Thanks for mentioning the Star Fury! It's so underrated imo, not as a weapon, but as a tool. It is perfect for exploring caves and the jungle since spamming the stars can find open areas and light up all the blocks along the path too. This is something I also like to use the Lunar Flare for, but Star Fury allows that kind of exploration as well.

Slime, i think you should do an entire series of just cataloging the best way to advance through each section of terraria. Id love to see a video about the best course of action for entering hardmode; I.e - collect tons of crystals or dupe them for money + crystal darts for your-world-evil's dart rifle, dropped from mimics of the respective biome. If you dont wanna dupe, thia can be easily countered by just using your hallow mob farm instead, or bombs. Bombs normally do anything I think this could be substantially helpful to new people.. as, personally, pre-hardmode is a walk, but the few hours between just entering hardmode and actually having decent gear *for* hardmode is the biggest grind in the game
Not enough people mention once you find a magic mirror, throw all your recall potions into the shimmer. You yet back dayblooms, used for making regenertion, iron skin, archery potions and more. You also get fish back which you can cook for a nice medium well fed buff
Gnomes actually help in arenas as well. Luck increases the chance of a higher damage roll with each attack. A gnome increases your damage by an average of 1%. Not a ton but we've all lost battles where the boss has a sliver of health left.
While the chester is very good for storage management, i recommend using void bag instead ,because it acts as an extended inventory, so you can keep your information accessories in it and use healing potions directly from void bag by using quick heal option and it can also pick items when your main inventory is full, and you can also close it by right clicking
It's good but you can't use stuff from it without also having a void vault as well. I agree about the potion uses though. Very helpful in combat situations!
@@WizardNebula419 yeah pretty much same i never used Chester after i got void bag but i always like to use chester as a money safe. Actually idk if Void bag can do this too, i never tried
One thing i noticed is that i don't need to grind much in the early game pre-hardmode since i can just farm eater of souls to get the ancient shadow armors. This is what i always acquire before a meteorite will land. It gives a pretty decent amount of defense much comparable to molten armors though. After i acquire a full set of ancient shadow armor, i can finally go head to head with pre-hardmode bosses then even if i haven't get my total max health health up to 200HP since crafting potions are already enough. Great Video BTW 👍
*Go for chester if you want, but the pig trough does the exact same thing and is WAAY easier to get* You should mention that chester and the flying piggy bank companion both use the same chest for storage (i.e chester does use the piggybank and not the safe for some stupid reason) And that getting the pig trough is substantially easier than getting chrster, as its dropped by most blood moon enemies. Its a lot easier to get, and it takes up less area on the screen, which is great, to me. Less chances of accidentally clicking on the pig when placing blocks or something Bast statues dont need to be turned on, btw :)
Chester is great, but he gets in the way when hookshotting places, all the time. I feel Houndius Shootius is better drop from Deerclops pre hard mode too.
Personally. Ive found probably 2000 magic mirrors in my playthroughs. Ive found maybe a handful of ice mirrors. Maybe its just me, but i always use them instead as.. i really never see them. So, imo, if you find an ice mirror pre-hardmode.. you are lucky and should smile at yourself
Since you talk about accessories to get before hardmode, I honestly think you should have the Cell Phone. You can get all the items needed to craft the Cell phone before entering Hardmode. However, you can take it a step further. When you mentioned grabbing the Magic Conch, I should also point out that you should ALSO grab the Demon Conch by fishing in lava. Even if you don't have the Lavaproof Fishing Hook, you can still catch the various insects in the underworld (Lavafly, Magma Snail, and Hell Butterfly) you still need the lavaproof bug net (which you just take your bug net and some Hellstone Bars) or even the Golden Bug Net (angler rewards). When you have acquired the Demon Conch and the Magic Conch, as long as you have assembled the Cell Phone, you may use all three items (At the Tinkerer's Workshop) to upgrade to the Shell Phone which allows you to teleport to Spawn, Home (Bed), The Underworld, or both Ocean Biomes.
If you're enough of a mad man, the Shellphone is incredibly convenient to get, and setting up all your fishing spots in Pre-Hardmode is much preferable.
Terraspark boots need the lava charm, what i recommend is to go hardmode and kill lava bats to get the magma stone (2% drop rate). Then find the shimmer and transmute the magma stone into lava charm. This is a much better way than fishing in lava because it's really slow and annoying
You don't need to go to hardmode to get the Magma stone. It will drop from pre-hardmode bats. Use bone torches and a Gnome for luck and it should drop in 10 min or less.
Two items I highly recommend - and probably couldn't make it very far without - are the Cobalt Shield and a Lucky Horseshoe. They make everything soooooo much easier.
I’m on my first playthrough and this information would have been useful 3 deaths to the destroyer, 2 deaths to the twins, and one victory against skeletron prime ago.
Found the star fury sword very early one and it's AMAZING imo best sword you can have prehard mode since you can use it to light every cave when mining, and allow you to kill ennemies without having to be with them
Tip: The Muramasa can be found in the First Chest you encounter in the Dungeon (must be a Locked Chest) its location will be changed if the first chest you find is a Wooden Chest
Summoner tip find your spider biome and make a box to let your summon kill them safely, it will give you overpowered summon armor and weapon for early hardmode
Amphibian boots are better than teraspark boots for combat as they increase jump/flight speed and height, you only need the special bonuses of the teraspark boost like 2 times and van be done with potions. Fledgling wings are actually bad and it's better to get a bundle of balloons wich can also be done mostly with fishing. Shimmer is not always under the ocean. This may be true for small worlds but it can be further inland on medium and large worlds.

Get the demon conch as well and craft a shellphone with magic mirror and conch. This allows you to teleport to spawn, ocean, and hell with one item. To get the demon conch you need to fish in hell. catch hell bugs with a golden net from the angler, or lavaproof net from hellbars and a regular net. Fish in lava and hope you get lucky. Might even find a fireproof fishing hook from a crate to allow regular bait to be fished in lava. Fishing in hell is a lot easier prehard mode. PS. need cell phone to craft the shellphone sry.
If you want the Dark Mage's tome (master-mode item) from the Old One's army .. you probably want that before you go into Hardmode, right? I'd really like to know how you've brightened up the world so you can see without torches or anything, would be good to use
Night vision helmet, mining helmet, the ultra bright helmet (mining and night vision combined), any light pet, etc.
@@theepicorn7072 I’m aware of these things but I actually found that he’s using a mod to turn up brightness, thanks anyway.
I'm trying to make a perfect world... what farms would you say are absolutely needed?
what was his weapon used when he killed the king slime?
I really like to craft shellphone before hardmode, yeah I'm insane
“Get molten armor and the nights edge”
As for the other three classes…?
I think he really only covered Melee cuz that’s typically the first class people go, especially when by themselves.
Ranger get the necro armor and bee bow that turns wooden arrow into bees 😂 use archery potions
obsidian armor and spinal whip for summoneer , you can use it a lot in hardmode too
