It's one thing to be influenced by retro trends, it's another to copy them. As anyone that knows a little about the nu-disco genre of the early-2010s probably understands, this isn't copying. Back in the 70s, the synth sounds were much different and less developed, and genres such as house and new-wave were completely unheard of.
This is one of those songs that get better the more you listen to them.
Wow, this is nice. Feels like 1979 again. I'm now a fan of Little Boots.
Love it 1979.. again..woooo!
My personal favorite from the new album
Not intending to offend anyone but for some reason this gives a vision of loved ones even if they depart to the next life they will still dance
Literally found this song by accident just now. Glad I clicked loving this song. Giving me late 90s early 2000s funk house vibes
FAVOURITE TRACK OF THE ALBUM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Literally my favorite song that plays in the radio at albertsons (catch me dancing everytime)
IK 😃 where is yours located at?
best pop song in last decade.
Bass played by Charlie Jones (Page and Plant, Goldfrapp, etc)
Sounds a lot like city pop. The titular "beat beat" is so cute!
Jessie Ware reminds me of this song!
"... you can keep up the beat of my heart- cause I send the pain from insight of your brain!"
I dream of it, woke up singing it, so, yeah, great tune!
I can’t at all the gay gurls working in retail promoting this gem
Excellent song! I'm gonna keep on dancin' :)

She sounds like kylie minogue.
Funk bass disco? In 2013? This is the imagination of 2013? From Little Boots, beloved? Rewind. Forget this ever happened.
I heard this song from an album that I've got from her called Beat Of Your Heart and I rather that version than this one.
I can see that, I was thinking more like Madonna actually.
Pop...?
80's ?
What fuck&&
