Very sad, indeed. Sensless, horrible crime is this. Innocent murders---- 2 innocent women murdered , for childs-custody. Heck, 6 children have been deprived of 2 mothers. How stupid, heartless murderers.
The kiddos will go into foster care. Grandparents didn’t hatch plan all by themselves !!!!

Just because someone is from a small town doesn’t mean their intelligence can immediately be assumed. “Ignorance” is a problem everywhere regardless of location (small town or no), clearly.
This has nothing to do with it being a rural area! This can happen ANYWHERE! Family violence- ESPECIALLY during a divorce or custody battle- gets nasty everywhere! But props to these small town cops- seems like they actually kicked ass on this case- that IS rare in rural America!
These four suspects should get capital punishment for this heinous crime and those children should never be in the presence of their psycho father that’s in rehab. These children need to be protected from this horrifying family.

Love would not deprive the child of their mother, by murdering her and unducing lifelong trauma a child will experience knowing the horrific circumstances of their mothers demise. Only a cruel psycho would consider that love. Only a psycho would think that they could get away with such an obvious heinous act and there would be a positive outcome for the child. Only a psycho wouldn't consider the collateral damage to the 4 children of the other mother and her murder also. A person who truly loved that child would think of how adversely the affects would be on the child above their own selfish wants( including their son's) to essentially win a competition of " possession" as if they were just property by committing a multiple murder!. Almost no one mentions that Jilian Kelley was only there as a court-appointed supervisor of the visit. Her kids now have no mother.
This is so horrendously messed up. If it turns out that the four suspects in custody are guilty, I hope none of them ever get out of prison.
Being a court appointed supervisor like Gillian is a dangerous job. You often deal with angry familiesin custody battles.
My daughter has this job. It terrifies me.

It's too dangerous a job for an unarmed woman especially since the territory they had to travel was desolate. They were ambushed and didn't have a chance. Going forward, I hope laws are changed but then again, if lunatics like this want to kill you, they'll probably find a way. The judge never should have given the grandmother custody. Just looking at her is telling.

Apparently the judge had ordered extra security for himself but not for the mother or the court appointed observer, in addition, the meeting place for the exchange was an abandoned gas station.

I am assuming he had been the Judge in possibly the Custody Hearing Decision?
If so for the extra Security for himself, the Court System here must have had run ins with these folks in the past and knew they could be violent and/or vengeful.

There was a dateline episode awhile back about this very scenario. The grandma, the father and his siblings lured the mother to a place then killed and dismembered her. It was all over child custody.
I am heartbroken for these two young women, their precious babies and their friends and families.

I have no earthly idea how they thought they could get by with it bc it was a no brainer when the women turned up missing that the grandmother was not going to hand them off for visitation that day, no matter what. These kind of rebels lose touch with reality and think they are above the law. Demonic cowards.

Im gonna bet there was recently a court order stating the dad(s?) had to pay child support. This wasn't about custody as much as it was about money, I presume. Saying it was about custody makes it seem like the father(s?) cared about the kids in some way but if that were the case the children wouldn't be getting ready to bury their mothers.

Then, during a custody battle (which I presume was a requirement for the mothers and children to qualify for some type of social assistance; another situation the father likely didn't want as lawyers cost money too) the judge awards the mother custody and orders you to pay $1400/month in child support. (Child support for 3 kids is NOT cheap).
Now, after child support, you have $550/month to live on (to cover rent, food, bills and gas to and from work). Imagine working full-time to live in your vehicle in your employer parking lot......

I never use to believe in the death penalty. But now I do how sad is this to leave six children without parents. I do not know these people and I am sitting here crying. God, bless all of the family and friends impacted by this incident.

Not in Missouri they don't. They leave kids in unsafe homes all the time. Mostly when a mom has a boyfriend and the boyfriend is a molester. It's very hard to prove a child should be taken from a parent. CPS has let so many kids down. Why do we even have CPS? They are a joke.

It's crazy how people will commit m over money and children. People all children grow up to be adults. They don't stay children for a long time. If a human lives 60, 70, 80 plus years this means that person was a child for a very short period of time in their life. We need to stop acting like a child will be a child forever and making life long decisions based on being a child. I went through a divorce. It was ugly and sad. I didn't have full access to my children, but over time, things worked out. Be patient. This is sad. The child has lost both parents and others who participated. I think certain Americans use children far too much in temporary situations.
Now they will never see their grandchildren what is wrong with people no common sense what will happen if i do that what would be the consequences of my actions

Unfortunately Oklahoma is very rural , easy to go missing.
Yea I grew up on the red river basically in southern ok. Everyone we knew has many acres and many “tanks” or ponds that attract mountain lion and coyote. It’s not uncommon for people to go missin and nothing ever done about it. I had a friend in highschool who helped her boyfriend clean up his mother’s blood off the floor of his home after she was killed by a burglar for the meat in the freezer ! They never even knew or tried to find that person.

I remember several years ago where many people were murdered like this for custody of one child, 8-10 murdered, when they arrested those responsible one was a grandmother, they wanted custody and were willing to do anything to get it. These people don't think straight, somehow in their twisted minds they believe this is okay to do, this is pride to its fullest degree, sweet Heavenly peace to two innocent women💔💔

It's a heartbreaking injustice, and those truly responsible should face the consequences of their actions in prison. I read or heard - somewhere- that Wrangler ( Veronica’s ex/kids bio dad) made a statement to LE when he was questioned. His statement was that his mom was the only person he’d guess was involved- because she had told him she would put a bullet in his head IF he caused her to loose her grandkids! He was apparently rather scared of her too
