Hugh Laurie and Joe Morton on the same screen was a true gift.
I thought I recognized him. He was in Terminator 2. I like as an actor.
I can't believe Skynet creator Miles Dyson was under the care of House
Hopefully he got better and went off to create Cyborg
It’s a tv program people geez
No, no, no, it’s Henry Deacon. Local handyman from Eureka!
Fortunately, Sarah Connor wasn't around to tell Chase to kill him.
Lol I was just thinking of Terminator 2 when I seen him.
0:53 in a previous episode, House is playing on a GameBoy Advanced SP. Glad to see he upgraded during that time.
now it's a DS phat and later a PsP
Glad to see someone else caught that 😂
@@endermambr yeah I always rewatch house MD earlier seasons
No one gasps for air like Joe Morton.
Yes! Miles Dyson taking his final breaths in Terminator 2 is one of the best scenes in that movie. I can't help but wonder if Joe Morton lists "gasping for air" as one of his special skills on his resume. 😆
genuinely
I don't know how much longer I can hold this.
@@ChristopherRobinson-Heyazzo Yes!
terminator 2 is still my favorite movie he’s in dude is a legendary actor
Joe Morton is such a great actor. No one has beaten his death scene in T2. And in this, god I feel his pain when House denies him oxygen.
Because House is House, he and Wilson got caught right away, but this guy became president and pardoned both of them. Cuddy keeps her restraining order and has a nice life. That's always been my headcanon for the ending.
Bruh, his face at Cuddy for that absolute burn!😂
4:14
Lol the way house takes that hammer from foreman like he isnt a neurologist
And that’s not how you do it. Usually you block the vision and make it so the patient can’t expect it
@@NeonBigDummy and u swing it,not grabbing tight
@@NeonBigDummy I think the reason foreman wasn’t too worried about covering his eyes is the senator was too busy being interrogated by house
@@rayman2902 it doesn’t really matter as it’s just a tv show lol
@@NeonBigDummy you know what good point lol
6:21 Phenytoin is a generic version of Dilantin, used for seizures, which is associated with cerebellar atrophy or degeneration in the area of the brain that controls balance and muscle coordination. Lamictal is one of several alternative drugs and has fewer side effects. That's from personal experience. Dilantin is kinda old-school now.
I'm not convinced he never had seizures after 10 years old, unless they he had a resection surgery or a hemispherectomy or some other surgical solution. Would show up on medical histories though. Ah what the hell it's just a drama and we all loved it.
Juvenile epilepsy or febrile seizures that went away, and then they tried getting him off the meds, no seizures, no more meds!
I love that actor in this episode. He was equally great in Eureka too.
I was trying so hard to remember where I knew him from
*takes oxygen mask off*
“You didn’t fall off the swings when you were 8”
Ah yes doctor house, we gotta make sure the important stuff is out of the way first.
It is, its him letting the senator know he knows he lied, and the next sentence specifically mentions the seizure.
Must let them have a near death experience so the flashbacks brings accurate answers 😂
Joe Morton is such a great actor. His death scene in T2 is still the most impressive on screen death I’ve ever seen. And in House, god do you feel his pain when House denies him oxygen.
"great black hope" ayo
only in the face of choking to death did he tell the truth
"Everybody lies."
"I just find being forced to sit through Drivel annoying" Gregory House truly a wise man.
Right on time for my lunch break!
House should be in a Terminator movie
That moment when he puts down the ds
He didnt even fight him on the fighting point
The doctors never test the samples . We the Clinical Scientists in the world do all the testing . Hairy cell is easy to see. We are the ones who tell the doctors the diagnosis
Yeah that would require extra background actors with potential speaking roles, which is expensive. So it’s usually the doctors themselves in these shows even though it’s less realistic
@@courier6960 I mean, in this it makes sense kinda. Totally in House's ballpark to go "those lab rats are idiots, my team will do it instead!"
There's two reasons TV shows do this. One, so the actors can be seen looking busy while they talk. Waiting around for results isn't visually interesting. And two, if an extra has any lines they get paid residuals, so you might as well just use the actors you're already paying.
They also do surgeries when it's usually left to specialists.
@unexardiximarion1920 Yeah his team are stupid but those guys make them look like geniuses.
I think he meant that antibodies are like your OFFENSIVE line, the Defensive line play with the linebackers trying to get the quarterback
Papa Pope before Scandal. Love you Joe Morton.
Question for any medical workers:
Is it a bit of a nuts jump to do an LP after realizing the person has no reaction in their knee?
Hey look, it’s this upload again!
The Terminator
with an opening shot like that i'd throw up too
Oh no someone’s dying 📸
i didnt know Joe pesci was so into politics
wait did i miss him where was he in the episode?
Why Hugh Laurie you got Nintendo DS 0:52
*hits his knee twice, doesn't move. "What's wrong?"
*hits his knew twice again, doesn't move. "What is it?"
Oh sure that guy went to Yale. Or never had a check up ever in his life.
They don't often tell you what it's for
Does he actually care about his patients? He is no better than Joe Bastianich or Simon Cowell.
Ran for President and lost. Got angry, created Skynet, and destroyed the entire planet.
Newcomers can get out of Jury duty 😂🎉
i think house was being pointlessly cruel when he was questioning him about the seziure
Bro that dude was lying. He wouldn't have said he took drugs
Sometimes it is the only way truth out of people
Because he was being so truthful and forthcoming prior to that wasn't he
It's not like he was in the hospital with neurological deterioration or struggling to breathe, no, nothing like that, no incentive to tell the truth, pfft
Easy to say it was needless and cruel from behind a screen, and you'd have been happy for him to choose death over honesty
No sh!t. But how else was he going to get the truth?
First time watching the show?
This is a weird episode. Good, but weird. It's odd how House seemed to get along with this patient. I must've missed something.
I must have missed something. Or does your idea of "get along" involve torture?

Its wholesome when House says "it's okay"
💯🥂 That African American playing the politician should've gotten
*CRAZY awards* for that coughing when house took away his oxygen mask,
*his EYES got darker and darker* - amazing 📐🥂💯
Martin Shkreli could have saved this guy
