- Two bodies were recovered in rural Oklahoma, a day after four people were charged with kidnapping and murder in the disappearance of two Kansas women, authorities said.
Veronica Butler, 27; and Jilian Kelley, 39, of Hugoton, Kansas, were driving through the Oklahoma panhandle to pick up Butler’s children for a March 30 birthday party in Kansas, but never showed up. Their vehicle was found abandoned later that day on a rural highway in Texas County, near the Oklahoma-Kansas state line.

It's flabbergasting to me how evil people continue to believe they can get away with murder. In the day and time, we live with new ways arising to find evidence that they can not commit the perfect crime. It's just plain stupidity!

I find commercials being run during this press conference as disturbing. Run the at the beginning, run them after… but to use the main body of these announcements into a reprehensible crime for commercial purposes is disheartening
My heart goes out to the families of these two women from Kansas. I had hoped for a different outcome, but we find ourselves confronted with this tragic ending. The mention of the grandmother's aggressive, almost shark-like personality hinted at her possible involvement in their disappearance. It's a heartbreaking injustice, and those truly responsible should face the consequences of their actions in prison. I'm deeply sorry for the children who now have to grapple with the loss of their mothers. When will this cycle of violence end? It's distressing to see people resort to such brutality.

The FBI deserves a huge thanks for bringing this to a close. In these type cases, they can trust no one. They worked hard and in secret to get this case solved, and to recover the victims. Much respect and thanks.

Yet even I know about all the TV shows about Crime Scene Investigation, and all the techniques law enforcement has for investigating serious crime. There are 648 missing cases in OK right now are they working as hard on these cases? Glad they have solved & located these ladies, now while the hype & cooperation is going on between these agencies jump on some of these other missing people. Those families need closure too.
I want to know why the judge in the case of removing the children from their mothers home at the suspects home during the arrest of the grandmother and her boyfriend. He said on Camera that he’s friends with the boyfriend.

Halfway into this and so far it's just all celebrating how successful they were and all they did rather than the victims. This isn't an awards ceremony.
Obviously the media wants an update and will continue to ask details that are important and cannot be “released at this time.” If they say nothing, the media and public will whine about this tragedy until those details can be made public. Give them a damn chance to finish this investigation and bring the killers of these innocent women to justice for them and their families

You can keep us off your back by giving an update every 3/4 days. If not, that’s how you get frustrated people. I’m not saying show us your hand but give us some knowledge that the search is still ongoing. That’s why police are getting a bad wrap for missing people.

The "Police" should not be blamed for not giving the expected "updates" that you are whining about not getting, because they are not in control of what their departments protocol is.
Also, there are MANY different departments and agencies involved, and they have to not only coordinate, but follow the hierarchy of who is actually "in charge" of the investigation now, which is probably the FBI, so they "took the lead" as was stated in the video.
If you actually WATCHED THE VIDEO, you would have learned that!
So the police are NOT the ones in charge of the on-going investigation, so stop blaming them for not keeping your royal highness's inquiring mind, up-to-date with the investigation!
They really can't disclose information when it is an open investigation. This case was so intense. They were working so hard. We can't blame them for not giving updates. They did what they could. I am sure they did updates as they could.
Go back and read what I said. We don’t need to see their hand but just an update like today. They said nothing, but seems like the people were a little satisfied. But on the other hand they BEG the people for help in giving info about the case to the police to help gather facts. Maybe not this case but in millions of others, the police do. I think as a whole, people want to know that they are still doing something and that they are safe living amongst these not so good people. I’m 60 years old, I get how the police work, but seems like these people were very dangerous and I get that, they didn’t need help this time. But like a said, just show your face and say, we are still here and we are working 24-7 on this case. I’m in no way telling the FBI how to do their job. I’m just a prayer warrior and like to know they are still working that’s all. Our tiny tiny town did the same thing twice with people taking out someone and it is right in front of my street. Hubby called me from another state he heard it on Facebook, told me to lock doors and keep Uncle Harold within my reach. Police didn’t warn anyone they just said it’s ok all is safe. 🤨 well it was drug dealers that came an hour away to dispose bodies. And the other was a homeless man stabbed some in a neck artery and died immediately. He ran to a gas station 4 blocks from my house. Safety that’s all

It's actually a good thing that people on social media were saying that LE isn't acting fast enough, these Evil people were probably on social media trying to get some information, but nobody had any so in my opinion that gave them time to relax and not run with the children..
I reise two beautiful grandchildren and I can't begin to imagine killing their Mother or Father because they wanted their children back. I'd celebrate what child doesn't want to live with their Mom or Dad ? As a grandma id be happy for them but that's just me.
