Thanks for video at first I thought I had to fully remove the box top part but would not come out of the clamp area any reason why it doesn’t remove? Loosened the screw still nothing
What's your opinion on the HENGST brand air filter. I have a 2016 GLC 300 and that is what I ordered for my car. I'm hoping I can do this DIY project myself after watching your video. That's a real handy attachment you have for your vacuum. 👍
@@NewRoad Thank you for your seal of approval. I have a T25 bit attachment so I'm hoping I can do this myself. You make it look so easy... a very well done, professional quality video. I just got a call my part is in so I'll let you know how it goes. 🤞

pain in the neck to get the rear part of the cover back on....there's a trick where you have to snap it back in place...that was the hardest part of the process.
The factory MB filters are made by MANN. Save money from stealer parts and buy a MANN filter. No need to wear gloves, long sleeves and use Klunky tools……a spot of engine grime won’t kill you and a tire driver is so much faster. Plus you don’t need to loosen the clamp if you’re not going to pull the top cover all the way off of the filter.

Had the same problem, I tried it for at least half an hour. I could only open a small slit, it was hell getting the filter in.
Is the sensor at the back of the filter cap the maf sensor ?
Is the 2019 model the same? I only see videos of w205’s that are older
Yes, should be exactly the same.
Very professional video! Congrats
Thank you!

Why isnt my air filter located in the same location as in this video on my 19 C300?
Any idea how to snap the housing back, it just wouldn't align properly
Don't force too hard, just play around and loose clam if need to
@@NewRoad Yeah it was a k&n filter, the regular filter used to fit. the k&n had to be mounted with housing in place...
when do we have to change the air filter? like every 10,000 km?
I believe it is service B - which is every 2 years
NewRoad yup just did service B on my Eclass and they recomend change both engine and aircond filters which on 2nd year

It would be better if you just order from either rockauto.com or fcpeuro.com. They have few options available and cheaper

Or can you tell me how to buy genuine filter?
I never used TTF. Many people using Mann which you can find on amazon, fcpeuro.com or rockauto
