I have the same guitar and completely satisfied except the dots: almost the same coolour like the neck colour. It occured to me to cut small cyrcles of yellow or white sticky tape and stick over the existing ones. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
Hello, I haven't spotted any particular problem with the color of the dots. On my guitar they are mother of pearl and quite distinguishable from the fingerboard.
Your playing is so incredibly nice and tasteful!! Also on your version of beatiful love, I like that one so, so much. Was that your own arrangment of this song by the way? This arrangement, however short, inspired me to work on my own arrangment (of course heavily inspired by your version:-) and play it solo. Please consider making it publicly available again! I am sure people would like to hear it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Regarding Beautiful Love I made it available again. It was my own arrangement yes... and I feel very touched to know that it inspired your own music. Thank you so much again for your kind words.
Lovely tone, great playing and arrangement. Is it your own arrangement? Did you work from a score originally? If so - could you point me towards it? Thanks!
Nice playing! How low can you get the action before having fretting out issues? Have you tried the other guitars in the line and if so how do the necks compare? I am considering buying one.
Thank you for your comment ! String action can be extremely low. About me I play with an absolutely flat fretboard and very low action. That said my draft is 12-52 so it facilitates a very low action. I have already tried a Sire type stratocaster. I think the neck was identical. To conclude, I think it is difficult to find better, especially at this price. The only weakness seems to me to be the original pickups. Otherwise it's really amazing !
@@clementmartinez5414 thanks for sharing your experience, in later years I have drifted towards flatter radiuses but I have been curious about these guitars for a while. Well this guitar certainly suits you, you sound awesome on it.
Hi. The drop in volume of positions 2 and 4 is due to the switch of the pickups which switch to single coil. I haven't modified the circuit so switching to single coil from positions 2 and 4 always causes a drop in volume. Changing the pickups does not change anything. But it's pretty cool to have 5 positions and so many possibilities on a telecaster, isn't it? With the addition of vibrato, it makes it a particularly versatile telecaster. Obviously the switch on the original pickups was not very convincing. With the DiMarzios, switching to singles isn't bad at all... even if in the end, I don't use them much.
I recommend the guitar for its build quality. The woods as well as the finish and comfort are fantastic. The grip, the sustain, the acoustic qualities, the accuracy, everything is incredible for the price. However, the electronics are not very good. The pickups are just okay. Once these are changed, however, the guitar becomes the best and most beautiful telecaster you could dream of.
Hello Troy, the tune is "Strange Meeting" written by the great Bill Frisell. The pickups are two di marzio paf 36th anniversary. In neck position it's a DP103. In bridge position, it's a DP223. 👍
