    I really like the combination and having a big sound options, i was thincking in getting one of these, now i'm pretty sure of gettin it, thanks a lot

    Hate to say this, but the old pickguard sounded better to me, I'm not a big fan of split pickup sounds, if I want humbucker tone I grab a LP, if I want strat sound I switch to my strat, I've found split pickups sound weak and lifeless, and I rarely used the push pull pots, I use to have in a LP, I eventually went back to 3 way switch,others may like all these choices,but I hear very little difference in tone, just more volume on some settings,I would have to hear it in person I guess.

      I appreciate your comment. Agreed. Marketing a split coil humbucker as a single coil substitute is inaccurate. Split humbuckers have their own sound.
