I just bought that exact Saphue pickguard yesterday!!! Has the coil split switches had to change ceramic humbucker to Alnico V though $24 Alnico V pickups $22 Pickguard $55 in total!
It’s a heckuva deal, isn’t it! I’m not sure if you saw my video about the guitar that has that pickguard in it so here’s a link if you want to check out how it sounds Why my cheapest guitar 🎸 is my favorite! 😃 #cheapguitars #gibson #fender #ibanez ruclips.net/video/O3Dhvt1uqNc/видео.html
Good evening, Matt. I hope you're having a wonderful day. I'm thinking of buying one of these pickguards. Do you recommend them? It looks like a fantastic deal, I'm curious, but I also don't know how the wiring/selector switch works on this. Some people are saying that pickups are microphonic, are they any good? Any tips would be much appreciated.
My personal opinion is that these are a phenomenal deal and I have used this Guitar many times on stage at church and in a local club. The pick ups can be microphonic but turning them down a little bit helps. The difficult part is if you need to transfer the electronics to a pickguard that matches your guitar, like I had to do. If you are able to directly install this pickguard on your guitar, I think there are only two or three wires to solder together. It’s assembled and ready to go besides two ground wires and one white wire. I hope this helps!

Hi! If you soldered all the wires of the new pre-wired pickguard into your guitar correctly, the Kill Switch should be working. The kill switch is not like some other ones that pushes in and out quickly. It has to be pushed down all the way to kill the signal, then pushed down again to turn it back on. It's not the normal type of kill switch. I hope this helps!
Thanks for interacting with my video. I think I communicated poorly in what I was saying. I meant to say, hundreds or thousands of dollars to upgrade a guitar. Thank you again
