Ironman sacrificing his life to erase Thanos and his entire armada is probably the most satisfying moment in the marvel. He finally got rid of all the nightmares and demons, and now he can sleep peacefully.
It was pretty cool. Never saw any of these until recently. They were really good. Captain America always harping on Stark because he thinks Stark is selfish and would never put others before him, that made this moment really cool even though Stark constantly puts himself in harms way for others. He showed that several times throughout the Avenger movies and in the Civil War movie too. He even told the ones on his team to take it easy on their friends.
But he’s dead now
Actually, they all should have been dead and and thanos should have reset the multiverse because there is nobody left to kill for mistress death.
Demons?????💀💀
@@miguelvargas6685 didn’t you watch Ironman 3💀
I love how Thanos makes no speeches about why he was right, or what he could have done differently. He just sat there and accepted the outcome... That is destiny fulfilled
He had said before that defeat turns your legs to jelly, that's why he sat down. It's kind of similar to when Gamora said she always hated his thrown so Thanos sat on the steps because he really did love her.
I like this comment because he saw what he did to them through nebulas memories. In a sense I’m sure he felt satisfied being able to destroy half of the universe in their timeline
The unreleased 5-hour Supercut should’ve had Recuse close Tony’s eyes after his death.
The Director’s Cut to both Avengers 3 & 4 should have that one scene where Thanos stabs Iron Man with that damaged nano dagger from Tony’s Nano Tech armor with blood coming out like in most R-rated films.
Destiny is all!
That little smile Tony gives Pepper upon seeing her at 3:55 kills me every time. He lights up upon seeing the love of his life... even during death. This death scene was done very well. Should Avengers ever continue, I'll really miss Iron Man. RIP.
Nooo😭😭😭why it is like that, i wish they could change this scene!
Avenger will continue and Iron man will make a comeback in Secret Wars
@@cebug4238did they say rhat
@@SworldWorldYT Not confirmed. Robert downey jr just said, that he's quite astonishing open for a comeback as Iron Man and since the new avengers arc will play with multiverse there's a high chance they are bringing him back
@@cebug4238 alright. That would be cool to see
This scene always makes me cry. The fact that IronMan even considered building a gauntlet in his suit makes me love him that much more. He was considering sacrificing himself before anyone else 😭😭😭
Did he? I haven't seen the full movie without getting interrupted yet. I read somewhere it was just tony's advanced tech that it could adapt to other systems, I guess hack/assimilate controls, so it was actually his armor fusing to the gems since in the movie marvel universe magic is just another form of technology. (Whether that's true in all cases I'm not sure but, I did read mutliple times people talkking as if, for example, asgardian magic was really just asgardian tech. Which tbh I don't think fits with marvel well at all with so many characters like Majik, Strange, Ghost Rider, just to name a few).
You sure? Seemed like he just made his suit adapt because it is made of nano machines. Basically he can shape it like clay.
I'm sorry - but that is not true. You can clearly see in the movie that his nanotechnology suit is moving the stones & creating the gauntlet while he has his arm raised & giving the "I am Ironman" speech.
@@user-cv1pj2vv1u You are correct!
@@Frendh Exactly. You are correct!
Pepper is so great here and it's completely real for her character. She's calm and collected when she verifies with Friday that this is it for Tony. She uses the last few moments with her life partner to tell him what HE needs to hear. And saves the tears for after he's gone. Just such a beautiful display of unselfishness and leadership.
This exactly describes her character and i love her for this. It was so amazing to see her show up with her own modified suit stark made for her and now because of Tony's sacrfice she is more than strong enough to protect and carry his legend. Stark knew this and even said in his dying breath "the kid" most likely hinting Morgan Stark will carry on his legacy. Everything is beautiful and what you said i agree and is so true, thank you for this comment
she was the only person that could understand tony completely, because she was the only person who had to experience loving tony despite his desperate drive to put himself in the firing line for the sake of humanity, them getting back together and then him being lost in space after the snap probably just made her except that she probably wouldn’t have him around for much longer so she should just make the most of the time they had, thus, they had morgan
Thanks to the russos for made Pepper a vital role in Endgame
yes very well made this part. warmachine and spiderman acting out from their need to have tony. pepper gave him what tony wanted. what do you give a man who has everything. their dynamic is very well constructed in the movies.
And without her, Tony would have kept fighting to stay alive regardless of how horrible his situation was. He would have clung on, even in unbelievable pain because he believed he was still needed to save everyone.
4 years later this scene still destroys me. He started an era and he will never be forgotten

I like the fact that Rhody was the first one to find him. They both exchange a slight smirk, and Rhody is proud of his friend, but you can see in his face that he knows Tony is dying. He originally found a near dead Tony Stark on his way to becoming Iron Man, and it ends with him finding a near dead Tony Stark fulling his destiny as Iron Man. Peter and Pepper are both equally heartbreaking seeing their different reactions to Tony dying, but I don't think enough people talk about James. I love how Iron Man faced his horrors with this fight. He turned from severe PTSD to this cold Analytical genius in combat. RDJ was on spot with his acting, reflecting he was still afraid at the time of dying - the horror he was afraid of got him in that situation and died facing it.
Still, he is being praised until the very end for his courage and deeds, but everyone knows he died with a face of fear and otherworldly astonishment.
It's the fact that in spite of his fear, he still HAD the courage to do what he had to to win.
Yet didn't have the brains to just remote fire the gauntlet using his armor similar to how thantaos had triggered it when his arm cut off, and fried himself so we could get a self sacrifice trope for one of marvels most selfish characters. The infinity gauntlet in the comics never had this weird flaw to begin with. And iron man remote controling his armor is an old, old, old gimmick.@@owenmay1108
Going back to watch Iron Man, it's crazy to see how much Tony grew, but also how much he always had that righteousness inside him. This was such a great culmination to his story.
It makes me really sad to think that the last thing Tony felt before he died was metal. Everyone that came up to him was wearing his suits. All he felt right before he died was their suits. Must have felt extra cold.
He lived a life of cold metal and called himself Iron Man. Human was his species, cold metal was his identity. It's why he was able to do what he did and be what he was.
Stark .. I don't even think that he would have gotten that. There was a part of him always seperate from people, either because he pushed them away out of fear or out of feeling superior. He wasn't the most empathic person with the best will power. So think about the fact every cell in his body is now hammered from a huge dose of gamma radiation. Regardless of how smart he was, he was likely hallucinating, consciousness failing. He might have been able to verbally responde a few times but he might not have even been able to realize who he was talking to or what he was saying since every synapse and cell is collapsing and some of them would have had their contents erased and just been empty organic matter. But hey, it's a movie. You only get so much logic. With a top end later model suit like that and the tech he had, he could have just remote fired the gems and lived. It's all just plot fluff.
I come here because it's his date of death today 17/10/2023

He had the time stone and he looke for a few seconds by speeding up time. he didn't have to speed up time, he could have stopped time for himself and litterally spent the equivalent of quadrillions of eon's looking, and all we would have seen was a blink on the screen. They had other choices and just didn't explore them. It's a cheap way of trying to lock in this tear jerker ending without people pointing all of the other obvious choices. Boil it down and be real. There were other options, Strange didn't keep looking. It's just the authors plot mechanic to keep people from poking holes in his objectives with how he wanted to martyr stark and get a tear jerker ending for the character he chose to rewrite into one a little better than what it is in the comics.
RIP Iron Man October 17, 2023
And ladies and gentlemen, this is where the MCU Peaked, and now it's all gone to shit.
Spider-Man cried for one second 3:36
Who’s here after RDJ being announced as…
Dr. Doom?
Today October 17, 2023 is the day Tony Stark would have died... RIP legend
This scene alone is why the mcu will no longer be good past this phase, with a story so good and capped off with a moment like this it seems pointless to try and make anything better
Could definitely do better. But they should’ve waited to start releasing more movies. There should’ve been like a 5year movie break after this and they should’ve only released a few Disney+ shows introducing new characters. Then at the 5year mark start up again with the next event.
No, it’s because they stopped caring about the story. They just care about virtue signaling. Anything is possible with good writing
a man with no powers just big brains and still defeats thanos and saved the world
His intelligence WAS his power
This was the saddest scene of the movie. I now have trauma from this one scene.
I know, me too. Thanatos dying to such a flawed plot that most DnD nerds in their mom's basement can break. Totally heart broken.
Iron Man died and Dr. Doom was born.
Only to see Dr doom die himself
The moment that Steve rogers starts to cry, hits hard cause before he said “your not the kinda guy to lay down his life for his friends” he was proven wrong
The only avenger thanos feared.
And respected!!!
