      The moment an amateur tennis player understands that 50% of the game is footwork, balance and fitness, and stop worrying about rackets, strings, semi-eastern or fully western, his/her game will have already 100% improved. More of it please.

      @@alteroccatv I realise this but I just can't seem to get the footwork down... I'd love a progressive program for footwork, balance and fitness 😬

      @@sammfowler6258 if you can afford it, try a few different high performance coaches (i.e. not your local club tennis coach teaching kids and club players) and one will work out, I'm sure. Personalised video analysis, diet, exercise/fitness program, drills, etc. etc. I'm starting this month with a friend/high perf. coach £200 (GBP) a month, I shall see how faster I improve. 🦾🦾🦾

      Must definitely. I would love to learn more about this. Im 50 yrs old and I just started playing tennis two yrs ago. Even though I played sports growing up, in college and during my military career I'm finding tennis challenging. I would like to keep learning and getting better and better. Im sure specific fitness will help.

    Great video! Could you share information about how a weekly trainings schedule looks (with tennis training,fitness, stretching and physio)? And maybe the difference of the plan in season and off season.
    Would love to hear more about that

    Can you tell me what brand medicine ball is shown in the video? Possibly the weight as well? Many of the MBs in the 5kg range seem to have a diameter of about 9 inches, while the one in your video seems larger - likely closer to what I’ve read is supposedly a standard size of 13.75 inches.

    • @TopTennisTrainingOfficial
      @TopTennisTrainingOfficial  Год назад +2

      All you need is a ball that bounces and is even the entire way around.
      There’s so many brands available and different sizes, the weight is more important than the size, as too heavy can cause injuries and too light will limit your improvement

    I didn't see anything I would call "endurance" here, it's all HIIT or technical or weights.
