- In Terraria, you are able to find thousands of different items, but some of those items end up being extremely rare, and if you don't know what those items are, you may accidentally throw it away or never even know how to get them for yourself. That's why in this video, I go over all of Terraria's rarest items and show you how to get them for yourself, including the new items in the last update we got (1.4.4)

Small correction. The sugar gliders correct drop rate is 1 in 1,000, not ten thousand. It still would have been in the video, just at the beginning versus middle

Once had a playthrough where I got the Dirtiest Block and pet Dinosaur within ten minutes. Pretty sure I used all my luck for the next 17 years.

If you are having trouble finding a Glow tulip keep these things in mind:
It's usually found in the underground below the ocean, but at least 100 tiles away from the left/right border
It can also be detected with a metal detector
Half of them usually spawn on the left, while the others on the spawn on the right

I got the dirtiest dirt while clearing for my arena. then an hour later I found the goblin npc. reforge my night's edge and got legendary first try. what a hella luck of my day
I found a dirtiest dirt block while mining out a very small area underground right under my base for the torch god event. It was around 20 blocks directly under spawn. Got it right off the start of my first play through.
What seed did you use?(Unless if it was secret seed, in which case you get a world with a random actual seed used for world generation)
I also got one close to spawn, all I did was dig out a hole for a nice base and got a dirtiest block in the process

@@Izzythemaker127he’s making the pint that you asking for seed may as well be cheating in getting it. Instead of doing the hard work yourself, you want the seed so you can get it easily.

I found the dirtiest dirt block litteraly by accident when I was digging a tunnel through a mountain in my world 😂😂😂
The terragrim is another crazy rare item, with a 1/50 chance to drop from breaking an enchanted sword shrine. Enchanted sword shrines are already super rare and hard to find, so id argue it's the rarest item, as you might not even be able to get it in any given world.
My sis wanted me to build her hellavators before killing the wall to stop biome spread. While digging 3rd hellevator, I find a dirtiest block. She saw it instantly and laid claim it: my world my dirtiest block. My argument was: My character, my potions, my axe...
She chocked held me..she's 12...I am than twice her age...she got the block too.

You can get the Pirate staff the same way you can buy the slime staff from the princess, however you need to defeat the Pirate Invasion before being to purchase one.
Btw if you grapple to your farm it counts as movement for elementals to spawn. I know this is true because I got the discord rod doing this yesterday. You DO NOT need to spam jump

Didn’t know the lizard egg was that rare. Was just trying to fight golem for picksaw and found it on my way through
i got 2 amber mosquitos from less than 300 desert fossils in my current playthrough lol
When I did a Mage Playthrough on the Celebtration Seed I found a Dirtiest Block nearly at the entrance of a cave near the spawn. It was insane.
I love how there are so many luck-based items that are non-essential to the gameplay but some of which can still provide some improvements!
I once got a Slimestaff after not even 5 Minutes into the New World. It was so nice, since it carried me well through early pre-hardmode, letting me mine and build without getting disturbed by Slimes and Cavebats. And later it served for the Jungebiome Sea Farm with the Luckycoin and Summoner gear. Fun times ^^
i got the bladed glove in my first terraria playthrough and threw it away when i entered hardmode

I found every single dirtiest dirt block in my world just while trying to find a glow tulip.
Hardest item to drop is the obviously the only weapon you want from a bosses loot pool

Nah, I always think that this painting called waldo is the hardest, it's used to be one of the few last items along with some rare enemy banners and some frickin gold critters i need to have full journey research, and i know it can be seed based or just ask people who have found it, but it's more satisfying to find it yourself yk
I found the glow tulip in my old world, still have it! I didn’t know it was rare, but I called him Walter. I love him 🥰

No joke, after I watched this, I put in a quick play session before bed & I just stumbled over 2 of these rare items, I found the flying piggyback & the Caveling Gardener.
I found the Caveling when digging to my shimmer pond, & the piggy when I fished during a blood moon.

Just got through my first pirate invasion and got Lucky Coin and Discount card and Coin Ring all in the same invasion
The universal pylon is also really hard to get, while you could argue it's not "rare", just you need a lot of effort for 100% completing the bestiary I do think (out of own experience) that it's way harder too get than these items.

i find the glow tulip using a teleportation potion which can teleports you anywhere in the world and i throw the k.o cannon.the dirtiest block. and the eucalyptus sap without knowing their drop rates!!!!! omg

The Ancient Shadow Armour set is actually rarer than the RoD. 1 in 525. Also the Monster Meat has a 1 in 1500 chance.
i accidentally found the glow tulip, used it for a while, stashed it. i always think that its me and walk off a platform or something
Before I lost all my stuff, i found the slime staff when i first played Terraria, back then i was very happy about that. Recently on with my new character i found the staff again and boy i was stull happy eben though it might not be the coolest of my stuff it might be my favorite
I found the dirties block, just a few block digging my hellevator, just below my spawn point, didnt know it was rare. O.O
On my first playthrough I got the lizard pet, the sap, the slime staff, and the coin gun.

I surprisingly got the sugar glider while hunting fruit only a few real world days into my run 😅Had no idea how rare it really was

The rarest item I've collected was the UZI when the drop rate was 1/80000. I got it the 3rd time since I was farming Plantera and constantly killing Angry Trappers and thought it was a pretty decently common drop lol

@@Yoyozombiex there is this clothing set the clother sells at a certain time and it is inspired by Mario. The plumbers hat is not sold, instead you have to kill Fire Imps to get it

Just started a new world and character last night. Haven't gotten a life crystal yet, but have found the eucalyptus sap. When it comes to finding the sap, it normally doesn't take me too long, it's the fishing rewards, the pirate rewards and the cosmic car keys are the ones that take me forever to get....
Whats funny is the dirt block as my second pet, just by making my helevator

Oh I randomly got spiffo whenever I was just traveling to the jungle while i was starting to play terraria, I thought it was a plushie to put in the house or something 😭😭😭
So I currently have the rod of discord, the caveling gardener, the pet lizard, the money trough, the pet dinosaur, the ko cannon, the bladed glove, the discount card, the lucky coin, the coin gun, the pirate staff, and slime staff.
I always struggle sooo much with the obsidian rose, I was sure it would be on this list

I got the rare dirt block pet lots of times but I never got this 2:27 through multiple playthroughs

I found a caveling gardener pet and didnt know what it was or that it was rare and sold it. Then I saw it in the thumbnail for this video while scrolling and realized that I probably shouldnt have done that.
