Bhashya of maandukya upanishad brought me close to the Advaita siddhantha, pravachana on Srimad bhagavdgeeta brought me close to dwaita Siddhanta. Born and brought up in Rajata Peetha Pura Udupi and being a madhva shivalli brahman, it's shocking that I was confused... Thanks to the grace of God and the initiatives by people of Daasoham jnyanagamya and the srimad bhagavadGeetha class conducted by vv Sri... I seem to find back my way to where I belong and where there's truth... Sticking to one siddhantha and completely learning it is the key to attain pure knowledge... I now realise
Stick to the clan you are born into. I am part of advaita Vedanta family and I practice it. God created all of us into various sampradaya for a reason.

Whoever is saying namma gurugalu namma gurugalu it's nothing but you are just restricting him to your family guru. Pls come out of the narrow mindset and work towards taking atleast 3 mathastharu (Sri vyshnava, Smartha) together then only we can survive n live a better life
