just got these, very good fit, I added some black sealant around the under section to ensure they dont come off.... perfect fit though....
I really like them
What type of sealant? Can you share with us please? 👍🏻
Is there a way to remove the oem exhaust tips?
I just ordered something similar for my GLC but I read the reviews and reading here everyone says they will come off eventually, so! Is a good idea to use some Extreme heat epoxy to give it a longer lasting bond? I’m asking about a epoxy cause I haven’t been able to find a heat resistant glue!!! Any ideas please? Thank y’all!!
I didn't use anything else - just pressed hard when installing... still there and I love the look. Don't worry about heat - they are not heating the much since those are not attached to exhaust pipe
Still going strong? They look really good. Will probably get some for my e400 coupe
Yeap, still holding strong and I still like it!
Do they fit on the e coupe?
Does this just install right on top of the existing parts or did you have to remove something first?
You just install on top of existing
NewRoad Adventures thanks...I got a similar one for my BMW X5 and there is no way it fits (even though they said it did) and I was wondering if these places expected you to remove the original piece...seemed unlikely
@@BLYKMYK44 They probably sent you wrong ones.
Do we need to apply heat resistant glue for this?
No need, just press and hold for a bit so it stick well.
Where can I buys these from for a e class
Click on www.amazon.com/shop/hummansunson and search for Exhaust Muffler Tips for Mercedes-benz E Class
Are they still on? Did you have to add any glue in the future?
Still holding strong and I didn't have to add any additional glue since I installed
Just got some off amazon for 12.99

Looks good, but 1 big bump its gonna fall off, should tack weld it
Still holding strong after 2 years
@@NewRoad
🤣🤣👍👍
will melt the adhesive eventually and causing it to fall off
I don't think so - since it is away from end of pipe... but I will be first to let you know when it does since I am not selling them :-)
NewRoad i had similar ones and they come off after a few months when i was on the highway
@@sa-v2 If it comes off eventually that's great because I want it to look OEM when I decide that I want to sell the vehicle
yeah but the thing is they fell off involuntarily
this comment definitely helps me, thank you. I just ordered them for my GLC, would you have any ideas on how to avoid them to fall of ? Thank you :)
I am assuming they can be easily removed by just pulling off again if I needed to sell my car etc?
Should be, might need to clean a bit from glue
@@NewRoad sweet just hoping when mine gets delivered it will stay on when driving 🤣🤣
Why you revving for it ain’t gonna change the sound note of the car lolol
I jest went for look
Sure quite a few ignorant people in these comments.
Do You Know How To Remove Them ?
Haven't tried it yet - I still like them
I need to remove mine but the adhesive has melted and they are stuck on solid 🤦🏽♂️
bad quality! Safe your money, i ordered 2 times and both they just fall off eventually... you can drive maybe max 1 month with them if you are lucky
I have it for almost 4 years now - and no problem. I think it is matter of installation technique
@@NewRoad there is no technique. Its with glue
I Just got these and i have some jb weld high heat silicone , what do you recommend during installation so I can keep these for years? maybe after applying it not use the car for at least a day to give it some time for the bond to stick well @NewRoad
First is better, second look cheap
Super cheap and fell off my car after just two months of use. Also is cut horribly does not even give the right coverage
Worked for me well and still looking good
Different strokes, for different folks. Every retailer does not sell the same product. And I mean having the same durability. The best way to install these, are to remove the tape that comes with them. And use your own 3m tape. No one really knows how old that tape is on these things.Or if you happen to have a heat gun, heat the tape up before applying.
