I got mine two months ago, it's ridicolously good for the money I paid. It's a bit heavier than I aspect but I really love the tone. Neck is great: finish and shape are gorgeous. I was looking for a Schecter PT Nuys but I'm happy I landed on Sire's world. Good job man
Thanks Jon. I glad to hear this demo by you. I’m pretty sure I’ll be adding this one to my arsenal. You sound great as usual. I really trust your reviews.
Brilliant review, the sort of detail a player wants to know ... no bullshit. Amazing playing ... the best. Have one of these guitars ... I'm so in love with it, just want to play it all the time AND it's a beautiful instrument. Have a '69 Gibson 335 (also beautiful in it's own way) but always pick the T7 off the wall to play! Thanks for the review so calm and thoughtful.
Such a nice sounding guitar and, man, that flame top is stunning. Wish i was guaranteed to get one just as nice but you roll the dice with online orders. 😎
Great intro as always Jon ... Your playing is always inspiring! This Sire T7 FM is a nice looking guitar and has the pickups to produce some sweet tones. Its versatility makes it really attractive and the price imho is not prohibitive to beginners who want a better guitar. Thanks for the very informative review Jon!
I just wanted to see video of that Sire guitar. I have butter scotch D5 bass and just love it. What I saw here was much more than I expected. Great feeling and playing

Man you surely know your stuff, this is the first review of yours that I've seen and I gotta tell ya I'm blown away by your playing dude you are one talented musician and I could listen to you all night. This guitar is an absolute beauty both in tone and looks, the notes just flow off the board with absolute ease and they are very organic and tonefull............wow what a combination!!! Cheers Jon tones1957 (New Zealand)
Very nice Jon, stellar playing as always. I do not have a Sire yet, but that one is at the top of the list. A T style it’s about all I’m lacking at this point, but not all I’m wanting for sure. I have to get down to Guitar Center to get one in my hands. Thanks so much, and peace to us all
Think I'm done with all the research I've done the last few months regarding T style (or even S style) affordable guitars...the Sire T7 or T7FM is the nicest and best deal. Between the roasted maple neck, the rolled fret edges, the locking tuners, and bone nut... It surpasses any T style I have seen or heard in the price range. It's less expensive than the Fender Player Tele which has a synthetic nut, and no locking tuners. Many of the T7 reviews I have watched, pretty much all were about 7lbs+ Maybe the T7FM's are a bit more... Anyway, I do believe I'm sold ! 😉
I haven’t been back to Singapore in some time but I had a great time when I was last there with my airline. Great playing and great review. I wish I could play a quarter as good as you do. The reviews are in on this guitar and I for one am replacing my Squire Strat for an S7….when available?…..It’s a logical step up for a player like me from the Squire which has served me well. Someday if I ever feel that my playing has improved to the point of another upgrade maybe I’ll buy a genuine article.
Tried this guitar in store and it plays exactly how you say - feels amazing in hand, playability is so smooth with the rolled edges and 9.5inch radius. Did you or anyone else here have any issues with the pick up selector being “sticky” or jittery when moving to other positions?
Sweet improv . . . always making the changes! I love your demos of the Sire, S7, T7 & H7. I have two of these, in part due to your masterful demos. I have an H7 on order . . . it's actually the one I wanted to get most of all, but the other two became available at an excellent price. For me, the neck is the key . . . and the Sire's playability is incredible. Keep making these great demos and have a wonderful, blessed Christmas!
This is a beauty and has a similar sweet tone to my G&L legacy Asat deluxe. The single coils are fine but it really shines in humbucker modes just like the sire. The neck on the Sire is nicer and the body finish is amazing. They have put together something amazing for a great price. Cheers Jon😊😊😊👍👍
Looks, feels and sounds like a great guitar (fHmm, another guitar purchase? :) )...But, I think you help to sell lots of guitars, including those "average" ones, just by the way you play! Awesome Jon!
