They didn't know the anatomy of dragons, so when they teleported in, Scanlan ended up restrained between some random muscles and I'm not sure where Vax was. It took them like 6 turns to get out of their mistake and then finally make it to the stomach. lol I totally see why they changed things a little for the show. lol Also, I kind of like the change from the rod to the sword. Because, as brutal as the show is, having the immovable rod force its way out of the dragons body would have been FAR more gruesome than the sword. That actually grossed me out in the stream. lol

In college, back in 2nd ed, we had a neutral good (or was he just neutral) anyways, he got a sentient sword. The DM later said he thought it was too powerful for the group yet so he also made it sentient to give it a negative. Anyways, it was chaotic good with sense evil. so the sentient part was any time it sense evil it would leap into his hand and make him charge what ever evil it was to kill it. The party thought it strange that the guy who was usually just out for himself started charging after every evil thing... and how did he even know it was there... see it could talk, but only he could hear it. And he was rping his character that he wasn't smart enough to realize he could just think the replies. And he would just talk to it in front of us.... we had so much fun rping that we just thought he was going crazy. Tho the sensing evil eventually tipped us off. I think it ended up being the soul of a pally that got trapped in it, and centuries trapped in a sword turned him chaotic good instead of lawful good. The guy did a great job of rping his character slowly actually turning chaotic good himself, and they ended up being best buds =)

Almost a year late, but this seems a proper venue to share this story about my own gaming group. Sometime circa 2004, we were in the midst of a Dragonlance campaign. We had been given a Rod of Security. Not really knowing what to do with it but enjoying Oh Fuck! buttons, the group tied a cord to it and hung it around the neck of my somewhat Grog-like dervish fighter, a dual scimitar specialist (yes, like Drizz't). And there it stayed, untouched, for countless months, just an expensive decoration. And then my fighter got swallowed by a behir. Initiative comes back to me, GM says "alright, you're stuck in a behir. What do you do?" I look at him and I say " Bamf!" He looks startled. "Bamf? What bamf? You're a fighter." "Yes, but I'm a fighter with a Rod of Security tied around his neck." I reappeared the next round right beside the behir and nearly cut it in half. To this day the phrase " Bamf!" will make 7 of 8 people at the table chuckle, and one wince.
I'm glad they kept some of Vax's Raven Queen champion angst, but more glad they speedrunned it too. It made sense, but it carried on for a while in the game because of a persistent misunderstanding the players had about her. They kept thinking she was evil, which lead to a lot sad Vax times. Matt eventually got them to understand her tho, it just took a while 😅
Strangely not the first time I´ve seen a dragon being fisted. See "Arifureta". It really is a convenient weak spot. Or a "weak spot", if you know what I mean. ;)

The Raven Queen would know better than most gods how death gives meaning to life, but not why you might be thinking... *cough* if you want a talking weapon so bad, make sure it shares your alignment. I don't recall Mythcarver having invisibility? They used an immovable rod on Umbrasyl, but frankly, this is better.
Yes, canonically, the Raven Queen is Lawful Neutral. Her whole schtick is about the inevitability of fate and death. So I don't know either why they said she's Chaotic Neutral.
That’s something that people gotta understand: gods of death are never malicious. They can be creepy, cryptic or unsettling, but not evil. Gods of war can be evil, gods of undeath can be evil, god of order, you name it. Gods of death just do their job, death is part of life. Take any polytheistic religion earth ever had, ancient people understood that death is inevitable, so they accept it way better than christians for example.
@@Michael-bn1oi they are of death domain but they aren’t gods of death specifically. Bhaal is god of murder and myrkul is more god of decay and undeath. Or am I wrong?

"swordpository" ....so good!
They used the unmovable rod in the campaign instead of the sword but the same thing happened.
In the campaign they also used Dimension Door to get inside Umbrasyl, they didn't go up the butt.
Okay, so I know Adam is Percy, but answering that Fix It episode question had real Cad "Have you ever met a ghost you didn't want to punch?" energy :p
They really pulled a Translucent! 🤣🤣🤣
7:57 Not chaotic neutral, guys. Lawful neutral.
a butt ton of dragon
I'm glad they kept some of Vax's Raven Queen champion angst, but more glad they speedrunned it too. It made sense, but it carried on for a while in the game because of a persistent misunderstanding the players had about her. They kept thinking she was evil, which lead to a lot sad Vax times. Matt eventually got them to understand her tho, it just took a while 😅
YEEEEEEES, omg i thought this moment was never gonna come. Yes ill fix it
Good to see Jay more well rested compared to the Dad Batch reactions.
this episode was a certified butt fun of content.
I really hope that there will be a season 3 and beyond
FYI: the Matron of Ravens is not Chaotic Neutral, she's Lawful Neutral.
The Matron is Lawful Neutral at best, she doesnt really fit the criteria of a Chaotic Neutral entity.
I think you guys are ok to leave more footage in, I know copyright on YT is a bitch but other channels leave in much more
When I heard the Raven Queen's voice, I squee'd like a child. Love me some Courtenay Taylor.
Strangely not the first time I´ve seen a dragon being fisted. See "Arifureta".
It really is a convenient weak spot. Or a "weak spot", if you know what I mean. ;)
Do centaur world!!! And sandman
The goddess that surveys the passage from life to death, sworn to fight undead abominations because they subvert the natural order, is NOT chaotic.
It's LAWFUL NEUTRAL.
Wasn't this the same session with Keyteor?
Early commenter! Yay!
Anyhoo, I wanted to ask you guys: how much time do you guys spend coming up with titles for videos? Because they are *chef's kiss* good.
Nevermind, just watched the video. Lol
I think the raven que- matron of ravens is probably closer to the lawful side of the alignment chart than chaotic
If a dragon is a reptile, that might be a cloaca, but calling it a dragon's butthole is more catchy.
This react felt like such a tease dang. 2 secs worth of the matron interaction lol
Adam has an apple. (And true about her not liking liches.)
I laughed so hard at the elevator music part and it wasn't even the episode
Getting Courtenay Taylor to whisper sweet nothings into my ear would definitely work in getting me to join Team Death God. Just saying.
Aaaaaaaahhh. That is all (part 11)
Awww man. (Kick rock)
I’m second.
Technically I think that's a cloaca
Personally I think that every God or personification of death land smack dab in the middle at true neutral
How would you fix The Hobbit?
I wanna see Fix it .... The Princess Bride
The Matron is not Chaotic Neutral, the is Lawful Neutral.
think she would be considered more lawful than chaotic
Yes, canonically, the Raven Queen is Lawful Neutral. Her whole schtick is about the inevitability of fate and death. So I don't know either why they said she's Chaotic Neutral.
I completely forgot Umbrasyl could turn invisible. Had to look it up on the fan wiki.
Fix it do Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter
8:10 Technically, according to the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount sourcebook, the Raven Queen is Lawful Neutral.
Man I came here after watching the last last of us review and it was the perfect palate cleanse,
That’s something that people gotta understand: gods of death are never malicious.
Myrkul and Baal are *profoundly* evil.
Loads of gods of death are incredibly evil actually.
@@Michael-bn1oi beat me to it
@@Michael-bn1oi they are of death domain but they aren’t gods of death specifically. Bhaal is god of murder and myrkul is more god of decay and undeath. Or am I wrong?
@@danzansandeev6033 yes, Mykul was the God of death, the dead, and old age as well. He became the God of decay after he was killed and the pieces of his domain were split.
The Raven Queen got the moment of death.
This is not 5e lore, but it is still an example.
Bhaal, Myrkul and Bane shared aspects of death for a while and together were the gods of death.
@@danzansandeev6033 they claimed the position from Jergal who was a neutral God of death.
Ive been waiting to hear my actual name but I guess username is as close as Jay's gonna get
how about fixing the 1984 Supergirl movie?
I give this review 1/1 swordpositories
Too bad they didn't have a Daern's Instant Fortress instead of that immovable sword. They could have one-shotted the dragon if they activated it inside its guts.
😄
Obligatory 1st
Jay has the most painful sounding laugh, my god, the hurts my throat to hear
If you think this is good you have to watch the actual campaign sometime because they are leaving out the most hilarious bits, believe it or not.
Second?
First
