The bends. Great guitar, but the string bends you do throughout just blew me away. I was captivated by where you were going to bend next. Such a graceful style you have. 🎸
This is such a nicely balanced Tele style guitar. Designed by one of my favorite guitarists and played in this video by another one of my favorite guitarists. And at $600 via Sweetwater you absolutely cannot lose.
I believe this video and review is the absolute best I have seen. I always enjoy your reviews but this one stands out. The T7 and you are a perfect match. What beautiful sounds you got out of this guitar. I'm planning on purchasing my own (in white) from Sweetwater. Thank you Jon for an excellent job.
First time I've seen you do your thing, Jon - Your playing was beautifully expressive, and bottom line, this was a great review, and you've sold me on it! Just that they are really hard to find in Australia!
I just got one. The neck is just amazing to play. At first I thought it was too fat but quickly realized it was awesome. I can play so fast on this and it really does sound great. I have one like here and I think it's beautiful to look at.
Excellent video. I like the way you play in different styles and show what the guitar can do. To many videos you see today reviewing guitars are all talk and taking them apart to look inside. And then either speed metal heavy distortion demos. Your talented playing sells the guitar with so few words.
I got lucky and bought a used but mint LC Sire Strat from a guy that was downsizing a collection and gave me an exeptional price - just being nice. It's fantastic but boy I really wish it had been a Tele. Gonna have to get one of these for sure. Great video and great playing. I'm sitting there watching thinking " I could do that physically but I could never make it sound that good."
I just got a used T7. I love the guitar but the pickups were dark and a tad bit muddy. I swapped out the tone cap for a different value and it really opened it up.
Mine arrived from Sweetwater today and I absolutely love it I just had to go with Tobacco Sunburst because it’s beautiful with the Roasted Maple 🍁 neck 😊
Great review ! Just bought the exact guitar. Absolutely LUV it ! What incredible value for the price. I was confident Larry wouldn't put his name on it if it wasn't up to his standards--and I was not disappointed !
One of the things I love about your videos is how you seamlessly go from mode to mode, pickup to pickup on the same track without pause. Makes the tonal differences stand out, plus hearing it with wonderful playing is a bonus too.
That’s a classy Tele Jon, beautiful. I love that neck and the tones are perfect. You Look like you enjoyed playing it in that fantastic intro. very tempted, I have to say. 😍👍😄😄
A big fan of your tasteful music and great reviews. I retired 4 years ago and I decided to learn the guitar. I have now released my 46 th album on Bandcamp. Your reviews led me to a Mg 30, Sire S7, Harley Benton Fusion T HH. Thanks Great tone on the T7. Thanks for your inspiration.✌️🙏
Beautiful and spectacular intro. I’ve got this exact guitar on pre-order, and am patiently awaiting it’s projected delivery later in the year. In the meantime, I’ve got my recently acquired Schecter Nick Johnston HSS to keep me company.
Put an $89.00 Harley Benton in Jon's hands or a $6000.00 Suhr either way Jon will make it sound like a million bucks ! Just a pleasure to watch and listen to him play... His effortless, tasteful style coupled with a great ear is simply a delight. Love he has the time to review all these guitars and make these informative videos for us all to enjoy but he should be on high demand as a player ! What's wrong with that picture ?? This Sire T7 is a beautiful looking guitar..loved the roasted maple neck with the rolled fretboard and locking tuners...ONLY thing I wish it had was 6 individual saddle bridge AND it weighed less. Oh well...ya can't have everything ! Still a beautiful instrument. 😉
Watching this video as part of my market research for my first electric… Beautiful guitar! I was told by a Sire rep that the lefty models should come out later this Summer. You showcased it his T7 very well. Thank you! I get the impression this gentleman could make a cereal box with strings on it sound good! Hahaha Wonderful playing, Sir!
Bonjour Jon! That guitar in your hands sounds so sweet but with character, looks amazing as well especially that lovely pick guard. Interesting to see a T style with Mr. ES335 name. Sire is taking the T to the future with all those improvements. I look forward to hearing your greetings in Spanish! Hasta el próximo video!
Really want one of these....sadly they are a bit heavy. They're about $640 USD now....All their guitars have rolled fretboards. Really nice. NAMM showed Sire's new guitars...S&T 5 and 10 series ! Oh La La !
Still...I have a 10lb HB Keith Richards Tribute Tele and even sitting down it's not a comfy instrument. Trying desperately to sell it. Truly have decided under 7.5lbs is my limit. @@JonIsJustTooLoud
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Update: Had to go back and watch this again...Just got the new T7TV thin line. Beautiful 3 tone sunburst.. of course all Sires have the rolled fret edges but the 7 series, including the new thin line models have staggered locking tuners, compensated brass saddles, bone nuts...AND mine weighs under 7lbs ! WooHoo...still I play sitting down. LOL
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Gotta say I received the T7 sunburst. It's a really nice well built guitar. The neck is so nice. I will put my own pickups in the guitar, it's a perfect platform to do so. Truly impressed.
I believe the Fender Telecaster he used on most of his recordings and live performances was a 1951 neck on a 1952 body. That's what he says on the Premier interview 8 years ago.

Jon, Incredible playing as always. Just wondering how you would compare the T7 vs. the comparably priced G&L Tribute ASAT Classic and the Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic Alnico? Seems like the T7 has elements of both. Thanks.
One thing that really winds me up about two-peice bodies without caps or veneers is they are almost never 2 equal peices, even expensive models can be this way, it wouldn't be so bad if they could find two peices of a similar colour and grain pattern but the cost of labour for that would probably be more than the cost of the difference of a one peice body
Hi Jon, your channel is just amazing. Your play, have no words man, surreal!! may I just ask, for a newbie like me, would you suggest this one over a Fender Player? Or, over a G&L Tribute ASAT?
