One of my all-time favorites, and Guy Ritchie's best film in my opinion. Cast is absolutely steller, and Ritchie is a master at non-sequential storytelling.
@@jenmurrayxo Ritchie cuts his own films and his director "trademarks" include fast, intense action scenes sandwiched between normal, slower paced scenes (like the initial heist at the beginning of Snatch), quick jump-cut scenes (such as the scenes where the film jump cuts to character exposition sequences before returning to the story), and circular, non-sequential, interconnected plots where the film feels like it's multiple, separate stories and the audience sees the "big picture" towards the end. After his first movie 'Lock Stock & Two Smoking barrels' Guy Ritchie got a lot of complaints from American critics that they couldn't understand the cockney accents and rhyming slang. I think you’d like the third movie - Rock’n’Rolla and as you liked this try a sexy molar American film called Lucky Number Slevin, absolutely mega cast 🎥👍🏻
In earlier times, urine (piss) was the basis of many chemicals and used for production of salt peter for black powder (gun powder). The poor would collect urine in a ‘piss pot’ from others, around pubs etc. They would then sell the urine. They were ‘piss poor’. Even worse were those who were so poor they ‘didn’t have a pot to piss in’. Presumably ‘taking the piss’ was stealing the urine that another had collected. Now means to ridicule.
Oh my god! I can't believe you just said it sounds like the Newfoundland accent. The Newfoundland accent is basically a County Wexford Irish accent. Lol. That's hilarious 😂
The guy with the black guys who had gold teeth is called Goldie and is the godfather of drum n bass from the 90s. Bullet tooth tony is an ex pro football player.
I never understood why they didn't just use Mickey to win, instead of throwing the fight. Mickey is an unknown fighter, and he's much smaller than most. The odds would be greatly against him, which means the take, should you bet on him, would be huge.

This is one of my favorites! Jen you’re awesome! Please keep doing this!
Love Guy Richie films , so unashamedly British 👍💕
The Gentleman was another pretty good guy Ritchie movie.
I never understood why they didn't just use Mickey to win, instead of throwing the fight. Mickey is an unknown fighter, and he's much smaller than most. The odds would be greatly against him, which means the take, should you bet on him, would be huge.
New fpumdland have wexford / waterford irish accents. If you go to wexford you would not know the differance
Funniest movie ever made!
Period!!
Snatch is my first foray into "Watch With Jen" and I had a great time! I'll definitely check out more of your reactions. If you like Guy Ritchie's work then you will definitely like Quentin Tarantino's. I have to recommend "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" also by Guy Ritchie. ( :E
Thank you!! Glad to have you :)
Will do!
Thanks ...
Thank you for watching! :)
Your womansense was on point on every prediction...
As I watched it you predicted the correct outcome everytime 👍
Lol sometimes my womansense is strong! ☺
Lock stock 2 smoking barrels.
The gentleman.
Rock n Rolla.
All guy Richie classics.
Snatch is so underated (even tho it isn't). Just my type of humour! 🙃
Brad pitt got that to a T , save your breath to cool your porridge , great weather for the horses " aghh bolix you lose more running for the bus
Nice reaction to this classic gangster movie.
I loved this reaction. If you are down with checking out more Guy Ritchie Movies, You should give "Lucky Number Slevin" a shot. It's definitely one of my favorite movies and done in this same type of style as well. This movie was fantastic as well. I've been meaning to watch this for a while but never got around to it. Just watched the full thing just before finding your reaction for it. On that note... Thanks for being the first reaction to this movie I've ever watched. :)
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it ☺👍Iiked this one a lot 👌
Lucky Number Slevin isn't a Guy Ritchie film is it? No director or writer acknowledgement on IMDB
@@Sumphuka No, it's not a Guy Ritchie film. The way it's written and shot is similar to his style though.
The gentlemen was another really good movie. His latest movie. And of course lock stock and 2 smoking barrels
Canadian says:" It's a bit cold here"... That white outside your window is 7 feet of snow, isn't it?
Yes indeed lol!
🤣 yes, they do kind of sound like newfies. I’ve never been there, but work with a guy originally from NewFoundland. I can usually understand him, pretty sure I would not be able to if he was drinking.
True b'y! ☺
You need to see Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Guy Ritchie's spiritual predecessor to this film. Definitely worth it!
Rocknrolla is older movie like this that jumpstarted a lot of now notable peoples careers
Try Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels - its the film before this and features alot of the same cast.
I think 'The Gentlemen' was Ritchie's latest. Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Grant in that one.
Oh nice! 👌
@@jenmurrayxo It's a whacky, knockabout comedy in the style of Godfather II.
Taking the piss is a phrase, from years ago. When people use to collect piss from bars or homes. And make money from in it. As it has some chemical elements that are required. So taking the piss.
Fab. ❤️👍. You'll love Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes (2009).
@jen you should definitely watch "In Bruges" it's in the same league 😊
Brick top, best line, "pile all the parts together will be like a curry to a pisshead"
I still say Boris is still alive.
