This is like a reverse of "It's a Wonderful Life." The death of Vi got Vander and his kids to mourn, with at some point Silco being informed and them reconciling. The death of Jayce doesn't create a bigger gap between Piltover and Zaun with Hextech. This vacuum allows Vander and Silco's recuperated friendship to finish up their mission to bring Zaun up as a community and form a peaceful relationship with Piltover which seems to have brought an intellectual renaissance in science and art.
@@IAmHavok yep. Considering for all intents and purposes he would've still been a member of the council he could've easily set up peace meetings between piltover and zaun as well as arguing on their behalf during council meetings.
Marcus witnesses a kid die on the job which changes his perspective on the world and doesn't become a dirty cop. Grayson is never killed by Silco and helps Vander maintain peace between P & Z. It's legitimately an almost perfect world, and all it requires is Vi's martyrdom.
@XC11301991 How do we know Jayce is dead in this timeline and not simply banished from Piltover for accidentally killing Vi with his Hextech? Jayce was very nearly banished in act 1 for the incident in his lab, and no one was killed then. So it's pretty easy to speculate that the council threw the book at him in this timeline.
Jayce tried to punch his own card when he got banished in our world, but got stopped by Viktor. It's unlikely that Viktor would have sought to work with a discovery that claimed the life of a child from the Undercity, so it's unlikely that he'd have been there to rescue Jayce. And without Jayce making Hextech, Viktor probably succumbs to his illness.
I absolutely get where Ekko is coming from, as much as I would’ve loved to stay behind in this perfect world, I would never rest or know true peace if I left behind everyone else behind knowing I could truly help save them. The saddest part is I know that Vi would absolutely give her life if it meant that everyone could live in a world a beautiful and peaceful as that. I’d do the same thing. But I love how even though our Ekko left to go back home, this worlds Ekko is still alive and continues to live a beautiful life with Powder.

Ekko and Powder in the AU are in a relationship already. When Ekko was bugging out in the pub, Claggor asked him if there's trouble in paradise. Also, Ekko asking AU Powder think of it like the first time they've kissed.
I’m like, how does this plot point go over so many people’s heads? It’s not Vi’s death that led to Zaun having a better outcome in the alternate timeline-it’s the fact that Hextech was never invented. Without Hextech, the pace of progress slowed down, giving the two cities time to narrow their wealth gap. But when Hextech was introduced, everything accelerated too quickly for Zaun, which lacked the infrastructure to keep up. Silco even says in Episode 4 that they were being left further and further behind, with the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Vi's fate in this timeline was undoubtedly a tragic event, and it served as a catalyst for Jayce never pursuing Hextech. However, the real takeaway is that the absence of Hextech was the key. Without its invention, the world avoided the rapid escalation of inequality and conflict that Heimerdinger had long feared. In a way, his cautious vision was proven correct-if Hextech had never been created, it would have spared countless lives and prevented the growing divide between Piltover and Zaun.
The dancing scene is animated at 4 frames per second, which is how far Ekko can rewind time. Showing how he wants to stay in that moment. Below ill put some league lore, so if you don't want LoL lore spoilers don't read ahead. Heimerdinger is most likely alive, he is a Yordel, and in league lore its alluded that Yordels cant die because they are spiritual being, and are connected to the spirit world. This is why they live for so long, and when their body "dies" they are respawned in Bandle City which is like another spiritual dimension which has portals that connect through all of Runeterra, so they can come forward and back however they please. The only way to truly kill a Yordel is to kill their soul. Since bandle city is a spiritual connection and outside the physical realm its most likely that Heimerdinger just spawned back in Bandle city even though he did in a seperate dimension
I didn't read the spoiler LoL lore, but I appreciate the 4 frames/second info. Neat attention to detail that really captures the emotion of the scene. Thanks!😊
fun fact: the Ekko and Powder/Jinx dance scene was in 4 frames per second, the same amount of seconds Ekko can time travel. So to Ekko, it was so important to him that he wanted to live in that moment and repeat it over and over.

1:07 Oh there’s a time skip alright💀
Ekko and Heimerdinger: Living in Paradise.
Jayce: *Speedrunning Dark Souls.*
LMAo lupa with that tom n jerry ass scream @8:34
21:28 well in Legends of Runeterra if im not mistaken, Vi said Vi stands for Violence, so u gotta rid the Violence to achieve the peace
Ekko got a taste of what could have been
The dancing scene is animated at 4 frames per second, which is how far Ekko can rewind time.
Thanks!😊
21:45 Don't worry buddy boy is yordle he just returns to bandle city when his body dies, he is basically immortal
I loved how you'd go from a sweet romantic scene to a harsh cut of Jayce speed running Dark Souls
This episode was so heartbreaking to see what could’ve been for Powder and Ekko
3:43 yho the editor is crazyyy for that😭
fun fact: the Ekko and Powder/Jinx dance scene was in 4 frames per second, the same amount of seconds Ekko can time travel. So to Ekko, it was so important to him that he wanted to live in that moment and repeat it over and over.
3:36 CRYING 🤣🤣
Fuckin editor bro 🤣🤣☠️
