Got the front appreciate it. I did a couple modifications after checking out your videos. I was looking for front and made it easy for me to buy. I am also checking out w205 android screen. I am sure if you do another one like that a lot of people will def get it. I know you did one for w204 but you need to do it for w205.
i think the amazon link is not correct it looks like it covers from the top the double side tape is inside of it not under it.

I just bought a ‘17 C43 and I just ordered my pieces a couple days ago. How did you get those trim pieces to align symmetrically on both sides? Did you mark your points?
Use painters tape and mark after holding it up. That’s what I did first but then I just eyeballed it and worked well.

I noticed your car has a black headliner, when usually the Black Interior comes with a beige headliner. Is this a special model or modification ?
Hey Flexx, did the rear vent canard trim piece seat flush with the body of the bumper? I purchased the same vent trim piece from the amazon link (in your description) for my w205 C400. When I lined up the trim piece on the rear vents, vent canard tips protrude out of the bumper by a little bit. Did you have a similar fitment issue?
No. Zero issues. You need to make sure the right blade is on the right spot. They are not interchangeable.
2 belong on left and 2 on right. And there’s specific ones for the top and for the button. And they have to be placed in the correct spots on the vent to line up correctly and be flush.

Flexx, been searching for these things for quite some time. Have a 2015 C400 and seeing all the new C300’s and 43’s around with the new grill inserts makes me jealous. This is a good solve for them. When you ordered on eBay, did you have to order 4 individual pieces? Or does one order come with all 4 pieces?
Usually items like this come all together in a pack thankfully.

Hi i bought the front fin pieces and mine looks a little different. It has clips inside to clip onto the grill. It doesnt really line up well either. It was the link you posted for what i bought. Do you think they changed it?

Looks great, can’t seem to get the links to work. Do the front trim pieces interfere with the front bumper sensors at all? I.e do the sensors pick them up as being an obstruction for the sensors? Thanks
If I remember vividly well, his is a base model so no parking sensor.

I've searched and searched but sadly I cannot find the same vent trims for the non-sport model. I would have to believe that other owners out there like me would buy them if they are available.
I don’t think they exist for the non-sport bumper. I haven’t been able to find any cause many people have asked the same question already.

That was a great idea.
So I got a set of these. Mine actually clip on to the grill, and they have adhesive pads on the side piece near the number plate. They are great. I also got a suround canard kit. It has a large upper eyebrow, a lower canard and a tiny little sude fin piece. I've seen it other cars. I've neen in a c250d with no issues. The trouble I had was qhen slowing to a stop or in very slow moving traffic, even though not wven close to a car my sensors would go bonkers. Do you have any idea why? Due to the shape and conturing, you can only really position them in one spot, so I'm sure I got them on correctly. Is there a way to reset the sensors or something? Thanks

100% fine. Remember, it’s all in the prep. If the surface is super clean and dry and the tape is heated up well, it will adhere really well.

I'm not 100% sure...but I thought the coupe front bumper is the same sport front bumper on the sedan. If so, the trim pieces should fit both cars. Again, not 100% sure.

Yes, you can. I would opt for OEM where as aftermarket does have the chance of not fitting/seating correctly.
Flexx or subscribers: do you know where I can source the “front vent trim” for a W205 base model? I have a 2018 C300 4Matic base model. The front vent trim featured in this video is for the sport model W205.

Hi for the rear bumper did you fit those piece straight on the fake vent mesh or did you remove the fake vent and put that plastic piece after?

I have a 2016 c300 like your car in this video so I ordered the fins from eBay and I’m going to install them today and low and behold my front bumper is different On the area where they go and the ones I got are way longer then the ones your installing in this video. Man please help
You don’t have the same car if you have a different bumper. The vents are designed only for the sport bumper like in the video. If you have different vents, you probably have the luxury version, not sport. Not really much you can do but return the blades.
Hey I had the same problem let me know if you end up finding ones that match your car because I couldn’t find ones on eBay that match.

Just ordered and recieved these fins, but i dont think just sticking them on is a good idea as im sure sooner or later they will fall off so i will take the grill cover off and screw them on.

Finally fell off last week because I pressure washed it too hard. Lasted a good 3-4 years which is pretty damn good. I could easily slap on some new tape and stick it back on but I’m gonna go a different route. I’ll share in an upcoming video.

It sure is. Just make sure the install is properly done. If the surface isn’t clean or if the tape is tacky, it will affect how long it will stay on the car.

yes, and I told you. My car doesn't have sensors in the vent area so I can't tell you if they cover up sensors or not. I think someone may probably have answered this question. Read the comment section.

As explained in the video, They come in a set. They are not all the same size. 2 is for the left (top and bottom) and 2 is for the right (top and bottom).

each means an entire set. If it was $40 for each blade, I would of mentioned it in the video. I'm not here to screw people over...hahaha
