  • I had 4 speakers that I wasn't using. Two of them were 75-watt Celestion G12T and the others were a pair of 25-watt Celestion G12M.
After looking and searching for speaker cabinets, I decided to make my own. I found a quad bookcase that seemed easy enough to make into a 4x12 cab - and I had extra plywood to make the front and back.
Once the bookcase was assembled, I cut the plywood to size and installed the hardware (speakers, jacks, wire, screws, washers, etc.).
Each speaker is 16 ohms, 12", wired in parallel. There is one speaker and one corresponding input jack for each speaker. I am using 4 individual mini-amps (Joyo). Because there are effectively 4 single speakers, the combinations for use are nearly endless. Add to this the effect loops for each head and you can imagine how many 100's of sound combinations are possible.
