FINALLY! Welcome to the club! 😄 I been tellin' you, man! THE best PCC on the market, hands down, the MPX-K absolutely shits on the Scorpion. I SBR'd mine a while back, ditched the garbage pistol brace for a folding stock, threw on a suppressor and it's now the pride of my collection. It's a short stroke gas piston, btw.
I had a question about your mpx, hoping for some advice. Does your mpx get really gassy when shooting suppressed? Mine will have my eyes watering after about 14 rounds of fast firing. Just wondering if I have a bad one or is every mpx owner dealing with gass in the face? But yes, it's an awesome firearm! Very soft shooting and suppresses great.
@jaywill904 ... Unfortunately, it's just a byproduct of running a PCC suppressed. Especially with such a short barrel. (The B&T SPC9 is better because it has a longer barrel. But the APC 9K Pro is about the same indoors). Mine has a binary trigger as well, which can compound the issue with 4-6 round bursts. Honestly, the best option is a flow-thru suppressor. I have a Next Level Armament charging handle that sorta helps... but not really all that much. Some people I know have applied a bead of silicone in that little u-shaped notch between the receiver and the charging handle. I'm usually running mine outdoors, or on the move. So it's not really big enough of an issue for me to do all that. Indoors in a stall can be pretty brutal. Unfortunately, it's largely one of things you just kinda have to deal with. 🤷🏾♂️
@caynine29 OK, so that's a common issue with other mpx owners. That was the main thing bugging me, wondering if I drew the short straw and got a bad one. Thanks for the advice. I thought about getting the cash 9 flo through can. I also changed the charging handle and bought the ( in lead we trust) adjustable gas plug, it helped a little but I can deal with the gas. I just want to know if anyone has any parts or something to better tame the gas to the face. 😅 still love shooting it! It's the best pcc I ever shot.
@signupacc5050 Yeah, that sucks that sig put out this awesome shooting pcc but didn't complete the design. That gas to the face seems like a flaw, small flaw stopping a good gun from being a great gun. Imo
You should try the grand power stribog sp9a3. Same exact gas system as the mp5, everything you want as far as easier controls/ar style lower and the thread putch is 1/2X28 RH ships with 3 mags
@@gordon5008 false. Remember there are 3 generations of the stribog. The most recent generation “sp9a3” is roller delayed blowback just like the mp5. The 3 shoot very similarly and are the best in the class recoil-wise. I’ve fired all of these weapons, mp5 semi and full auto, mpx semi and full auto, stribog, scorpion, b&t apc9, 9mm banshee, akv… gen 3 stribog and the mp5 were the best in terms of recoil followed by the mpx.
Awesome video! I just picked mine up from ordering it online. Two questions does your upper and lower have a little wobble? Also was it easy to remove the muzzle device? Heard and seen the older versions they were a pain to remove. Thanks
I love my MPX-K. More people are making a 3-lug adapter to fit the SIG LH 13.5x1. In Lead We Trust (ILWT), HKP, Griffin Armament of which I’m snagging from SiCo for the Omega 9K! This is my favorite “fun” shooter even over my SIG P320 XCarry Legion, Staccato P, BCM 11.5/14.5’s!
Favorite gun from sig by far. Wish they’d make another generation of it/update it. The gas system is gas piston, which is what scars use. Very low recoiling PCC!
You should try the CMMG banshee in 9mm. I love mine it has its own gas system as well, radial delayed blowback. Great vids man keep it up I just subbed 💪🏼
Sold my Scorpion two days ago, as I got the MPX, and it trumps the Scorpion all day any day. B&TAPC9K is also top tier- i would have a hard time deciding between both of mine which one of those two I like better!
@@2WildGuns Also forgot to mention- make sure you get some of the newer Thril mags for the MPX- hold 35 rounds, and made by some guys that left Lancer to start their own company. They are so good they are now OEM for Sig for the MPX- really good mags. If you combine them with the Taran Tactical +9 base pad, you get 44 rounds in a still pretty compact package for the MPX!
Yes I stand corrected on it being a German company but it is a German company based of the partnership of "SIG Group AG" is a Swiss company and "J.P. Sauer & Sohn" of Germany
@@2WildGuns I stand corrected. You are correct. The MCX is also multi-cal. I’ve had my MPX for 8 years now. Wanted 357 Sig. Would settle for 40 S&W. Sig will tell you that they have absolutely no plans to produce anything other than 9mm because it’s selling and why mess with something that sales. Look me up when they come out with a caliber conversation kit for the MPX and I’ll buy you a beer.
Ummm… where is the Honey Badger at in this conversation. Tapered threads, no suppressor walk off .300 black out sub sonic and super sonic. Home defense champion

@@jaywill904 MPX is notoriously gassy when suppressed. That's prolly the biggest knock against it. B&T APC9 and SPC9 are much better suppressor hosts

SIG SAUER is more American than Swiss. SIG AG is true Swiss. If you want Swiss quality, you should look into B&T.
Good luck finding an APC 9 SD !
Nice review. Was looking at the MPX myself. Hoping they release like a MPX LT version in the future

I got something special coming with Stribog I got you brother
The Stribog is not as soft shooting as the MPX or MP5.
The Show Low Black Jack shoots almost as soft as the MPX.

where did you bought that trilog muzzle device? TIA

I had two scorpions that were fully upgraded and I hated both of them.
mpx shoots great! might need to add this one!

Hey can you share the suppressor mount needed for the YHM R9 on this Sig MPX
I use different barrel lengths and hand guards on mine suppressed.

@Big_Bruv_Innit this. CMMG are decent but have some issues and typically don’t run well with suppressors
. 45acp or 10mm I’m sold
You should try the CMMG banshee in 9mm. I love mine it has its own gas system as well, radial delayed blowback. Great vids man keep it up I just subbed 💪🏼
Alright you got me. I’m finally subbing bro
New to guns but can someone tell me where I can buy this gun in Central Florida. Do I need to order online?
I haven't picked up my Rattler LT yet, but was told it doesn't have a brace on it.
Yea they probably not RIGHT now but soon
I owned an mpx and it was nice, but I ended up trading it once I got my B&T SPC9. The APC9 will be joining the collection soon.
I keep hearing about the b&t makes me think should I review that next lol
@@2WildGuns most definitely
Coming back to this video 8months later 🔥🫡
Awesome video! 👌
Love my OD GREEN MPX K W/6.5" ILWT tri lug/half by twenty eight tpi barrel. Amazing suppressed
Get some 35 RND FREEDOM SEED MAGS A from THRIL (blk, fde and grey) cheaper than sig

B&T way to much money to be shitty ass direct blowback lol
Better than AP5?
Try the new MK4 9mm banshee with the new triggers they are fuego.
Basically you can put another upper on it
I wish they would offer it in an 8” without having to do a barrel swap.
That's my EDC; fit in my backpack like a dream 😁
@Big_Bruv_Innit crazy ppl out there .. watch your back bruh 😆
They brought the brace back bought mines new and registers the warranty in November, emailed sig for a brace that my gun didn’t come with. No reply.😢
Did you order one with a "-NB" in the sku? That is no brace SKU. A bunch of them on GunBroker but not on SIG website.
What range you at in Georgia if you in Georgia
Homie can shoot, hell yeah!
How is it first shots but your sight is zeroed?
It came zeroed with the sight
That trigger looks super short🔥
Yea bro it’s super short I kept getting trigger freeze trying to time it because it’s different
@@2WildGunsI put a Timney in my 8.3 300blackout build, man they make crispy triggers, great price too
For the price it ain't gonna replace scorpion, you can almost have 3 scorpions for one MPX.
Do I want it if I have another 2k to burn on a PCC? Sure.
Hell yeah dope lookin i want one lol

I like this channel! Refreshing to see a down to earth RUclipsr unlike the other typical corn fed white guy with an attitude. Keep up the good work 👍
Timmy trigger. lol. Timney is the manufacturer.
I know I fucked up
MPX 8"? 10"? 12"?????
Multi-cal means nothing to Sig. It’s marketing only. Don’t hold your breath on caliber conversion kits.
Well I mean they did multi cal on the spear and we got a few calibers with that
