    Thank you so much. Please make more tennis specific workouts. I've found myself doing really generic workouts and hoping that it would pay off on court but they haven't. And then on top of that there are hardly any tennis specific workout routines on RUclips. Thank you again for the amazing content. It really helps us out.

    My favourite exercise set for getting fit for tennis season.
    I do it on and off since 4 years and the periods where I am more regular with it, really make a difference on court.
    Quick, easy, well balanced, effective. Got it all!

      @@TopTennisTrainingOfficial I had golfers elbow for 2 years and went to physio without success. I googled extensively and came up with my own solution which has worked. Basically consisting of rest and then massage the trouble spot with my fingers and then slowing building up all of my arm and shoulder muscles with alternative days rest. No weights to start with and then 2-5kg weights. The massage is very important from day 1 as it helps get air to the torn tissue to help healing. ruclips.net/video/z330SbvqgDE/видео.html&ab_channel=ToneandTighten

    • @TopTennisTrainingOfficial
      @TopTennisTrainingOfficial  10 месяцев назад +1

      Neutral stance is what many people and coaches call a closed stance. A true closed stance is the opposite of an open stance, meaning, the front leg is directly across the body line (think the open stance in reverse).
      Unfortunately many people make the mistake of calling a neutral stance a closed one.

      Around 150-250 calories in 15 minutes if you do it at a high intensity, with little or no breaks between exercises. It also depends on your weight

    Where would be a good place to work in squats, lunges, or other kinds of lower body strength builders into this circuit?

    • @TopTennisTrainingOfficial
      @TopTennisTrainingOfficial  4 года назад +1

      You could add in the leg exercises between the sets of this workout, so instead of having the break period between sets, get your lunges in or squats then go back to this.

      @@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Sure! I would love some more clarity on how to grip a racket so as not to injure your wrist. I've recently hurt my wrist and had to stop playing for over a week and I don't even know what I did wrong. I have a feeling it was because I was gripping too tightly or it might've been because my thumb position kept moving. I'm a bit confused on how to grip the racket. So a video of that would be excellent :-). Thank you for asking.

    Hey, does this help to improve your stamina? I haven't played tennis in weeks because of covid nor practice any sports exercises and I really need to improve my endurance/stamina as soon as possible because now after 5 or 10 min of playing tennis I get so tired and I need to rest like 3 minutes or something to play another 5 minutes. Endurance is my weakness and I don't know what to do. Do you have any advice? (Sorry if my english is bad, I'm not a native speaker)

    • @TopTennisTrainingOfficial
      @TopTennisTrainingOfficial  3 года назад +1

      This will definitely help you out. The stop start nature of tennis is replicated by doing interval training at a high intensity 👍
      Good luck with regaining the fitness and take it easy to begin, injuries are most common when you restart.

      Suvir, I hurt my ankle a few years ago and I kept re-injuring it every so often. Then last summer my wife started me doing squats. I started with 20 and now do 100. Never had an ankle problem since. Somehow that strengthen my ankle and also my knees are feeling a lot better as well.

      Try drills 3,4 and 7 from this video - ruclips.net/video/rqhDFwTFnes/видео.html
      Drill three is for developing good strength in your forearm muscles, vital for stability and power.
      Drill four is for core stability and drill seven is for rotational power, vital for extra power on your strokes.
