One could use hydrogen peroxide instead of water to produce sulfuric acid. However producing adequate results with the setup shown in the video wouldn’t be possible. Building a SO2 generator and bubbling the resulting gas trough hydrogen peroxide followed by boiling down the solution would yield a decent amount of sulfuric acid. I might actually try this out soon.
These don’t protect against any gas. With somewhat strong wind and standing back if you smell anything you should be fine though. Try at your own risk.
What a handsome man
woah noice
Does sulfurous acid react with nitric acid in the same way as concentrated sulfuric acid?
no
Thank you a lot
I like chẻmitry very much.Thanh you
just add some H2O2 and were set to make H2SO4
Interesting- how is the sulfurous acid oxidized into sulfuric acid?

@@THYZOID that would be an awesome project to watch!
I’ll write it down on top of my list. I have been searching for a quick and easy project for a while now.
I am currently uploading the video of the sulfuric acid preparation!
H2S instead of SO2?
cool!
Do u know how much H2SO3 you have In yield?
My guess would be ~40mg
any safety precautions?
Very good ventilation and preferably a gas mask with a suitable filter cartridge
@@THYZOID does a normal surgical or n95 mask work outside?
