She helped Ekko with his findings, knowing they might not work since the crystals were mostly broken. However, when she saw the glitches, she might have begun to doubt her choice to help. I wouldn't doubt Powder on figuring it out herself in this timeline, but Jayce and Viktor were the real people behind Hextech and having those crystals be stable to be worked with. The counsel in the main timeline weren't onboard with this magic stuff but Mel turned them to his favor but she most likely couldn't here because a child died from this so he must've been hauled to jail and his research and notes were all taken away and probably destroyed. Powder is too busy mourning Vi's death to even care about the crystals plus she probably doesn't know she caused that explosion in this timeline because she only realized that in episode 3 from her meltdown. Viktor is most likely dead too because he never got involved with the hexcore. He probably had a nice remainder of his like with Sky before passing though.
The end also implies that Powder and Ekko in this timeline must have tried something with those stones but unlike Jayce and Victor they decided against it, remember they are very different people compared to those two.. when she looked at the notes she saw the drawing of different realities in Ekko’s notes it meant she knew the Ekko right now is not the one she knew so she helped him return..

The last scene of powder having the hex crystals and her putting ekkos gift in her hiding draw also implies that she understood the ekko who gave it to her was from a different reality which is why she hides it from her ekko but at the same time keeps it to remember him.
Heimer probably fixed that other timeline and got Zaun and Piltover to work together, since you know, he got there with ALL his memories from the OG timeline.
@@localhobo5362 I think its Heimer setting stuff up like the invention competetion, making the bridge like a hub that got people more connected. plus small things like hextech not being there, and silco probably getting the letter from vander
Can we take a moment to appreciate our boy Heimer? He helped make this alternate reality better and sacrificed himself despite this beautiful reality, to send Ekko back to fix their own. Also the willpower of Ekko to be in this world and still steadfastly decide to go back? Hats off.
I like how while Ekko was there the scene cut from his pov. Made it all feel real. Which it is but it’s now our timeline. I also like how Jinx has a strand of pink hair.
The implication of alternate powder keeping the necklace the original ekko gave her with those unprocessed gems is that just like she accepts Vi is gone and those gems are the reminder, she accepts the ekko is gone too and now the necklace is the reminder, both the gems and necklace working as the anchor that she uses to cherish the good memories she spent with each. She wouldn't give them up to someone else.
The last scene was implying that this Powder can cross through dimensions if she fixes the portal. For the portal to be created they needed Hextech cristals, but there weren't any (Powder hid them all) but Ekko found a few parts of it to help him creat the hexdrive. But he took the hexdrive (the mini time-machine he created) with him, that had the little cristals he found. BUT this Powder, had bigger, and better Hex cristals, so, in theory, with Hermerdinger expertise on the portal, and Powder's cristals, the portal can be fixed, maybe permanently.
The drawer means she puts her time with alternative ekko in a drawer to be forgotten just as she chose to forget about the crystals. She did see what hextdch is and could recreate it, but i dont think she will act upon it.
Due to vi’s death, powder didn’t want people to get their hands on it. Thus, led to hex tech not being invented. Aside from that, this universe was when silco founded that letter from vander and they reconciled
This episode was rlly the one that made me the most emotionally sad this season, not from any character's death, but from knowing the alt universe where everything is perfect isn't ours... hits me a lil too deep personally🥲

The sad part of this reality is that Jayce in this timeline is in jail ( because a child died in his apartment from his illegal research and illegally obtained hex crystals ) and Viktor, having never met Jayce, is probably dead.
Heimerdinger is a Yordle and as such can't die; his essence went back to Bandle city (Yordle's home) where time goes by a lot faster so after some Runeterra-years he may return to Piltover if he wants to
I can't even explain how happy it makes me seeing Ekko and Powder living their lives together after getting my heart broken by episode 6. At least, in another universe, I know they're happy.

Heimer is still alive. They cant die and when a Yordle is killed they get sent back to bandle city. There is a very emo yordle named Vex who is depressed because they cant die
My theory about the good timeline is Jayce killed himself after facing judgement much more severe from the main timeline by the piltover council. He was already hopeless beig ostricized by his own community imagine living with the guilt of killing a zaunite kid.
Heimer singing and stromae in the same episode?😂😂😂is this real life? Very nice heart warming episode…we are not used to it from Arcane but it was needed😂😂
I like how Heimerdinger is probably the creator of "Innovator's Competition" in Zaun when he goes back in time. It basically showcase people of Zaun a chance to show their inventions or innovation. So not only topside people can showcase their inventions, people in Zaun too. And many Zaun people are good at inventing stuff. I mean it make sense when it is Heimerdinger who created the event since he's still at the council at this point so he has a power, and of course since Heimerdinger get a chance to be with Zaun people and recognizes that they have a talent.
I think the main reason why this world is so good is really because vi died. Vi dying probably made vander and silco rekindle their brotherhood and shared bonds. And with those two incredibly charismatic people leading zaun, and an empathetic mel and heimerdinger leading piltover, its no wonder the two cities become so united.
@@samy29987 With Vi’s death, enforcers never went down to Zaun, so Sevika doesn't lose his patience and reached Silco to change the Zaun-Piltover situation, Jayce couldn't reach his goal because of the consequences of having those Hextech crystals that in eyes of the council are an threat to citizens health, so he never met Viktor and never kicked Heimer out of the council.
I think the sad thing is that this timeline Jayce had no proof before the council, so he was most likely exiled or expelled and probably jumped from his window like he tried to in season 1
17:42 here are the lyrics translated from Stromae " I love you, I'm leaving you " : - Robotic voice : I love you, I love you and I'm leaving you x4 - Ekko (Stromae) : You are the best thing that happened to me but also the worst thing that happened to me, that day when I met you, I would perhaps have preferred, that this day never came. The worst blessing, the most beautiful curse, I should get away from you, but as the saying goes, rather than being alone it is better to be poorly accompanied. - Ekko/Jinx : You know what they say, - Ekko : be close to your dearest friends, - Ekko/Jinx : but also, - Jinx (Pomme) : even closer to your opponents. - Ekko : But my best enemy is you, run away from me, the worst is you and me. - Jinx : But if you are still looking for my voice, forget me, the worst is you and me. Why does your name hurt me, when it hides, right there in space what emotion, is it hatred, or the sweetness when I hear your name ? I told you, don't look back the past that follows you, makes war on you. - Ekko/Jinx : but my best enemy is you, run away from me, the worst is you and me, but my best enemy is you, run away from me, the worst is you and me. - Robotic voice : I love you, I'm leaving you x10
You can also tell heimerdinger changed a lot during his stay in that timeline where he improved a lot of lives and where he quotes those lines “How can I forsake another brilliant mind in need again”(referring to Jayce) “Whats the point of the device like this if you don’t enjoy the time you have”(referring to victor)
18:39 Did anybody notice that powder had a pink streak of hair on the underneath her blue hair in honor of Vi? Maybe it was a quick detail missed because of the movement and slower frame rate, but that's a nice attention to detail.
-Season 2 Episode 7 Spin the Wheel Lyrics (Vocals by Mick Wingert/AKA the voice of Heimerdinger): [Verse 1] Go spin the wheel and see where it lands Join in the circus, stay for a dance, and Right when the war quiets down, ya strike up the band Keep marching on, my friends And do what you can [Verse 2] Wait 'til your brothers and your sisters, see where you been And if you loved the journey more than the end, go ahead Just turn that hourglass around and count to ten This ain't goodbye no more Nah, it just began [Bridge] March on, my friends Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-ooh Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-ooh [Verse 3] Go and make some mistakes, you live and you learn And where the chips fall, it's not your concern, nah Like the wind gonna breeze, the fires'll burn Just let the gears, my friend Oh, just let the gears, my friend Let 'em turn 🧡 💜
Heimerdinger is a Yordle and in the League of Legends Lore it is confirmed that Yordle cant die because they are basicly Magic that is alive and when their physical body gets destroyed the magic returns to Bandle City the home of all Yordle. I think he disapeared because in that moment they fiddled with the Arcane/Magic and his Magic got caught in the crossfire ... i mean i dont really know but i hope he is not dead ... yordle are my favorite creatures in Runeterra^^
I finished act 3 and was pretty satisfied with the ending but then i made a mistake by going on Twitter. All I'm seeing is how horrendous arcane act 3 was 😐
I think HexTech wasn't ever created because jayce was blamed for causing the death of a person with it. The research was alredy poihibited, imagine having a victim
Ekko is such a hero. Seeing his dream effectively becoming reality and leaving that all behind for a low shot at success and saving what's left of his home.
Also I'm 15 mins from the end. I keep going back to comments on youtube I've made, watching the new released songs on the riot page, commentating on those also. Anything to prolong this experience. This final act has taken me about 5 hours to watch lol. And the fans have not shared spoilers thank god because we are all invested in this masterpiece. Because this show is history, and I never want it to end. I'm making it last as long as possible. Because you only get to experience something for the first time, once.
If it helps, Heimerdinger is a Yordle and therefore he can't die because they don't die when they "die" they go to Bandle City. The only comfort in this show.
@@NickArsic if you rewatch the explosion scene, you see her shimmer streak at the top near the right + we see cait smile holding jinx’s monkey as she looks over the channels and vents bc she knows there were escape routes for someone like her + we see one of the air blimps in the last scene that powder said she wanted ride in in s1 ep1. that doesn’t mean anything on it’s own but the jinx scratches before the scene goes dark hints that she could be on it. jinx said that vi deserved to be with cait without her messing anything up so i think that’s what she did; left so they could be happy even though they’re apart. always together. 💙
Honestly this is probably one of my favorite episodes. Also this Jinx is pretty tall. In regular timeline she's like maybe 5'3. Apparently mental stress in childhood can stunt physical growth. Anyone else notice Jinx has a pink ribbon in her hair in honor of Vi? My heart.
Another reason i believe that Zaun became so nice was that the enforcers that found Powder and the deceased Vi might’ve shown a lot of compassion to the kids that that resulted in the chain reaction of the two nations having a truce. And in a good world, Silco and Vander finally talked it out. 😢
The attention to details in this series, the necklace represents in the shape of the petals of the blue rose the profiles of the faces of Ekko and Powder crossing each other.
I've been watching a bunch of reactions and you guys made me realize why Powder stayed at Vander's Bar and was hesitant in becoming her "full potential". Just my theory, since Vi's death was caused by the crystals, she sidelined herself from becoming an innovator as she mentioned Ekko is "youre the big idea guy" She seems to just helps him with it. Looking at her "lair" it seems so clean and full of art now(probably her alternative outlet). She had the crystals at the end and she most definitely knows the power it contains. It seems like the trauma caused her to be hesitant to move forward but it saved Piltover and Zaun from Hextech. Plus I think with the peaceful circumstances, she never needed to weaponize them. Again just a theory but I am so happy for her in that alternative universe.
it makes perfect sense that Ekko would keep asking direct "obvious" questions about what's going on in this universe, the episode goes out of its way to show us repeatedly that it's all like a fake nightmare to him before he and Powder go see Vi's ofrenda. he has no reason to care about the consequences of his prodding until way later in the episode. Calling him mean is kinda silly
I think Riot revealed that Yordles don't die, they like sent back to Bandle City (Yordles City) its just like they respawn and continue with their lives.
This episode really racked my mind about what was the catalyst that caused life between Piltover and the Under City to get better. It couldn’t just be the lack of Hextech. That’s what caused a major industrial boost. What I think happened. This is the world where Silco found that letter Vander left behind. They patched things up and worked together to better the community. With Silco no longer funding Singed, there was no Shimmer. Jinx did ask what the world could have been like if Silco had read that note.
a lot of people might have missed the clues that powder already knew the ekko she met wasn’t her ekko. on her wall, there are notes that say “I love you” and a drawing of Ekko, hinting that they are dating in her universe. when ekko accidentally knocked over the book while grabbing the bag, it had a drawing made by powder of ekko surrounded by love hearts, showing how close they are. powder probably knew something was wrong because this ekko wasn’t acting like her boyfriend, he was asking strange questions and behaving differently. as for the hextech, powder definitely knew it wasn’t him because ekko never went on the mission when she stole the hextexh . but for ekko to know how the fragments work and what to do with them, while she had most of the fragments herself, made it clear he wasn’t her universe’s ekko. also when ekko saw the drawing, when he dropped the book he knew that powder and her hekko were dating, which is why he said, “Pretend it’s the first time,” during that scene on the balcony.
I BEG you to listen the song for the Ekko and Jinx dance scene (Ma Meilleure Ennemie) with some translation because it will hit THOUSAND times harder and it's beautiful
Alternative Powder know she has a sister in our Ekko's verse. So, she have every reason to follow in this verse : A badass living sister and Ekko with whom she may be in love.
It would make sense that Jayce died in Reality "B" that way since its an overlapping absorbtion there is no way of him being in there, making an anommaly that would shoot jayce from reality "A" into reality "C"
That scene with Jinx and Ekko dancing is just beautiful, one of the happiest moments from the show, and something we all needed after the last one.

Hats off.
I like that when jinx asked ekko if he wanted her to change, every reaction from other reactors immediately says "please dont" lmao
I like how while Ekko was there the scene cut from his pov. Made it all feel real. Which it is but it’s now our timeline. I also like how Jinx has a strand of pink hair.
"That's the worst thing. THAT's the worst thing! It's getting worse and worse"
Perfect quote to describe Arcane season 2 recently
I think Powder understood what has happened, and understands that traveling to another dimension wouldn't be a good idea.

@@مجیدپیری-ي6ل Heimerdinger is a yordle, and yordles don't die. Unless he is wiped out from existence due to the magic he'll revive in bandle city
The drawer means she puts her time with alternative ekko in a drawer to be forgotten just as she chose to forget about the crystals. She did see what hextdch is and could recreate it, but i dont think she will act upon it.
i don't think she wants to forget alt ekko. she would've dumped the necklace into the giant vent in a heartbeat.
To me this looks more like a "This is where this story ends, but I will not forget it."
Once I saw Silco I realized that this is the dimension in which Silco does find that letter as well
Ekko + Jinx were soooo cute this season. My goodness!
Due to vi’s death, powder didn’t want people to get their hands on it. Thus, led to hex tech not being invented.
Aside from that, this universe was when silco founded that letter from vander and they reconciled
This episode was rlly the one that made me the most emotionally sad this season, not from any character's death, but from knowing the alt universe where everything is perfect isn't ours... hits me a lil too deep personally🥲

that was a cool move to show an alternate reality where the characters never became what they were, and seeing "Normal" Powder without Shimmer was a perfect touch to the episode
The sad part of this reality is that Jayce in this timeline is in jail ( because a child died in his apartment from his illegal research and illegally obtained hex crystals ) and Viktor, having never met Jayce, is probably dead.
Heimerdinger is a Yordle and as such can't die; his essence went back to Bandle city (Yordle's home) where time goes by a lot faster so after some Runeterra-years he may return to Piltover if he wants to
In League lore, but I wonder if that’s something they’ve changed for Arcane’s setting.
I'm glad that at least Ekko and Powder were happy in another life.

In the Japanese dub when Heimerdinger sings, they actually got the Japanese VA to sing the song in Japanese.
In almost every dub
This series is the definition of a beautiful tragedy. 💜
But many kids probably died before Vi's death. So I don't necessarily think she is the only catalyst. Certainly one of them, but not the ONLY one.
I think the sad thing is that this timeline Jayce had no proof before the council, so he was most likely exiled or expelled and probably jumped from his window like he tried to in season 1

but also the worst thing that happened to me,
that day when I met you, I would perhaps have preferred,
that this day never came.
The worst blessing,
the most beautiful curse,
I should get away from you,

- Jinx (Pomme) : even closer to your opponents.
- Ekko : But my best enemy is you,
run away from me, the worst is you and me.

forget me, the worst is you and me.
Why does your name hurt me,
when it hides,
right there in space
what emotion, is it hatred,
or the sweetness when I hear your name ?
I told you, don't look back
the past that follows you, makes war on you.

The alternate reality Ekko is in, Powder and Ekko, are already together. So him asking "...just, pretend like its the first time..." hits hard.
When ekko meet powder in the reflection of the glass is jinx. Very nice.
If it helps, Heimerdinger is a Yordle and therefore he can't die because they don't die when they "die" they go to Bandle City. The only comfort in this show.
Yo one of the first ones here haha. Hope we are all prepared to get our hearts ripped out……again……

she’s alive but i’m sad for the sisters having to live without each other 🥺
@@chance757how would she be alive?
My heart.
I remember noticing that midway through her first scene and immediately guessing Vi died in this universe.
"For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.'" -John Greenleaf Whittier
You can see in her eyes that it wasn't her first run. She saw Ekko more than once before and he probably looked different each time.
Vi is the true villian of the show . Her choices honestly is what leads Vander to his death and jinx going mad. Vi made jinx.
Yordles (Heimerdinger races) are magical beings. They don't die, they just respawn in bundle city.
Alternative Powder know she has a sister in our Ekko's verse. So, she have every reason to follow in this verse : A badass living sister and Ekko with whom she may be in love.
It would mean leaving her own Ekko, and Vander, and her brothers, and even Silko(i think there his like her cool uncle)
The fact their dance was animated at 4 frames per second and Ekko can only go back that much. My guy just wanted to stay in that moment forever.
Tears throughout this episode. You three are still my favorite reactors to this season. ❤
It would make sense that Jayce died in Reality "B" that way since its an overlapping absorbtion there is no way of him being in there, making an anommaly that would shoot jayce from reality "A" into reality "C"
