatest enemy, Jinx wants her sister to know that she'll always support Vi no matter what and fakes her death, so that Vi can let Jinx go, but the even more beautiful thing about it is that Cait also ends the cycle by letting Jinx go. We see in the scene while Cait is looking at the schematics of the Hexgate of the vents, which Jinx used to escape. With the detective esc tone, and Cait's look, we know that she's more or less figured out that Jinx escaped alive. But she also doesn't tell Vi, because both Jinx and Cait both know that should Vi know, she'll never stop running after her sister and never have a peaceful day of rest. Thus, Cait lets Jinx go. In the end, the cycle is broken when both parties actively choose to end it, which is the most beautiful thing about Arcane's ending.
To people who say Jinx wouldnt escaped even if she had a chance, you are convinced that she had lost any hope or will to live, but the interesting detail that may be pointing to her still having something to hold to, is the design of her clothes after she makes an etrance on a balloon: after Isha's dead we see her top losing the X symbol, which may imply on the identity crisis even severer than the one of Powder\Jinx, but at the balloon scene we see it again present but painted on her clothes, to someone as me who really refuses to accept her death its a small but formidable hint of her having a reason and will to start anew
Jinx went through the vents, that’s why Caitlin was looking at the vents and you can see a stream before the explosion. She used shimmer and then road one of the airships as she said as a kid. Silco told her she would have to leave, this pointed to that.
32:23 Well.... you never actually saw Jinx's body, did you? As well, Arcane has been confirmed as the official canon for LoL, and both Vi and Jinx are in the game.... ;) Also, there is Jinx's scribbly stuff right at the end, and why else would they show you a blimp departing? Jinx is okay, but she did break the cycle and is going on her way as neither Jinx or Powder, just a blue-haired girl out to explore the world
@@icedcoffee-lf2nk Riot stated at some point that the lore of the game and the lore of Arcane exist in the same universe, and that Arcane lore supersedes original lore. So, Arcane is the origin story of Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Warwick, etc
I mean, Ambessa really spilled it during her scene with Vi in E6. She said something like she has filled a vacuum and distracted Cait or something. I was actually surprised barely anyone caught that, not the audience nor Vi. But I guess there was no moment for them to talk about this and connect the dots leading to Maddie.
@@fraker12 don't know where my initial reply went....but yeah, I was saying ALL WEEK that Ambessa used Maddie to "fill the vacuum" left by Vi. Vi just didn't realize it because she wasn't there. Ambessa supposedly "warned" Cait about professional entangelments....but I honestly think she CREATED them! Used Maddie as inside information to keep Cait going the direction she wanted her to. Plus....the way Maddie said it before she fired..."I APPRECIATED your warmth." Not loved, not enjoyed....APPRECIATED!! It was a JOB for her...with a bonus!

In the very first episode of the show, Powder saw a blimp and said "One day, I'm gonna ride one of those things." I strongly believe she's still alive. That last shot is there for a reason.
My theory is that she purposely faked her death so she could leave and figure herself out while at the same time letting Vi be happy with Cait
I defo think shes gonna appear as a main character of a spin off show
What if it a symbolism of her passing? Like she dreamed to ride one of those things when she was little and she passed and her soul is passing on that ship

Oh my gosh yes!! That's why it felt so familiar! :D
When she smiled it was because she heard Vi Singing.
Cait is fingering with a Jinx monkey toy head in that scene as well. Same with "The End" being in a Jinx font, It's all on purpose.
Also at the end, the last two notes of the music is the melody Jinx hummed on the bridge in season 1 as well!
I'm not gonna believe any of your hearsay until Riot themselves tells me Jinx is alive 😂
Also if we pay attention we see that right before the explosion there was a split-second purple streak that went in the direction of the tunnel, which should indicate that Jinx escaped.

The trail is what takes it from probable to certain for me.
it could also just be the producers way of leaving it up to your imagination, in my opinion it doesn't make sense she survived
Definitely agree, just like alternate timeline Silco and in episode 7, Jinx and Vi need time apart before they can rebuild their relationship.
@@JustCauseFan it does for Jinx's arc. In the cell, Jinx finally reach the conclusion that the only end to the cycle is to walk away. At first she sees this as dying, but Ekko puts her on another path. So she walked away from everything to maybe build something better somewhere else.

Jinx is alive
@@Morbius975how and proof the body??
@@rockerojerez349 Jinx definitely lived.
@rockerojerez349 JINX IS STILL ALIVE and she escaped, you can see a trail of shimmer escaping before explosion just watch that careful moreover caitlyn was looking at the blueprints' airducts for a reason btw in Arcane
things don't happen by accident💙
To think that, when Jayce said to the figure "I won't fail, I swear it", he was actually promising it to the SAME person he was going to kill. That's why he was so obsessed with seeing it through and so sure of what he was doing, because he promised it to Viktor.
bruh, you guys have the most popular arcane season 2 reactions on youtube! that’s so amazing!!
You guys have been the absolute best, your love and support is by far the best part of doing these ❤️ We’re happy you guys enjoy them.
the animation with viktor is the most beautiful things visually and emotionally in the whole season for me !! 💜 viktor was my favorite character and i never lost hope in his goodness. im glad 💜
everyone hated jayce but him and ekko basically saved everyones ass
I think the hate died down a bit after this, I know some people are stll gonna hate him but Im glad some people have seen why he was so desperate
That Jinx pull up with the Firelights is godly cinema
Right?! That whole segment was just iconic!!
Which doesn't make sense after season 1 and her being bat shit crazy she suddenly turns normal in season 2

One of Swain's crow got the hextech core
Kinda jarring that a warrior as strong as Ambessa dies from something as simple as thorns. Unlike the other victims, she wasn’t crushed by the thorns either as Mel was there to save her.
She kinda deserved to die after what she had done but we do understand why she did those acts.
Besides, she is the newly released champion lol. It’s wild that they killed her off. I don’t know which is canon anymore because Riot once said that Arcane universe is now canon.
Why do you think Hextech is gone? I thought only the Hexcore and the anomaly are gone with Jayce and Viktor
@@bismarck5537 i mean, LeBlanc sucked Ambessa's brains out, I guess that's enough to kill her, but yeah, her dying left me shocked
This has gotta be the greatest writing and visuals I’ve ever seen, honestly I can’t think of a better story.
After this, Mel needs to become a champion
I think that’s the plan! We already got Ambessa, she’s definitely next.
Shielding support that stops dashes to counter both LeBlanc and Ambessa 😂
If the writters want them to be back, they can
Ambesa will become Urgot
Jinx is alive
I don't think Mel save Ambessa just to left her die, her soul might get imprisoned by Leblanc because if she wants to kill her she would be able to do so earlier. Heim just get back to bundle city because they are immortal.
heimer is a yordle, they can pretty much just say "he respawned back at bandle city because yordles cant die!" and it would be correct since yordles are extremely magical and weird lore wise xD
they did show heimerdinger exploding while testing the z drive but maybe his body dies but then his magic essence goes back to bandle,, or it doesnt, riot can do anything with yordles but, its nice to think he is still alive
same goes with jayce and viktor, u can just think they went to another dimension or ended up existing somewhere else far far away of reality but still together as friends,
ambessa can comeback as a leblanc puppet, its not happy but it can make sense as to how she can be alive in the canon
ww can just get experimented on again back to life by singed or someone for,, "a reason" but i doubt they would, his ending and story should be done.
and jinx can be theorized that she survived and escaped the explosion by leaping into the air vents that caitlyn was looking at at the end, for a few frames there was a pink line flash right before the explosion,, said pink dash was something always attributed to jinx's shimmer speed,,,
I think Ambessa is the champion of the “Wolf” or something along those lines in her lore, she has a connection with Kindred so if the Grim Reaper from the League universe is in her side then she definitely has a chance of coming back
"What do all stories have in common dear wolf?"
*"They End!"*
Goodbye Arcane. We’re always with you. Even when we’re worlds apart. We’ll see each other again one day… across the river.

Now tell me im hopeless
Please tell me cause I’m also HOPING she’s alive
This is not a theory. Jinx is alive and well, it just left everything behind.

@@Ejay669 Maybe Mel and Swain team up to defeat le blanc
It was definetly Leblanc because of the "power" we see in the show (chains and cloning and perhaps the teleportation Amara used is another hint) and also the marks/makeup under the eyes on Black rose antagonist its exactly like Leblanc chracter. And imo its 99% Swain his rise in Noxus.
@@mindslaver8658 let me give you another bullet for your gun: Mel called her "the Deceiver". that's Leblanc's title. literally.

Don't think anyone has mentioned it here, and it took me a second watch to realise. The reason the bomb didn't go off, is because Maddie sabotaged it with the nail. She was carrying it the whole time. Should have been a clue on the first watch really.
Maddie has been a baddie the whole time
When Maddie first showed up she recognized drunk Vi and claimed it was from her face tattoo, but she couldn't have seen the tattoo because it was on the other side facing away from her.
I just noticed that the Balloon has big bunny ears on it. This is like a big "This one's for you Isha!" from Jinx

Not just Silco's advice, the talk with Ekko too
Man, this series was EPIC!
My favs always

you're a crybaby.
The dialogue with Ekko learning to move forwards you have to sacrifice a little and leave it behind, and of course Jinx's 'Always with you sis, even when we're world's apart'
4) The scores were alot more impactful i thought in season two, sure you had some great ones in season 1, but in season two they seemed to hit harder, it may be because of all the development up to this point they hit harder.
I can’t help but believe that
Jinx made it out and survived she is just to clever and stubborn

Ain't gon lie...Mel's outfit❤❤.💯.

Swain isnt a member of the Black Rose. They represent everything the hates
He is trying to bring them down, and they trying to kill him
Incorrect, Swain is one of the three grand leaders of Noxus, infact he was the one that overthrow the last emperor of Noxus (Who was being used by Le blanc), and the one that the Black Rose wants death the most, as his cunningness and intelligence constantily puts him two or three steps ahead of Le blanc, so the next stage of Arcane is probably going to be a spin off about Swain raise in power, Ionia and the Black Rose plans.
33:09 That three eyed raven , reminds me to Swain the one of the leaders of Noxus
It is Swain. He got the Power crystal now.

It was great that they showed us hints of Leblack, Swain, Oriana, the potential that Mel could become a new champion, parallel worlds and Silco in every scene he appeared he stole the spotlight.
--------------------------
And the way Riot Games ended the stories by killing 6 champions is just wow.
--‐‐‐-----------------------
The new champion Ambesa Metard got extra love from Riot Games and the official IP team.
The last moment of explode, if u watch slowly ( 0.5 ) ,you can see the telltale pink line of jinx moving at shimmer speed as the explosion happens. we also see ww is also crying, i think he let her go and she was able to escape the explosion
for the ones reading that want a bit more optimistic look over the champion character deaths:
Heimer is a yordle, they can pretty much just say "he respawned back at bandle city because yordles cant die!" and it would be correct since yordles are extremely magical and weird lore wise xD They did show Heimerdinger exploding while testing the z drive but maybe his body dies but then his magic essence goes back to bandle,, or it doesnt, riot can do anything with yordles but, its nice to think he is still alive
same goes with Jayce and Viktor, u can just think they went to another dimension or ended up existing somewhere else far far away of reality but still together as friends,
and Jinx can be theorized that she survived and escaped the explosion by leaping into the air vents that caitlyn was looking at at the end, for a few frames there was a pink line flash right before the explosion,, said pink dash was something always attributed to jinx's shimmer speed,,,
These 2 arent optimistic but it can explain them coming back to life:
Ambessa can comeback as a leblanc puppet, its not happy but it can make sense as to how she can be alive in the canon
WW(vander) can just get experimented on again back to life by singed or someone for,, "a reason" but i doubt they would, his ending and story should be done.
Beautiful
it got me in tears as i read your explanation.
Fun fact I didn't catch until second watching:
The small airship/balloon that Jinx, Ekko, and the firelights show up on?
Silco foreshadowed it ❤️ Glad she’s out there somewhere
Just finished watching the finale. i cried like a baby. listened to some arcane songs and tried to calm down. watched your reaction. crying like a baby again.
20:09 I love these Noxus soldiers. Ruthless but loyal to the throne
On the topic of Heimer, he's a yordle, they respawn after death. But then again he's in another dimension...
After all im glad victor and jayce were together to the very end.
she is alive first when the explosion happens before that u can see a purple line for a single frame ( same as jinx super speed )
second cat see the blueprint there will be lot of ventilation in that chamber where the bomb explode ( jinx escaped through that vent ) plus ekko said before these ventilation spread throughout underground city
third the last scene u can see a blimp ( powder said in first episode oneday she want to travel in that blimp ) and we can see jinx scribbles at the end of that scene means she is leaving piltover and zaun
fourth i believe jinx is going to noxus ( is a region the next arcane story will be focused i think so) because we saw swain's crow (sixeye) travel along with the jinx's blimp ( maybe to cure warwick/vander i dont know)
Realized the Cait thing as we were editing this!
@@raiyano7436 Arcane is now the main lore, and they've shown that they will retcon things. So it'll be up for grabs
I don't think it was Silco's advice alone, Ekko also helped changed Jinx's decision of taking her own life.
I need the one you smoke
31:44 sad monkey = emotion Jinx. I can’t 😢😢😢😢
ekko saved everyone and nobody knows, he really is the boy savior
i cant even begin to express how awesome it is that you guys have consistently gotten these reactions out so fast AND make them such quality videos. Been subbed to the channel for a while now, you guys are among the top in my head when it comes to commentary and the vibe here is always great. Arcane has been a wonderful journey to share with you guys, cant wait till we get our next taste of what riot has to offer!
"I did appreciate your warmth."
Coming from the coldest heart...
I will fully admit to have cheered when that little ginger witch got hers.
💜
While the second season may not be as narratively flawless as the first one, this show is one of television's most unforgettable shows. Looking forward to Riot's next projects.
Season 1 is far from narratively flawless.
Definitely agree on the fact that this show is truly unforgettable - the mark it's left on us is immeasurable!
Thank you for posting these all on the same day
Our pleasure! ❤️
Christian Linke on Necrit's AMA said Riot has acquired part of Fortiche. So yeah... This partnership is in for the long haul ❤ it has been fun reliving Arcane with you guys
Ambessa reminds me of the Timothy Zahn Thrawn. Such a good villain.
War crimes for the win, am I right? Singed's middle name is basically war crimes
Vander was completely gone but Jinx survived tho
2:43 I've come to bargain!!!
SHE IS ALIVE😢❤
Just see one frame before explosion
A purple light of SHIMMER
Don't worry guys, there are 3 main details that point out to Jinx's survival. The first one is on the explosion itself, there's a frame during it where you can see a long purple flash (shimmer) indicating that jinx avoided the blast last minute, this is further confirmed by Caitlyn afterwards when she's lookin through the Kiramann files and looks at the place where explosion took place and there are bunch of tunnels there, this kinda resembles how Luke avoided his death in "Empire Strikes Back" using the vents as a way to get out. The final detail is on the very last shot of the episode where you can see a scene with a zappelin that mirrors perfectly the scene from episode 1 of season 1 where Powder says " Someday i will ride on one of those" so in the end all is well, Jinx is just taking a deserved vacation for everything that she's been through, also leaving Vi and Caitlyn alone like she said she would back when she talked to Vi in prison.
how about Warwick?
@@monakasan7486 Couldn't say exactly, champions are not fool proof as we could see with Ambessa, but WW came back after an explosion with 3 hextech balls, this last time he only had to deal with one. If they want to bring him back they could do so, although i'd imagine by then, that we wouldn't be able to see any traces left by Vander, he would just be the WW we know from League.
@@WozY-ne6ty Nah she ain't
@@notes6987 and she said at a point “I just can’t seem to die”
You guys reaction is so genuine and pure. I'm glad I found you guys for your reaction. Thank you for the amazing ride
Jinx is okay, but she did break the cycle and is going on her way as neither Jinx or Powder, just a blue-haired girl out to explore the world
Technically the lore has no effect on the game. Heimer, Jayce, Viktor, Warwick and Ambessa are either gone or dead but are still in the game.
She legit escaped the explosion you can see it
@@icedcoffee-lf2nk Riot stated at some point that the lore of the game and the lore of Arcane exist in the same universe, and that Arcane lore supersedes original lore. So, Arcane is the origin story of Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Warwick, etc
@@vagabond142Right, but they've done away with the whole needing champions to be alive bit to be summoned to the Rift.
Ambessa is in the game, so is she still alive?
I CALLED IT!!! I F-ING CALLED IT!!!!
Maddie and Ambessa working together!!!!
We should have knownnn omg!!! She was too nice, it was too obvious but we got hoodwinked!
It was a JOB for her...with a bonus!
arcane was perfect, riot always comes up with something that keeps the fans wanting more! i'm hoping for a new season. the fact that they gave us a glimpse of orianna and teases swain makes me excited for a new season!
Goated show goated reactions
Thank youu, goated show is the exact way to describe this! We're ruined, how do we say goodbye?? 😭
@@OfficialMediaKnights just cry
This probably wont be the last show riot does, league of legends has a huge lore reserve that can be explored. I believe arcane only explores or shows about 7 or 8 out of the like 150+ playable characters in the game so keep that in mind for the future.
Oh it isn't the only show. They said they could see them doing this sorta thing for the next 30 years or so in their documentary.
